A2DP Instalation problem

Hi,
I just got my first smartphone a while ago.. It's an O2 XDA (Qtek3130).
I have a bluetooth headset and I want to use it to listen to music to with the phone.. I downloaded tornado_a2dp.zip but when I want to install the .cab file it tells me that the file connot be installed because it does not have sufficent system permission.. Now I think is has a lot 2 do with the rom.. As I read that I have to update it... But the problem is:
1) I don't know how to install a new rom..
2)I don't know where to get the right one..
Ah ja one more question when i install a new rom are all the O2 features gone from my phone or what will be changed... and can I make a backup of the one thats on the phone right now?
I hope some one can help me here...

Just need to unlock the phone. I think it's called application unlock.
Look at Karhoe's sticky thread at the top of the forum. Follow the directions and don't take the step to flash binfs, it's unlocked. Keep going to flash a new ROM.

Install New Guava ROM

Hello There everybadoy...!!
Ive saw the New Guava ROM... And good damn its amazing.! But my problem is that i am realy a JURK to work out these kind off things...! So could anyone help me to install it, i will be very happy...
If someone could make a very good guide - Hot to install and where to put all the files in the zip and so on...! Please help me

Let me guess, you didn't even try to search???

If you never flashed a cooked Rom you have to do USPL, there is a sticky about that.

Either your download is corrupt or you didn't do USPL correct! Isn't there a readme in the New Guava package? If not read the USPL thread carefully on how to do it!

Well now ive got all installed but it didnt chance anything at all...!! It looks like the normal themes and so on..!

Okay ive got so far that ive finish and installed the rom...! Now when i am trying to put the DANISH into it... Then i can go to step 3 and then it ask me to open new guava... When i do that i get this pic....

I have cheecked that the files are in the maps..!! What can i do.?!

Oh, just select those files und Splash and OS and it'll work!

The update Utility can not open the requested..... and so on..!?!

Help-phone is not responding-Problem solved

Hi,yesterday I flashed a new rom for my wizard.
the rom is:TNT.20273_Professional_Wizard_HTC_Home_FREE
after the first reboot(soft restart)the phone is stuck in the first splash screen(where you see the IPL/SPL), even hard reset is not working(Comm manager+voice button+reset).
what can I do-please help!!!

go into bootloader mode and flash with wizard love rom thats the rom every wizard owner should have ,,and also remember before flashing to any rom 1st flash to wizard love rom

how to go into bootloader mode?
and where to get love rom from?

keep camera button in while switching phone on ,,,,and use the search option
to find the love rom

o.k I figure out the bootloader part.
but now how to flash a new rom to it?

well as you said I went into the bootloader mode.
got the love rom from somewhere around here
flashed it(the installation is in Itlain I think which was somehow wierd )amd that is nowI have the love rom.
I'm currently at work so I only have vista around here.
when I'll get home I try to reflash the wm 6.1 rom again.

ok so before flashing ,1st run softspl thn flash ,well thats what i do cos if i dont it always fail.ok so wen you run softspl wait till the screen turns white then run ruu and flash ya wizard dude,btw whr do you work what country

yeahh that what I did.
I think what messed it up was that I tried to install ahh let's say unauthorized hebrew package(I'm from Israel) and after it messed it up I searshed the net and found that it can cause things like that.

but how can I know what is safe for me?
I mean-I already know for sure I have a G4 device(I used the wizard service tool ).but how do I know if I have cid unlock or not?and how do I know what method to use?(i.e. soft/hard)?
And also I wanted to ask if you can recommend on a good rom for me?

ok as you can see me also anewbie i only use g4 safe roms ,also got a g4 device ,if you can use more than one operator on your device its unlocked ---cell operator,,,i neva go for hardspl just soft not sure what the results are for hardspl ---so i keep clear for now ,will investigate and get bck to u,,,,the rom that i like the most is WIZFLO it got the diamond touch interface and a cool photo zooming thing ,lot off apps preinstalled another rom is slim diamond project also cool rom

no sound after flashing rom

hi guys i need your help i flashed my tilt with the rom of wm 6.5 flame.
and its working ok but i dont have sound its in maxsimum volume and noting cant hear music and no taping aswell.
i already did hard reset but still dont work what else can i do?!

you need to flash a different radio
do a search for radios or look in the kaiser wiki

You flashed an appropriate rom.

oki installed another rom and now i cant even start the windows how can i delete everyting i did and make to the first place? even after hard reset still dont come up

its the tpc elite setires rom its stuck on htc main screen the phone is on becuase i can call him and he rotate but i dont see noting
how can i uninstalled this rom without tuching the phone?!only from active sync

GUYS HELP ME NEED THE PHONE and i cant do noting!!!

OK do you have HardSPL installed? That is a must to flash ROM!
Also who is your carrier? Do they have official ROM? If so, install that one, and that should install no matter what! Install ROM using SD Card method! Read Wiki for that.

well i guess i got hardspl i put it before.
second i dont have the offical rom where do i get it?
3 how i intall rom with sd card?

You're not gonna get any help with that attitude buddy!! Just flash a different rom or go to the xdawiki and read.

Please read the wiki / stickies before creating a new thread. All of the answers to these questions are well documented.

[Q] help im nearly there !! hero 2.1 help needed custom rom

Hi all, ok wow im nearly there i think, im trying to install my custom rom and from the official instructions number 3 which is "Plug your phone into your computer and select "USB-MS toggle" in recovery
Place the Custom ROM on your SD card in the main directory and press Home when it has finished copying over" I cant see the bit saying "usb-ms toggle" in recovery, can anybody help me please, hope not a noob question but i am new to this and i surely must be nearly there, also once ive installed the custom rom what do i do next, ie any info help please on what i can do..

help nearly there with chronos rom and htc hero 2.1
Ok, ive now managed to root the htc hero and install the chronos rom, but when i select it through my phone in recovery all im getting is a "chronos" across the phone and its not loading, i had to take the battery out for 15 mins and reinstall my original backup, any help please why "chronos 2.4.4 is not loading correctly ? thankyou and hope to hear soon from
