Hi guys,
I'm new to this forum, so i hope i'm not breaking any rules by posting this.
I have a ZTE N61 phone, and I want to migrate it to Android. My first experience was by running a version of Haret with a ROM from another phone. As i expected, it went wrong.
First i would like to know if anynone has done this, and if no any help will be apreciated by pointing me in the right way
Thx

Hope it helps,
i would just like to announce as of tomorow me and a friend of mine will be developing our rom. i know manny of you may not care about this but i will need help (my friend not so much). with this rom i plan on throwing many features in but me and my friend had figured the best place to start for this rom was the launcher if anybody can help i would like to know how to develope my own launcher. i had origonaly tried google but i couldnt find any thing.
if you have any question about our blaze rom please ask and also thank you so much for your help, cartch17.
Sorry in advance if this should be in Q&A (mod please move if inappropriate) but my question has to do with development so....
Anyway.. was wondering if anyone could point me in the direction of any guides or helpful threads that would help teach me how to port a rom. I am wanting to start to learn how to make custom ROMS and figured this would be a good place to start as the heavy lifting has already been done by the real devs...
Specifically looking to port lets say a nexus S rom for use with the NS4g for now.
Thanks in advance for any help you can give!
I was wondering the same thing. It seems like so much good is coming from the Nexus S section, that I would like to help bring it to the 4g side.

Yes, I know. Me too as well, but there's no guides on porting or I just can't find any. If anyone knows any guides on porting, point us fellows in that direction. thanks!
Man... kinda sux... no one can help at all?
First, this belongs in Q & A, hence no answer , second, it should be pretty easy, nandroid, switch out rild, and rils, make correct edits to build prop, and a kernel for ns4g and you should be good to go.
Are there any guides out there that perhaps detail this process a little bit, I would like to start porting some ns roms over to ns4g. I followed the steps provided by the previous post, and got most everything booting for the new miui rom with ICS however the wifi still doesn't work and it will not allow me to flash a different kernel as afterwards it refuses to boot. Any guidance would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
Hello there folks,
Greetings!!!
This is my first post on this forum and I hope that I will find what I am looking for.
I have searched through the forum to find if a similar Q had already been posted but, couldn't find one. Therefore, starting one thread of my own.
I am currently running CyangenMod 7.2.0-RC1-legend on my HTC Legend and I want to load the stable version of this ROM.
But when I try to load the ROM, the setup says "Device Not Found" and it does not proceed any further. I first thought if the OS of my machine could be a problem (32 bit vs 64 bit) but found out that the OS is not an issue.
I am not sure what could be the cause of this and how do I fix it.
I request you folks to please help me out with this issue. In case any further details are needed to help find the cause, I shall gladly share the same.
Thank you very much in advance. Hope to hear soon from you.
Regards,
Sridhar
P.S: Like I said this is my first post. So you may find it to be a bit lengthy. Please excuse me for that
Hey everyone, I apologize in advance for my ignorance here. Mods, I searched for this to the best of my limited ability, and I don't think this exact thing is covered elsewhere (and I can't post in the Developers forums with a new account). If I'm mistaken and this is addressed, or if this is not the right place for this question, I apologize--please move it accordingly.
I have an ASUS ME127V which I rooted and installed Clockworkmod Recovery following the guides here in the Dev forums (this was about a year ago, so things may have changed in the interim).
Recently I've become aware of the SSL issues with Android 4.1.1, so I'd like to restore my tablet to stock and upgrade my Android version, but unfortunately I'm just coming up short every time I try to do this. I've tried the AMPC beta app that's linked to in the dev forum, but haven't managed to get it to work, partly because I'm not certain what other files I need.
Can anybody point me toward a simple step-by-step for unrooting/removing CWM/returning to stock?
Thanks for your help and patience.
