My game '180' action-puzzler, Today's Featured Android App on Amazon! - Android Apps and Games

It's true! Our flagship title was selected by Amazon to be their featured FREE Android app today (LINK) and in just a few short hours it's rocketed to their #1 spot.
If you aren't wanting to DL it from Amazon, you can grab a free (ad-supported) version of the full game on the Android Market here. To disable ads and unlock all features from this version, simply play it and fill up the progress bar on the title screen!

GAMEPLAY:
180 is an insane flipping match-3 drop action puzzle game! Launch coins into three-in-a-rows to clear the vertically-descending board. Play alternate colors by flipping coins 180 degrees at any time. Create incredible combos and be rewarded with HUGE scores - just don't let the coins touch the red line at the bottom, or it's game over!
Here's a YouTube video showing the gameplay when it gets quite hectic (starts slow to show the mechanics, about 20 seconds in it will go wild)

Awesome concept! I love the idea of playing the game enough to disable ads and unlock the full features. Still gets you some revenue and people who like the game get more out of it.
I just downloaded it, I'm going to try it out! Thanks.

Hey, thanks! Yeah, I knew we needed to try a different approach to monetize (not only on Android, but for mobile in general). Still working out the kinks, but people generally seem pretty receptive to this idea - and if they are happy, and I am happy, then that's not a bad thing right?
Worcestor eh, I am from Framingham! (well, in Hollywood these days)

I'm curious. Financially, is it a good thing for you that Amazon is giving your app away free today?
How's that work out for you?

I'll let you know! Our app has been available on Android for a couple of months now. The free version has got shy of 20k downloads, and the paid has got about 100. You do the math (altogether, the money has been fairly negligible). As a tiny developer with next-to-zero visibility, it is in my interest at this point to try and get my app in the hands of a huge amount of people in a small amount of time, and ideally some "chart stickiness" (for my ad-supported version) and word-of-mouth might come of this. Otherwise, it's just a slow and steady slump into oblivion.
When I've done things like this before, it has helped. I got quite high on the iPhone charts before; it got me meetings with fairly high-level people, so it does make me feel as if I am on the right track. In the short term, maybe it's not really a guarantee of anything, but then I never expected much from the short term economically as an independent developer.

Hi there,
Neat concept, unfortunately I can't test it out as it crashes immediately and without even an FC box on my Nook Color (running CM7). It gets as far as the message "Loading High Definition graphic assets" and then poof.
I've tried this both with and without the WiFi on. Any suggestions?
Thanks!

that is disappointing! try to hit the (hardware) options button before "loading hi-res" comes up and select low res - let me know how that works out. I've heard reports of it being fine on nook, previously...

I too am gettin force closes without a force close window. I'm on a galaxy tab.
I can't get it to go into the options before it crashes...

Game is working great on my Evo!
I ended up getting it from Amazon, so I took a shortcut to getting the full features. It's a great little game to take up some time. The different game modes are accommodating no matter how much or how little time you want to spend on your phone. I saw a review from a colorblind person who was able to enjoy your game above all others because of your design. Nice work!
Hollywood is practically the polar opposite of Framingham, you've gone a long way!

Glad you are enjoying it I will ask a favor, of anyone who grabbed it on Amazon - now that the app has returned to it's paid status, if you wouldn't mind grabbing the Free Demo on Amazon (here) and just leaving a review that would be a big help to me. I am hoping to up it's profile a little (currently got nuthin') and hopefully the Average Amazon Customer (re: doesn't want to buy stuff) will note the high marks the Full's got, and grab the Free instead. If I can get a little traction with it, then the Free could conceivably get some chart stickiness. All I want is a little exposure!
For those hungering for some deeper strategy out of what looks to be a "simplistic, familiar game," I mentioned the youTube video right?
As for Hollywood<>Framingham - why yes they are a bit different. I ended up out here because of the industry, and of course just a couple of years after my departure Boston becomes the next big hotbed for games (Guitar Hero, BioShock, Rockstar) - who knew!!!
EDIT: and for those with technical issues, I'll talk with the programmer and get back to you shortly..

[GAME] Horror Run! A new game we published just now.

