[Q] android apps on htc HD2 with windows phone 7? - HD2 Windows Mobile 6.5 Themes and Apps

Is there any way to download and install android apps onto the htc hd2 (WP7 installed)?

No, unless there is a version of that app available in Windows Phone 7.

No chance, because Windows Mobile, Windows Phone 7 and Android are different Operation Systems which are not compatible to each other.

You could download them to the PC, then transfer them to your device in USB storage mode.
But HOW can i download them?

You mean from the Market Place? I would suggest installing the Android Emulator on your PC then download an Android Virtual Machine that has the Android Market installed and voila!(start downloading). Then you can extract the APKs from your virtual machine.
I dont know about the emulator, thanks!

Run Windows XP on HTC Explorer

Hello ,
I got my HTC Explorer A310e last week and I wonder if I can run Windows XP on it .
I bought it from Amazon where :
Recommended Windows System Requirements
* Windows® 7, Windows Vista®, or Windows® XP
* HTC Sync

I search on forum and on google but not found .
Thanks .
You mean the actual device itself? No. It's possible, but to my knowledge, no-one has created software for the HTC Explorer to do so, let alone all the other types Android devices.
You can try this, No guarantees this'll work though.
When they say "Recommended Windows System Requirements", they mean your desktop PC should have these specifications as in your desktop PC should run Windows XP, Windows Vista or Windows 7 as it's operating system.
Hey , thanks for your reply .
I wanted to replace Android with Windows XP .
I install Windows 95 with Bochs but had some graphic error that's why I tried to install as main OS .
Other Info :
I remove HTC sense this morning to speed up my phone , now I'm going to try to run XP with Bochs .

Thanks again .
Is it really working in HTC
Bochs with Windows XP ?

The Solution my friend is to buy them from the market place
This is the only solution, firstly because this is XDA developers and piracy isn't tolerated
Secondly, MS encrypted the marketplace which stopped the use of these programs for any legitimate or illegitimate reasons. So, Buy them.
If you have brought them an you are wanting a backup of the XAP then this is still possible, XAPs can be made from installed apps.
decrypted official programs from marketplace

yup, this should let you backup installed apps as XAPs allowing you to install them In one go later, it also seems to backup the data sections of these apps too.
Ive yet to play with this but it seems like a good idea, I was helping a chap months ago with something like this but was PC based. Its very handy but you have to wonder if it wouldn't be better just to make a complete zune backup...
Thanks for your reply, Program Manager, all backups save score games ? ^^
If yes you are the best !

You can't directly install Windows on an Android tablet, but you can certainly use it on one. Here's how to use Windows on an Android tablet.
