Hi all, ok wow im nearly there i think, im trying to install my custom rom and from the official instructions number 3 which is "Plug your phone into your computer and select "USB-MS toggle" in recovery
Place the Custom ROM on your SD card in the main directory and press Home when it has finished copying over" I cant see the bit saying "usb-ms toggle" in recovery, can anybody help me please, hope not a noob question but i am new to this and i surely must be nearly there, also once ive installed the custom rom what do i do next, ie any info help please on what i can do..

help nearly there with chronos rom and htc hero 2.1
Ok, ive now managed to root the htc hero and install the chronos rom, but when i select it through my phone in recovery all im getting is a "chronos" across the phone and its not loading, i had to take the battery out for 15 mins and reinstall my original backup, any help please why "chronos 2.4.4 is not loading correctly ? thankyou and hope to hear soon from

hi guys i need your help i flashed my tilt with the rom of wm 6.5 flame.
and its working ok but i dont have sound its in maxsimum volume and noting cant hear music and no taping aswell.
i already did hard reset but still dont work what else can i do?!
you need to flash a different radio
do a search for radios or look in the kaiser wiki

You flashed an appropriate rom.

oki installed another rom and now i cant even start the windows how can i delete everyting i did and make to the first place? even after hard reset still dont come up
its the tpc elite setires rom its stuck on htc main screen the phone is on becuase i can call him and he rotate but i dont see noting
how can i uninstalled this rom without tuching the phone?!only from active sync

OK do you have HardSPL installed? That is a must to flash ROM!
Also who is your carrier? Do they have official ROM? If so, install that one, and that should install no matter what! Install ROM using SD Card method! Read Wiki for that.
well i guess i got hardspl i put it before.
second i dont have the offical rom where do i get it?

You're not gonna get any help with that attitude buddy!! Just flash a different rom or go to the xdawiki and read.
Please read the wiki / stickies before creating a new thread. All of the answers to these questions are well documented.

Hi everyone i am new here i just recently upgraded from a g1 to the touch pro 2 i have loaded the hardspl and newest radio but i cannot get a custom rom installed i have followed all the steps when i try ove computer it always says my ruu cannot open my rom and when i try by sdcard the bootloader screen starts to load sum #"s pop up but then it aborts and i think it says no file found or sumthn like that i have renamed the file RHODIMG.nbh and nuthn...can someone please help? maybe direct me to an custom ruu for a gsm..i would greatly appreciate any help...thank you..

i have gone thru it step by step and have the hard spl-0.85. 01 iNex, my radio is 4. 49. 25. 57...iven even used the custom ruu that is provided in the thread but it doesnt seem to work with any of the roms ive downloaded from here...and when i go thru sdcard it starts loading then i get a string of numbers at the top of screen 0068sumthn and then just stops and says nomfile i believe it switches really fast my card is formatted to fat 32 but nuthn...i really wna upgrade to another rom im really into it i have upgraded to wm 6.5 and it worked with the shipped ruu...if u could direct me to sum roms that have a ruu in the same folder id greatly appreciate it...and THANK YOU VERY MUCH for responding i didnt think id get one...
Hey guys, today i attempted to root my HTC MAGIC 32A, and install KingKlick's 2.1 Eclair with HTC Sense for Magic v1.1. The rooting went fine, and i partitioned the sd card using the recovery tool (I followed this guide and used the downloads in that: www~theunlockr~com/2009/08/29/how-to-root-the-htc-magic-in-one-click/) for some reason, the device wont boot, and i tried wiping and reinstalling the update rom, with no success, it just stalls at the boot screen. Now i see that i did make the mistake of not updating my radio, which is at 3.22~ something, and im not sure my sd card was CAT 6. so i dont know what to do know. I can still access the recovery root menu , and was wondering what is the next step from here, or how do i return to the stock 1.5 cupcake firmware.
Anybody's insight is greatly appreciated

2nd. downloaded some rom (RUU_Leo_S_HTC_WWE_3.14.40) installed that perfect .
3rd Installed Radio_Leo_2.15.50.14
.... now what ? i dont know what to do next like i cant install any cab file for example i like cookie home but i cant can someone please tell me what im doing wrong and what i have to do next for changing all my look icons themes please help gone mad

Find yourself a good rom and flash that to your phone. Are you stuck on WM6.5? You can now flash Windows Phone 7 or Android to your phone and completely replace what's on the phone today. If you want to stick with Windows Mobile, check out the following.

Just restart sir.
You may not use HSPL in combination with stock ROM 3.14
Nether did you need to install radio 2.15.50 because he is integrated into stock ROM 3.14!
So first get start to remove HSPL, and than install stock ROM 3.14 correctly. (you will see, you will have less of troubles)

I have unlocked HTC Desire HD,
It is unlocked.
One of my friends rooted it (although i don't understand what it means) and installed Clockwork Recovery Mod 3....
I have a system update for 2.3
I downloaded it and when I try to install it, system reboots and stops with triangle and exclamation mark inside it with android robot picture.
How can I completely remove this clockwork thing? I already uninstalled ROM manager. But when i do factory reset, this thing always appears....
please help!!!

A week ago I had the same problem .. after long searches I found the following solution: from tis site ,il trie to send to you via pm! I downlodad a room and I installed and then I managed to do update .... I hope to be helpful .. you how to install: After you got on your site above the specified version of software in .exe ,connect the phone to computer via USB and in your computer click 2times on the .exe rom and follow the instructions ,at the end of the process you shoud be abel tu upgrade ... if everything goes right! luck.