Hey everyone.
We're currently working on a cool little game, first version is already out in the market. It's called 'Horror Run!' (name is a bit meh, but it works..).
There are a lot of ideas floating around to improve the game and we'd like your help for more ideas!
You can read about the game in our blog, or download it from the market to try it out (it's free).
Let me know what you think, any comments and criticism are welcome, and the negative are surely better put here and not in the market itself
We're especially looking for ways to make it more addictive and a bit more versatile. Right now a global high score system is our first priority for next version
But any idea is welcome, and if you like the game and think something is missing don't hesitate to post
Thanks!
========================
UPDATE: An update was just released to the market. It adds OpenFeint support for global leaderboards - we feel that was the most sought after feature so we used the (very) little time we had to work on that and it's finally done.
Again we're like to thank everyone here at XDA for supporting us and downloading the game, as well as providing invaluable feedback. keep it up

u can actually do double jump by press jump twice.. or jump+roll to make it dash while jumping.. u can also try double jump and roll which usually result in suicide..

it's an okay game.. definitely not 1st of its kind but the added graphic makes it nicer than some others similar game.. but the problem is its getting pretty boring after awhile... maybe u could give more type of obstacle like consecutive "double demons" or add obstacle that needed to be double-jumped to get through. or u can make a combo obstacle that won't allow the player to relax (after roll then the player must quickly jump then follow by double jump or whatsoever). of course it should be after a while the game started to added more difficulty...
i'm thinking an extra dash button would be nice to add.. adding more possible gameplay. so jump+dash would replace jump+roll.. jump + roll could be another action (such as immediately roll after jump). well, i'll leave it to ur imagination =p...
Great graphics but gets tiresome for me cause I keep dying
One touch and dead from a bat is a little harsh but the game is very challenging, lol. Really good job though just not my preferred type of game.
Downloading it now on my Galaxy S!
Awesome game, has a lot of potential. Runs great on my phone and graphics are good, only thing i'd change is the Menu graphics, make it a bit more pro .
But still, for a first release i'm impressed. I would change the 1 hit 1 die rule too, and add more levels/maps/objectives etc.
It's so fast I keep dying so quick lol
Fun game - good graphics.
Took me just 2 tries to figure out the controls. Not the most obvious icons, but they are in a obvious location ;-)
Looks awesome i will try it
Similar to Free Running (search Market) but more challenging and has more features. Also like Robot Unicorn Attack (see Facebook/Adultswim, I'm addicted to this game) in terms of game play.
Suggestions: background sound, sound effects, balance the game a bit (in terms of difficulty, sizes of enemies)
Downloaded the game.
First impression was nice graphics !
Personally i think the gameplay is to quick, i keep dieing, maybe a easy - normal - advanced setting ?
Your Game is ok but noting pretty special but it runs pretty fast on my Milestone 2.
Besides what about adding items e.g run faster or invisible.....
looks great and runs nice, im sure you will work out the little things, i wish i could program in java, my games would run much smoother, lol ive been using appinventor, i can get them to look pretty god, but gameplay sucks balls
Downloading now will report back soon
Phew, lots of comments after the nothingness of the first couple of days
Thanks for all the replies, great feedback, this is just what we need!
To the actual points:
I didn't realize it was that diffucult, I guess when you're the one making the game things seem easier
And Of course I'm well aware that the thing is repetitive to the point of being almost mundane - This is indeed a first version and a form to 'test the water' sort of speak. There are several ideas cooking to make it a bit more diverse.
Some things that will definitely make it into future versions:
1) Multiple lives before game over (already working)
2) Make the starting speed a tad slower (already working).
2) Add an easier difficulty level (probably main/only difference will be the starting speed to be even slower).
3) global highscore system using Feint or the likes, to make it a bit more social (Probably separate board for easy/hard).
Things I want to add if I overcome some obstacles (silly pun intended ):
1) More enemies and background pictures. Currently I'm having some memory and performance issues, trying to work it out. Might switch to OpenGL
2) Achievements, using Feint system probably - things like get 10K points without rolling a single time, get 10K points w/o collecting a single treasure item, get 10K points while collecting every single treasure item etc.
3) Bonus with special effects. Right now I'm thinking a shield and a special fly mode, but we'll see...
I'll try to professionalize the menu, but it's not easy when graphics it's not your profession
I'll release partial updates in the following weeks (at least the lives and easy mode are already mostly implemented so they could easily make it).
Hopefully the part time job and being a full time student won't hinder the progress too much and I'll be able to get some more meaningful updates soon after the exams are over (i.e. near the end of February).
Thanks again for all the input!
Really like the game, really addictive to break your own score, currently at 5030.
Works very well and stable, doesn't lag at all!
really like the sounds in the game.
Maybe an online scoreboard would be a nice feature?
I'm also wondering in what language this is programmed, just in Java with like a game development SDK?
Keep the games coming!!

