Does this phone have a micro SD card or... some sort of flash memory, attach to the mainboard.

According to the Screen bleed fix thread where the guy disassembles his phone to get to the screen, he says that there is not an SD card attached to the motherboard
Thanks I did not see that, When I saw that post.

Yes, there was a thread about multiple boot ROM in devi section. Search!

No need to jump down their throat, especially when that thread addresses having two options to boot from, not really the same thing this guy was asking

I'm just saying that will be cool having a cm7 rom and switching to ics with out flashing or cwm recovery every time

I believe this is what he was referring to.

I have dual boot on my laptop. I have to restart to boot into ubuntu though, his question seems more like, can you store two os in ram and switch between them. That would be sweet. Especially now that I know about that swapper program that lets you built a virtual ram partion on your ultra class 10 32gig sd : )

This works great on computers but on devices it would be kind of pointless not to mention the amount of memory you would need...still seems cool but I can't imagine the benefits...

It was the same thing he was asking, the other (I give him the benefit of the doubt) thing he also know isn't the best way for a phone ram, yet.

I was removing my sim card from my infuse and one of the contacts came up. Like its still in tact but its lifted up. Should I try pinning it down or is it not fixable? Here's a picture

I had the same thing happen to mine. I carefully pushed it back down and put my sim back in it. As long as you don't break it it should still work

Did you use any tools or just simply pushed it down?

Used a pocket knife to pull up on the silver holder lol.

Haha! Yes! It worked! Thank you very much. I took your advice and used a pocket knife on the metal thing. Although it seems I might not be able to remove my Sim card anymore. But hey at least it works.

Glad it worked for you. It can still be taken out, just have to be careful.

Could it be your SIM card occasionally loses contact with the phone because it's a bit loose?
Just get a new sim card.

Id take the sim card out and wipe off the contacts a bit. Make them nice and shiny and then put it back in.

I wonder if its a hardware issue. If I close it I still have signal. No need to restart

Get a new sim from your carrier.
I had the same problem, eject the sim card and put it back in, make sure it's all the way in. It has not happened since I did that.
yea, seems like a contact issue, try reseating the sim, if that doesn't help i'd just go to att and ask for a new card
