I'm just curious what people think about the new android market? I personally live the new market and think Google finally got the mobile market down.

Personally, it feels cluttered. I feel like I'm browsing a website that has so many ads surrounding its content, except those "ads" are actually content. Yes, it is an improvement over the previous market, but it isn't very aesthetically appealing on those "home" type screens. The 2 column app screens, however, are wonderful. I am also experiencing a little bit of stuttering here and there, but that could be down to the software/hardware issues inherent in a stock Sensation.
Love it, but could be a bit quicker. I want the icons to be cached to my SD card so it loads faster...

But I think the first version was easier to use. Not the sensation stock one. This is a bit comfusing.
Does it not look kinda like Windows Phone 7 with all the tiles? It has that feel to it, and when swyping to the right and left for the paid/free apps and such.
That was my initial reaction.

My opinion? It works so it doesn't suck . I don't have the t-mo apps link anymore on the market so that worked out for me.

Seems to break the flow of my other apps; could be just a shock to the system right now; but doesn't seem to "fit in" with everything else on the phone design wise.

Has anyone made this switch? I love the G2, but I'm just not feeling the hardware keyboard. :/
I figure I can get a MT4G for the same price I can sell my G2 for, so it's a quick swap. What are the pros of the MT4G? Biggest drawbacks? I just really, really prefer the solid bar shape to the hinged G2.

I have both the g2 and the mytouch 4g I wasn't to hot for the keyboard myself it sits here collecting dust. I use it for games easier to play with hardware buttons. I don't regret my choice of getting the mytouch either.

If the seller via Craigslist or EBay is that serious about selling the phone they can check for you w/o root the phone. It's super simple to do.
Personally i have "bad screen" and it's not that different from a "good screen". My kid sister has a "good screen phone" and it's brighter, and the whites are whiter. thats about it.
Well,i haven't made a switch, but I did check them both out at the store, and I went with the glacier just cause I like how it looks. And I don't use qwerty, nor do I like touch sensitive buttons.

Faster processor, MUCH more RAM, larger screen, better feel to the device (IMHO), and FFC.
I've been toying with the idea of obtaining a MT4G instead, since I very, very rarely use the hardware keyboard anymore. Less than I thought I was going to.
Is T-Mo STILL having bad-screen units coming off their shelves to this day? You'd think that would not be an issue by now. What am I saying, of course it is, most people probably have no idea it's even a problem..
Those with touch screen responsiveness issues and lag problems should try this. In fact, everyone should. It sped up my and my wife's device about 25% and cured her touch screen issues.

Seems like 6 other people who say it helped are smoking crack too, uh? Don't tell me its a placebo affect when as soon as I did it, my keyboard is much more responsive. I used to have to double tap keys all the time but now my first and every tap is registering. Just because it does nothing for you, doesn't mean it didn't do anything for me know it all. I think I have a little bit more mobile knowledge than to be fooled by the placebo affect.

Would be super cool if people would support this phone like the HD2 (being able to run android and WM6.5/7). Just throwing it out there... Would have bought a HD7 but waiting for the software to do a little catch up. Thinking when mango is released it will be that point where it had matured and everyone would be content using it day to day.

After looking at the radar.. it's a Windows phone, that's what you want? It's also 1ghz... 5mp camera (which also doesn't look that much better from reviews) but to each his own. Pick what you like best

i used samsung focus before, and here what i think about window phone
*pro:
- smooth, nice UI.
- good battery life
* cons:
- web browser is suck ( no flash option, no bookmark organize ..)
- no official youtube app.
- Almost like iOS ( need Zune desktop, no real file manager , no directly download file from browser..)
Overall, WP 7 is great for normal users, not a geek.

I think windows phone has potential. Get it *unlocked* and add a file browser and a proper video player I will be down!! SOOON!!! But only if ICS(BEST OS EVER) and FLASH didnt exist LOL
I would never give up a sensation for that. That's comparable to an exhibit 2! but the camera is way better on an exhibits 3mp! If you don't have ICS on your sensation I would def suggest it. It's amazing I put away my galaxy s2 for a while because it's so smooth. Went 13 hrs with power save mode on and still had 64% left. Then again everyone has different needs... What do you truly need?

I came here from WP7, its a lovely looking OS and the Titan I had was so quick, 105th quickest on WP bench. But the development is non existent! Unless you buy one of the 1st Gen ones, you cannot do anything. And if you want it dev unlocked the only way is to pay MS and with that you can only side load 3 apps!

No the unlock is a developer unlock. Pretty much just allows you to install non market apps. If you enjoy the freedom of android, youl have a shock going to windows. But if you just want a nice, good looking, fast phone then go for it. To be honest, i wish i kept my omnia 7 aswell as my sensation. I do kinda miss windows but android gives so much more.
i thought the sensation has f2.2 lens also
I would stick with the Sensation... you will regret it if u choose Radar as I think that it is step back..