[APP][BETA] PokeDroid--Multiplayer coming soonish!

From the depths of AP Computer Science comes...
PokeDroid--Multiplayer coming soonish!
Everyone's favorite Game Boy series comes to the little robot in your pocket with all 649 Pokemon, all their moves and abilities, and all the items!
Features include...
-Total team customization--EVs, IVs, moves, abilities, held items, gender, everything!
-Quick Battle for a simple skirmish or the endless Battle Tower to test your Pokemon mettle!
-All Pokemon, moves, abilities, and items from all games up to Black 'n' White!
-Super-duper open-source technology!
This is an open beta hosted on Sourceforge (http://sourceforge.net/projects/pokedroid/). Grab the code from CVS, take the newest nightly, dissect our code for your own benefit, all that jazz!
This being a beta, it isn't entirely functional.
What works:
-Battling from start to finish
-Team builder
-All Pokemon and their movepools
-Somewhat functional AI
-About half of the attacks
What doesn't:
-About half of the attacks
-Most abilities and items
-Some occasional force closes
-Animations (though these may never be implemented as that would take a LOT of time)
-Multiplayer is currently being worked on!
I've decided to stick with PokeDroid because it's not going on the Market anyway.
This was done for an AP Computer Science project, but it quickly took on a life of its own. We've been working on it since April-ish almost constantly. I learned Android from scratch from the Developer website and would love to teach anyone curious about Android programming.
The server is also available for donwload from the SourceForge download page, but is totally useless right now so don't waste your time

The newest semi-stable release is available on our SourceForge page.
If you're feeling daring, the newest "nightly" release can be downloaded straight from our CVS repo. It may or may not be buggier/have more features than the other download, so use at your own risk/reward.
Finally:
Send us bug reports/suggestions! We would love to hear from y'all and your opinions! All testing was done on 2 CM7 Galaxy S variants and a CM7 MyTouch 4G, but it should work on 2.1+ with any screen resolution. Since the Honeycomb emulator is ungodly slow, we were unable to test on it, but it should theoretically work. Once I get my TouchPad in the mail and it gets its Honeycomb/ICS port, I'll make sure it works on there, too.
Thanks for giving it a shot!
Ill have to check this out.

Thanks! How about "PokeBattleDroid"
Well, to be honest, I wonder how long it will take until Nintendo takes the project down They already took down the pokedex apps in the market :/
I hope they don't, looks like fun
Pokemon on Android perfect
I love Pokemon Looks really awesome!!
Downloading and trying it out now!
*Thumbs up*
how about Pokedroid Battles
I like the idea of this! I'm a little concerned about the legal usage of the characters and the names, but if you're not charging I don't know if they'd have any power over you.
As far as the name goes, I'd take it back to the roots. "Pocket Monsters" or "Pocket Monster Battle", I checked the Market and neither are registered names. Just to warn you, Nintendo did sue a company for naming their product "Monster In My Pocket" just for the similarity. You might want to get to renaming Blastoise to JeTurtle and Charizard to CharsUrFace
Nice idea but is FC Ing on the samsung galaxy s2 wegen klicking on quick battle.
how about "Droidmon"
Yooo Pokemon was onna my VERY FAVORITE and most addictive games as a child!!...y'all gotta make this official...beautiful idea dev's...will be testing and reporting!

if he could do that oh man that would make this pretty good
Thanks for the suggestions! It's still pretty buggy, sorry! Netplay will require us to learn netcode, something we'll probably do soon now that school's out. I've never gotten that particular FC before, do you have a logcat? If you aren't sure, submit a bug from the main menu (in the menu button popup). That automatically sends it to me. Yeah, we were gonna put it on the Market for free, so I don't know what they can do to us other than give us a C&D order. Making a new client for that project would probably require a complete rewrite of most of the battle logic, though we did think of doing something like that. If network play does manifest itself, it will probably be by IP rather than a matchmaking system because we don't have access to a server of our own. We'll see what we can do! Thanks again everybody!

