Hello! Does anyone have a cool boot animation (and a little how to install it is more than welcome ;-) )?
I just want to get rid of my cariers one (I'm S-OFF, perm rooted)

I'd love a cool one too. I REALLY hate the tmobile one that comes stock. Also can't wait for some custom lockscreen rings!!! hint hint...............

Our EVO 3D boot animations are in /system/customize/resource I think it's a safe bet your guy's are, too
Delete the files that end in _bootanimation.zip and put your new one in /system/media/

Just reflash ROM on top.

Well ,i reflash on top but it has not removed all ... still remain a pic i can see when i reboot.

Same problem here... I've done every kinda wipe and even flashed a few diff Rome. But it still shows up

It changes boot animation, removing htc animation boot ...

I think Im not sure but your saying that you wanna change the boot animation? When you have a custom rom some of the boot animations are already in there... I personally havent changed mine and Im using CoreDroid... I would like to find out how to change it... There is an old version of insert coin that I use... I think its Insert Coin 1.0.9 and I can change all of that and the phone is still very quick... If you are talking about the image before your boot animation that would be your splash logo that you can change by going here

If you flash rom on top you will change only bootanimation not splash. You have to do it manually for example from terminal.

Just flash another bootanimation.zip and replace splash image/first boot image .

Yes i did it with a soft i found to splash, and it's ok now !! thanks a lot all of you guys.

What is the stock splash image ? Can I simply delete current insert coin ugly splash ??

you can get rid of it by installing any stock rom

Splash Screen

Im looking to remove the white splash screen from startup... Id like something in black, any help would be appreciated!

I use the chainfire live demsg log. It's black. Available in the google playstore.

pretty sure thats a bootanimation not a splash screen.

You can't change the splash screen without s-off

i know this, but dont think the op did so good answer. i should have said that earlier!!!! nice.

I don't have s-off just unlocked bootloaders, recovery and root, flashed the files and my splash image and boot animation is now the black one

NEED help Splash screen

I am getting the new htc one, but I'm trading my htc one x in and I think I should put it back on original rom, but I changed my splash screen but I didn't make a backup of it first can anyone help me ?
basically i need htc one x's stock splashscreen.
