[Q] Help with screenshot/rooting

Hey guys! I'm a complete noob to all this! Lol. So Could someone please help with how to take a screenshot on the sensation 4g? Or someone guide me step by step on how to root the phone using "temp root"?
Thank you guys!
Unfortunately you need root to take a screenshot. Its possible via the app "ShootMe" which is available in the Market.
To obtain temp root you need adb installed with necessary drivers. Then you simply visit any thread that offers temp root and run the batch command file; it does it all for you.

You can check this thread for some instructions:

Temp root and then use Drocap2 from the market, works fine here.

Yeah thanks guys! But how exactly do I do the temp root? Coz it just seems to be too complicated and difficult. So could someone guide me step by step if possible? I'm using a windows 7 laptop. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thank you!

deleted system

I accidentally in my samsung galaxy gt-i9070 with root idiot browser because system folder deleted. Can it start no longer is but also clearly because Yes the system is away. So far I need I now a rom if I lie correctly on each if I need help so I the handy again in gang wars thank you times in advance.
First of all, I sympathize with your sufferings which tell us NEVER accidentally delete anything using root explorer. Secondly, I think you should search for a ROM yourself in this big forum cuz only you are fully acquainted with what your phone needs. If you can neither find a ROM nor find a person to give you a ROM, you'd better go to ask those who sold you the phone for help and it won't take you too much time or money, considering it isn't a hardware damage at all. Thanks.

So I understand correctly I need a rom? If yes you can because link post währe very great of dier thousand thanks.
help me
could someone please help me because I would hate that it ends up in the garbage, and I buy a new. Please please help me!
check this post it will help you to install firmware http://www.teamandroid.com/2012/06/...-to-android-2-3-6-xxle2-gingerbread-firmware/
So you where rooted... Than in your download folder you'll still find some rooted things, so your warenty is void. You SHOULDN'T go to the ones who sold you the phone cause they'll find out! I suggest you find the stock rom and root after you reinstalled it. Can you flash your phone correctly?

Don't say z4root won't work, it never works unless you're on eclair. I'm saying you can't make a post simply stating something doesn't install on this forum, you gotta at least say "when I try to install it says 'application not installed'" or the like.
Like I said before, you shouldn't expect it to work anyways, so why make a post saying it won't work? Don't tell me how was I supposed to know that, because googling z4root will yield you some results from 2 or 3 years ago.
I also suggested you try unlock root and superoneclick, because the poster before you said to try superoneclick as well and my translation of your post was that you chose to ignore that suggestion.

Ick sorry I didn't mean to be rude the first time and I get pissed easily thanks to my hot head. Let's make up and forget I ever acted like an ass.
I did forget SoC and unlock root require drivers (Duh, it needs to connect to the computer :banghead: ) but either one should definitely work.

[Q] To root or not to root..thats the question!

Hey guys,
since more than a month i am using the xperia active from Sony Ericsson and i ve still guarantee on it.
It s an awesome smartphone, but sometimes the RAM is overloaded and it starts to lag.
Then the battery works for just a day, because of the background-apps, then i ve to charge it again... really annoying
Thats why i want to root my smartphone. Actually i ve ICS(4.0.4) on it (before it was 2.3 or sth.) and i would like to keep it, but on it i want superuser rights. Therefore i found "zergrush" from doomlord, but in other threads i just read thats for Android 2.2/2.3 ...
Is it possible to root my phone without loosing my guarantee (to make root "nearly" unseen after unroot, in case of warranty) on that device?
(sorry for my bad english, i hope you understood my situation and give me some answers )
greetings Red
You can try rooting using Doomlords method for ICS
Flash a stock kernel of 4.0.3
Root it using Doomlords kit
PS its a batch file
Flash back 4.0.4 kernel
Done !!!

This is for Neo
But yours is also similar phone so might work
Try at your own risk
I am not responsible for any damage....
So read a few threads beforehand !

Noo, dont root. Youll get stuck in fastboot and spend $12 on repairs!
Sent from my LG-P350 using xda app-developers app
Whether you're going to root it or not is up to u. However, if u do root and u want to make it unseen or unroot, flashing an official stock rom removes the root data.
i read a thread that made a few things clear, i cant remember who posted it (sorry) but it just said that if they cant prove that u rooting your phone is the cause of whatever wrnt rong with your phone, they will still have to fix it under the warranty.
I also never heard of anyone messing up their android as a result of rooting.
Im not saying jump into it and root your android, be careful as we are always warned that their are risks onvolved and developers knows best

For sure root it´s the best option for anyone that like to customize the system.
You should try superoneclick its a program which basically roots your your phone for you, gives you superuser and there shouldn't be drastic changes to your OS either
google it and download then go to youtube and follow a tutorial such as youtubeDOTcom/watch?v=lD4_wAj1WIY (sorry cant post links yet)
As for warranties I'm not sure but this is the safest and easiest method I'm aware of
but you should probably make sure it works on your phone and make a backup before you try it

Bricked for life?!

OK. so i watched the noob video before doing all this i just wanna say i tried my best...
so i have rooted 1 phone prior, to this Samsung galaxy s blaze attempt. it was successful.
but this one wasn't so fortunate. i searched your forums up and down and maybe its because i'm "special" according to the video.
i cant find anything on how to help me unbrick my phone.... here's what i did....
1. downloaded odin 1.85
2. downloaded blaze.pit file
3. downloaded blaze-root img file.
did the process word for word action for action. step by step,...
and this is where i failed. i didnt download CWM i didnt download super user...
and i did all this over ICS, which i read in other forums stating that all the things i was doing was wrong because i was following instructions for Gingerbread. which i dont have because i updated to ICS a few mnths ago.. i failed i admit i am a nub... now i need a veteran of android Ownage to save me!
'
my samsung galaxy s blaze 4g, gets stuck at the loading section of the start up. *blue bar loads all the way then it just stops at the end. nothing happns. ive waited and still nothing happns. lol im so sorry guys
plz help :'(