My Thoughts and Ideas
I have a few things you can do to improve the app..
#1 - UI:
Give it a Android based feel to it. Drag down notifications when people want to battle you. Have a widget for the homescreen that will show your worldwide stats as they change.
#2 - Team Builder?
I don't think a team builder is the right approach because anyone can pick the best pokemon and just be awesome at battle. Make it a build you way up experience. Every first evolution pokemon is available (not including the legends) and develop a unlock system for the rares and legendary pokemon to be battled and caught.
#3 - Network approach
Make it a ALWAYS ON experience. You can have settings to allow when you want people to invite you to battle sessions and turn that option off when your too busy for any reason.
#4 - Other options (Not just single battling)
Add things such as Online Messaging, Pokemon Center (For a realistic pokemon healing experience), Buy Items (for healing in battle and buy pokeballs to catch pokemon)
#5 - Name
How about "PokeDroid Battle Center"
#6 - As always fix issues
Keep doing a good job to make it a stable and fun experience for all users but I find it best to start with a register and sign on kind of game but have the sign on be your one of the Gmail accounts built into your phone.
Keep up the good work
Okay, thanks for the suggestions! We'll keep those in mind as we keep working on it! Right now, our top priorities are fixing FC's and making all aspects of battle work (abilities, items, attack effects). Like I said before, the multiplayer options will be very scarce unless we can get our hands on a server to handle all of the global stats and matchmaking. But yeah, push notifications and chat and widgets would be really, really cool

Actually, it started with the paid Pokedex apps getting pulled but then they finally took down the free ones as well. TPC was the one behind all of the removals.
Interesting app, in time it'll grow into something pretty successful if you keep at it.

Easy to learn, hard to master. The concept is simple, remove all the blox from the board to move on. The challenge comes when not every block acts the same way.
Over 70 levels and 7 different and fun BLOX types (With more on the way)
Any feedback is welcome, good or bad. If you have any questions about the development process / time frames, let me know. I would be happy to answer.

v.1.0.3
Added a feature request, Grid Option! to toggle through 3 different Grids, Full, Border, and Off
Fixed a bug causing the game to force close in rare cases on exit.
Brilliant game, keep on it mate.
Sent from my Arc via transwarp beacon.
Well , I just saw this thread, just installed it, and just tried the game.
And I must say, it's amazing! Simple yet entertaining, just the way I like it.
My guess is it will be very popular soon!
Tested on Galaxy S2, ICS ROM, works flawlessly, didn't encounter any errors, or FCs, although I didn't get past the 4th level ( feeling sleepy )
My experience and opinions, criticism and whatnot
+ The game starts up very fast!
+ The transitions are really nice in the world/level picker.
+ Music is really nice and not too boring, though I would prefer something jazzy
and slower ingame ( a lot of clouds )
maybe something like : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Nf8FCLT8S6A
+ Help is drawn pretty nice, although it should point out that you need at least 3
blocks together for them to dissapear
+ text Font is awesome and fits well, so does the rest of the graphics
+ I love the concept of the game, nothing simillar out there
+ Block animations are awesome too
- I dont like preview thumbnails on level picker, they all look the same, maybe
some nice icons or something ?
- I didn't check the other worlds yet nor levels past the 4th but it seems they all
have the same 3 clouds + sun background. It got boring after 2 minutes
Maybe night/day cycle or something, shouldnt be too hard Would even look
nicer with a moon there and a dark background
Maybe the preview thumbnails will look better when the levels have different
backgrounds
Gonna play with it tommorow some more and edit this post if I find something that I like/don't like
Great job mate! Cheers!
Edit : Added smilies to the post, it wouldn't add the first time for some reason

Amazing feedback, thanks!
As to your light criticisms, I am in the process of trying to incorporate a more friendly level structuring. As in, you won't have to just play 1 level until you beat it, you will have more levels open to you. And part of this process might be changing the menu system around.
As far as the graphics go, you may be SHOCKED to learn, but I did all the graphics myself, hehe
It probably doesn't need to be said, but I am no good at graphics, my idea would be to make each world look different, so you are not looking at the same thing all the time. But drawing things that don't hurt people's eyes is very tough.
I had originally considered making the game go to night time, you may not have noticed, but the sun actually moves. And when it gets to the other side, it just switches back. At that point I wanted to make it moonlight, but I couldn't draw anything that didn't make my eyes bleed. But you have convinced me to keep trying.
I will keep at it though, thanks for the info.
This game is awesome, please keep it updated

Thanks for the support,
I am working on a big update. Probably due out next week, or the week after. So get your feature requests / suggestions in!
Very clever game, I like how the difficulty varies from level to level.
Sometimes I think a level is too hard, and then I realize it only took 2 moves.
I will also mimic the above poster and say you need a help screen that shows you only need 3+. took me a few seconds to realize that on my own.

