[Issue] short in left audio channel

Sometimes when i am listening to music the left channel will short out on my headphones. Going on and off.... would this be a software problem by any chance?

Are you sure your headphone cord isn't the problem by trying it in another source and swinging it around?
Sorry if this seems like an insulting question, just checking the easy answer.

Volume being very low....

The volume on my g2x was awesome the first two days I had it. Now its very low even with the volume turned all the way up. I can barely hear it anymore. Any thoughts?

I noticed this as well. Sound on calls is very low, when I listen to Pandora it is very low. I used to have a Mytouch Slide and when I listened to Pandora in my car my car radio was at volume 14 and it was loud. With the G2x playing Pandora in my car my car radio is on like 24 to match the same loudness as my Mytouch Slide on volume 14. This is with the G2x volume on max. Really disappointing. I did see a thread somewhere on here about changing the volume through a hidden menu but the values were hexadecimals or something and I'm not sure what they should be tweaked to. If anyone has any insight please share!
The app listed below works great for sound through the headphone jack.

Does this work for bluetooth headsets as well? I noticed that was quite low as well with headset volume on max and phone on max.
I haven't tried it, but if I had to guess I'd say no.

DTS is only available for when your watching videos or music. Does not effect call volume or anything else.

I see. Thanks
I rebooted my phone and the volume seemed to fix it self. Also I had to pull the battery out after charging while on because it was just a black screen. Any thoughts?

It was the dts. It defaults to on. I'm pretty sure.

I had the exact same low volume problem. Removing the battery fixed the sound issue too.. I got a new phone anyway which also fixed my slow to connect problem.

Unfortunately, to answer a question earlier in the thread, it does not work with bluetooth; in fact, it mutes the sound completely over bluetooth when it is enabled.

So what do I tell them when I walk in the store? I have not had anymore problems since then. Is this a problem that will occur again? Just trying to see what are my options.

Yes. Tell the almost of the malfunction and say you just want a working phone. And you need the speaker to work. And you paid for a phone with a working speaker as advertised.

I did. I configured it different ways, listening to music after each change and didn't notice any difference in volume.
Now this was through the speaker and not headphones.
Does it only work for headphones.

Yes sir and speakers you use from headphone output
.......infuse.....Infused....infusion.........
Headphones only. Some devices seem to have a "speaker tuning" feature that affects the speaker, but ours doesn't.
OK. I see now.
Thanks guys
