[Q] Do I have to update a ROM in sequence? - General Questions and Answers

I am new to the android phones. I recently received a phone (HTC Eris) that was already rooted. It has KaosFroyo V37 on it. I would like to update to the latest version (39). So, my question is, Can I update directly to V39? Or do I have to install them in order?

Hello All, I'm brand new to this forums so i apologise if this has already been asked & answered.
Currently running a Telstra version,
Froyo 2.2
Model NUmber : GT-I9000T
Firmware Version : 2.2

[Q] Nexus s update

Hello!
are new to the forum, and I had a request for help and clarification from you.
I recently purchased the nexus as if originally fitted Android 2.3.3, so far I have not received any OTA update it to 2.3.4 above it ... how can I do to solve this problem?
I can go to 4.0.3 without going first to the previous ones??
look forward to your responses on!!
There is a stickied thread in general that has the links to all of the updates for the NS. Go to your specific phone model and download either the update (2.3.3 -> 4.0.3 or similar) or a full rom which can be flashed at any stage.

[Q]

Hi All,
I have recently bought a Motorola fire Xt530 mobile. Its running android 2.3.4, recently I noticed Motorola rolling out 2.3.5 for this model. I have below questions in my mind
Is this update worth?
Does anyone faced any application issues after this update?
Wat would be phones internal free memory after this update?
Also I didnt root my mobile. If I root it now, is it possible to use the motorolas official update 2.3.5 or other updates.
If the update is fine to go, please let me how to root it after this update? (Because I am not planning to go for custom ROMS, just root is fine to install default applications on my own).
Please clarify me.
Thanks.
Dinesh