Maybe have another info screen on the second level showing the same thing but with just 3? Although it wasn't too hard for me to figure out on my own.
I am stuck on level 25, has to be impossible! I love the little tie-die looking dudes, neat mechanic.
Thanks for the kind words.
I am planning on updating how the level structure works, Anyone have any suggestions? I would like to implement a method in which you don't have to progress one level at a time. So if you get stuck, you have other levels open to keep on playing.
v.1.0.4
Updated the level order. I found too many people failing earlier, changed the levels to have a better difficulty curve.
Enjoy!

[GAME][1.6+] Ringi v1.1.0 ... works on all android devices! Ask for a free unlocker!

-update-
Ringi should now work on all android devices!
-/update-
Hi everyone!
I finally have my first android game up to a point where I can show it to the world I've always wanted to make games, and have been making them in my spare time for a while, but this is the first real, complete one I'm showing to the world. I'm a bit proud (everything 100% done by me), but also apprehensive considering all the different devices out there and what can go wrong So you guys are the first to see it in action! Where else but the place where I got into mobile phones in the first place?
Anyway, the game's called Ringi and you have to rotate rings using your fingers to bounce a ladybug off flowers and ensure the ladybug doesn't go outside of the rings. Some flowers slow you down, others speed you up and others do different things, so use them wisely
I think it's quite fun and addictive (in a kind of teris/breakout/puzzle bobble-y way), but I'd love to hear what XDA thinks about it.
Anyway, here's what it looks like:

There's two modes to play with (leveled and continuous) and three styles to choose from (although I like the default best ).
You can iplay the full game, with a level/time limit (mods, let me know if this is OK to post in this section!) .... but seeing as I'm asking for feedback, it's free unlockers all 'round! Well, I'll make a selection of the posters here and email/send via pm a free unlocker! I don't have a limit in mind, we'll just see if there's any interest to begin with
Anyway, here's the link:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.LifeBoat.Ringi
If you like it, let me know, but more importantly, if you don't, please let me know why not! I'm open to ANY suggestions
And if you find any errors, I don't want to know about it. But tell me anyway, 'cause it means I've screwed up somewhere
-edit 04/09/12-
I've reworked memory management again so now tablets and phones with large screens (>800x480) and lower heap memory should run the game too! Google Play should soon be updating to v1.1.0!
-edit 17/8/12-
v1.0.11: it appears all bugs and FCs have been fixed! Thank you, everyone who stuck with the game for so long!
-edit 13/8/12-
OOPS! Made a dumb mistake in packaging v1.0.8. Please pretend it never happened Nine is the new eight
-edit 12/8/12-
For some strange reason a bitmap which should have been created as mutable wasn't on some devices/android builds. This is now fixed (or at least ensured not to happen). OutOfMemory issues were fixed in the previous update, so now Ringi should work for everyone!
-edit 11/8/12-
Did a large rewrite on the rendering code and on the way bitmaps are created and cleaned up. As a result, Ringi now uses a lot less memory and runs better. Devices with lower heap memory should now be able to start and actually play the game, and do so with better fps.
As usual, PM me your email adress for a free unlocker!
Guys, almost 250 views and not one download? Or even a comment?
Dr, I don't who you are, but pm me your email adress and I'll send you an unlocker! Thanks!
Might be good.
Will test it out on my tablet when I get home

I like this game a lot!
If this is one of your "early" games, I can't wait to see what you'll come up with in a years time
cwillison94, check your pm
And, Lesicnik1, thank you; I have "plans" Oh, man, do I have some cool ideas ... and I say that as a gamer. Three fully fleshed out, too ... just gimme a sound guy, one or two artists, a pr dude and some money (and with enough money, a finance geek would be nice, too)
It's just that I was laid off last week (they lost an account, LIFO, plus job didn't really fit with my capabilities, so don't be too sad) and I still have to pay rent and food ... so don't expect those games just yet
I'm looking for people with a Galaxy Nexus running Jelly Bean and /or a HTC EVO 4G LTE who also have aLogCat installed. Apparently there's a problem with Ringi on these devices, but I'm not getting any error reports sent in via the Google Play dev console. So if someone with those device could post their aLogcat log here, you'd be doing me a huge favour!
I know it's bad form to self bump, but is there truly no-one who wants to help out? Just a quick aLogcat, really!
Tested it for you. I'm running aokp milestone 6 on HTC Sensation.
Seems a bit laggy. The sound works fine. Under the tutorial the "done" bubble/cloud is placed over the actual instructions so you can't read all of it, maybe make it smaller and put it in a lower corner maybe.

