As long as you can boot into recovery, you aren't bricked. Try running a desire RUU. But make sure it's for your carrier.
ok i have tried and it wont work says error not connected to usb or usb debug is not on
Can you get to hboot ?
if so, try reset device.
i have reset everything one the phone i can nothing is working i can reset everything so when i push the power button it goes right to hboot like it the only thing installed on the phone and i can get to recovery mode and if i rest everything and bring it to us cell do u think they will be able to tell i did something to it even if i claim stupid "i didnt do anyhting to it i just woke up this morning and it was like that can u fix it" lol

problems after rooting my phones

i have the same problem on my mytouch 3g 1 generation phone and mytouch 3g 1.2 after rooting it it gets stuck on the green start up screen and wont go past the start up screen i cant even get to the recovery menu on either . i was told i could do something on ADB but I dont have it set up on my computer any help would be appreciated as i really want my phones back
try to enter Hboot, if it works, download a ruu flash img to recover ur phone

Where is the original recovery image ???

Could anyone help me out, I have been searching for about 2 hours all over to get the original recovery image back on a friend Nexus S, he had issues with CyanogenMod and now want to be back to stock.
I have tried my best to get him to rethink this but, nothing to do. I have so far followed the procedure found here and everything went perfectly until I tried to reboot into recovery.
Now not only cant I get into original recovery but, I cannot even get the clockwork recovery. Instead, I get a android robot with a yellow triangle and exclamation mark.
I could re-install clockwork recovery with fastboot but nope, he wants the original one.
Can anyone help me to find it
EDIT: The supposed to be original recovery image I have gives me:
Exceed blocks 0x000000020 > 0x00000001e
even after a Flashboot erase recovery

Relax friend, you did better than you thought!
The android with the exclamation point IS the stock recovery. When you see it, hold power and press volume up to reveal the user interface.
For future reference, flashing a stock ROM will typically install the stock recovery as well.
Cheers!
Yup thanx

That's why I don't root other people's phones. Just don't like the feeling when something doesn't go right. Or always having to fix their problems. It's just a matter of time before they become curious and check it out for themselves.

Red Triangle with exclamation mark in recovery

Hey guys, been searching the net for a fix but haven't had any luck finding a solution.
Here is the problem
I have the HTC Sensation. Have previously S-Off, Rooted and installed the Android Revolution HD <http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1098849>
Everything was great for a while till I had to take the phone into the repair centre to check why signal strength was so low....... so I restored the original factory vodafone ROM RUU_Pyramid_Voda-Hutch_AU_1.45.862.3_Radio_10.56.9035.00U_10.14.9035.01_M_release_220002_signed <http://downloadforeveryone.com/search.html?type=all&search=ruu+pyramid>
Up till here, everything was fine. Phone was checked and given back to me.
Tried going into recovery to install the Revolution HD ROM again...... but comes up with an Exclamation mark in a red triangle.
I have SuperUser installed on the ROM.
installed ROM Manager from the market place, but when I start it, it says the phone isnt Rooted. Dont know how to root without the Recovery
Anyone have any ideas ? (useful ones)
You should post this on Q&A, you may want to take a look at this: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1469296
Hope it helps
Found a solution
after a lot more digging around, i found the following thread which seemed to help
Hopefully it helps others out as well

I should mention... I used method B
This normally happend when you try to apply an OTA update with a custom recovery
The red triangle with exclamation isn't an error or problem or anything, it's what the stock recovery looks like!
At this screen, press Volume Up + Power, and you get the menu.
u have to re root your device, and reinstall custom recovery

[Completed] HTC One Can't Update With Root?

Ok please bare with me I'm new to the rooting scene. Ok, so as some of you may know there's a new update (6.10.531.10 - something about audio issues). So, I keep getting the notification to update and I've been trying to update for a while. Now, my phone (HTC One T-mobile) is rooted and every time I tried updating it would take me to the TeamWIN reboot thing (I don't know what to call that). So, I did some research and it turns out I had to install a stock recovery, update, then reinstall my custom recovery. So, I did install a custom recovery and everything is fine (not sure If it was, but my CID is TMOB010, something like that). However, the problem occurs everytime I press install it reboots fine and it goes into the green triangle downloading, then it goes all the way or close to it and it switches to a Red Triangle With an Exclamation Mark, and theres nothing I can do from there. The only thing I can do from there is hold the power button and wait for it to restart and it goes back to normal, and the cycle repeats again. Can someone please help me?
Edit: I do have S-ON if that makes any difference.