Looks Good, Wish I could play it. I get a FC when I "Tap To Play". Running Sony Tablet S with stock ICS.
Thank you, Cj, for upping a crashreport from the game! Hopefully the OutOfMemory issue is fixed now!
Thanks i really like this game,
But when i open the toturial i get this:
Im using a sony xperia ray with ics 4.0.4
HAAAAAAX!!!
Ah...that's not exactly what I was going for! Thank you for taking the trouble of taking a screenshot; that really helps!
I'll go see if I can't fix that
I just downloaded the game for my sgs3 using cm9 and everything worked until I tapped the center to start at which point it did a force close. This happens every time.
Update: The game works if I set style to Segments. Flowers or Neon force closes. Nice game.
That's really strange ... could you report the error from the game, or maybe even install aLogcat and paste the error here (it's in red in aLogcat). I don't really understand why it would work in segments mode and not with the flowers ... I mean, I could understand if it didn't work in flower mode, but did in Segments and Neon, but not working in Flowers and Neon?
Well, I'll check it out, but a crash log would REALLY help
OK, I've added some fixes; hopefully the game should work on more devices now!
Do you have a direct download, the market is showing an error, possibly because I've changed my dpi from stock?

It could be because I just updated the game ... give it another try. If it still doesn't work, shoot me a PM with your email and I'll send it to you.

After three years of hard development me and my friend finally finished our first game. It would be awesome if you could try it and give us some feedback for future updates.
In 60 exciting seconds you have to find challenging combinations of three cards. Create a series of cards fast enough to be rewarded a higher score and other extras. Use the cards with diamonds to multiply your score or earn a Joker power-up, which will find you an instant set. But watch out for the bombs before they wreck your game board!
The matches in this game do not have to be exact. Shapes match if their color, number, pattern or figure are either the same or all different.
The game has two game modes, one with fixed cards and one with scrolling cards. You have to complete both to finish the level. In each mode you can earn 3 stars at max; 4 stars are required to progress to the the level. This version has 75 different levels with changing deck cards and win-conditions. Game of Threes grants you hours of challenging playtime.

Just played this thing for a few minutes. I have to say WOW. I like it. I can see it becoming addictive. Took a minute to wrap my head around all the possible sets, but after a couple of timeouts, I was on a little bit of a roll. Play is good. The display doesn't seem to be too straining to stare at. Very well put together. Looking forward to more !
cool game
cool game
Hey guys great work on the game, I played briefly while waiting for my wife in the car. Really like the concept and design.
A couple of things I would give as recommendations.
1) the map is a little cluttered, there's too much going on, I would try and find a way to optimize the layout a little bit.
2) G+ with cloud saving is a must due to many people owning more than one device such as a tablet or another phone, etc...
3) expand the tutorial a little bit, make levels for people to.understand the concept, don't just write which combinations work as there's a lot of them and just reading is overwhelming, have 2/3 levels by
Staying with type of combination and introduce 1 more on the next level until all combinations have been tried.
Good luck,

Thnx for the feedback!
1. Yeah, that screen got a little out of hand. There are so many resources it's hard to change anything without making it very time consuming.
2. We'll look into that.
3. Good point, we already figured it would be better to embed the tutorial into the game play, but again that's going to take up quit some time, which we don't have much of
Thnx again.
So we released the game on the 27th of November last year. Now, two months after we got a little over 1200 users. We build in Google Analytics and now we know people like to play the game. They actually return and keep playing. Statistics can be found here.
Now what? Most of the 1200 users are from the Netherlands, we had some publicity on a dutch site and got most of our users that way. All the big international sites ignore us or ask for money. Is there anybody out there who knows a thing about marketing your game internationally? Without spending a gazillion euro's, the game is free and got no ads so we're not willing to invest, yet.
Working on a new stage with a story line and new features by the way.
Some feedback would be awesome, really awesome.
Thanks in advance.
