Well, it seems like on the phone it might be everything allright, because via 3G i can download apps, at home on WIFI i can download apps, but on WRT54GL at the office they just don't. I searched for all solutions online, contacted google, followed their suggestions about Talk and other things, but it didn't help.
Maybe i could get some advice from you that could help me solving the problem, maybe i need to do something on the router's (running Tomato 1.28) or on Sensation's side?
Thanks in advance
OK, with the new market app it works fine now
The Play Store has stopped working on my phone over our Linksys X2000 wifi. The same thing happened to the App Store on the iPad

Hi,
I have an Asus Tablet running Android Honeycomb v3.0.1. I have installed Google Earth v2.0.1 in it. But whenever I open the Google Earth Application, It waits on the main app screen for 15 seconds, then gives me this error message:
"Alert !
Google Earth can't connect to the network right now. Please quit and try again later."
Just FYI, I do have WIFI connected and running while opening this app. I have been getting this error since the time I bought my tablet (10 days ago). I have tried uninstalling and re-installing this app, but to no avail.
Waiting for a useful reply. Its a shame I am not able to access such a wonderful app on a nice 10inch screen.
Thanks.
2.0.1 works fine on mine. Strange.
Works fine for me too...

Im having the same issue :-(
Same issue with mine. Cannot connect to the network.
Have uninstalled and reinstalled as well.
Between this and the backlight bleed i'm none too happy. With all the good reviews this thing has been getting i'm a tad disapointed.
Just did the 3.1 update and it's still not working. Anyone have any ideas how to get google earth working? Every time it's cannot connect to network.
Have you tried master reset?
no i didn't try a master reset. Google earth was like the second or third thing i put on this after i opened the box and it didn't work straight off. I've seen a few other posts around the web as well with people with the transformer and this same problem and not one solution.
I would give factory reset a try...

you can try to clear the cache of Google earth through the applications option in the configuration menu. That trick did help me a couple of times when apps did not work!
Ok did a factory reset. Went through the initial setup and the FIRST and only app i installed was google earth. Still the exact same problem. Cannot connect to the network.
The other computers on my network can access google earth fine but they are hard wired to the router. I just tried my phone over wifi and it can't connect either so it has to be something with my wifi settings on my router. But i'm stumped as to what it might be. Everything is set pretty much default. UPNP is on, just using wep for security.
Any ideas?
** Update
Stumbled onto another thread for a similar problem. I changed my DNS server in my router to googles DNS and suddenly it works. I don't even claim to understand why. Wired computers were fine, anything wireless didn't work until i switched the DNS server away from my ISP to google's. Any possible reason for this?
Your ISP is filtering/throttling.
Hmm, I'm also having this problem too. GE works on my wifi from my PC, and my phone, but not on my pad. I've tried changing the DNS in my router to google's (8.8.8.8 & 8.8.4.4), but still the same.
If I tether to my phone through 3G, works fine on the pad. Must be something with my router/network, but when it works on my PC & phone on wifi, I can't figure out why it won't work on the transformer!
Any solutions/ideas??

It sounds like your ISP is unable to resolve the google earth server's address.
Thanks for the response, but if was an ISP problem, wouldn't that also mean my phone and pc would have the same problem?
I'm far from being any way knowledgeable when it comes to networking, but I thought that would be the case??
C.
Same problem here.
An of course Google Maps works on the TF101 (it should look at same servers...), and Google Earth works on other PCs & telephones connected to same home network, so ISP DNS is not the cause.

No don't think that's the case. Every other computer on the same network was able to access it just fine through the same router and same ISP. It was only my phone and TF101 trying wirelessly. Even another wirless computer on the network was able to access it, it was ONLY the android devices that were having a problem.
Same hare, not working on the transformer, but i have no problems on any other device`s i own...

I've managed to try my pad on another wi fi network & it works fine on that system, but not on my home network, which will support Google Earth on my phone & PC, so the problem must be router/network related, but I'm damned if I can figure it out.

Have you tried what i did to see if it works for you as well? Go into your router and find the section regarding DNS and switch it to 8.8.8.8 and secondary 8.8.4.4 and see if it works.
Hey guys, my rooted P6210 seems to have a Google market connection issue. It seems to have happened overnight, it was fine for weeks..and i didn't notice it until i tried to use the market to add a paid app. I get a great wi-fi connection in my home and can browse the internet with no problem but the g-market can't connect and it simply retries. I have deleted the accounts on the device to no avail Any suggestions will help.
Were you able to recreate the accounts successfully?
Try these things:
1. Clear market data
2. re-setup market accounts
3. make sure the date and time on the tab is correct
I discovered mine had reset to the year 2000 after the battery went completely dead. With an incorrect clock, certificate negotiations will fail.

Also, have you tried a different wifi network? Its a long shot but I suppose the port that the market uses could be blocked

Wow, problem solved. I had no idea the date or time had changed because of a charge issue. My brain tells me since the device has an active connection to the internet it would do this all by itself and i never check the tab for those purposes. Now all i need to do is get which exact files to flash using Odin so i can go back to 100% stock. I have searched and found the files but no ((really clear)) directions on which files get flashed. There are 3 all together. Hey you guys made my day..really.
Hi All,
I am new to these forums and to android, but have searched this fault no end, and have still not been able to solve this fault. So am looking for some help and advice.
I have a Samsung Galaxy S4 sim free on uk 3 network and started to notice that a lot of links I was clicking from twitter etc were not loading, or I would just get a page not found message like the ones you get when there is a genuine incorrect link posted, an example of this was links from Forbes website.
I then noticed though, if I switch wifi off and it connects to cellular data the same links work first time?
The strange this is on wifi, all my apps etc update fine, and even if I open up samsung browser and go to lots of sites, they all work, it is just a few that dont.
One I definitely know that doesnt work is newsnow co uk whenever I am on wifi and try to connect it says page cannot be displayed, but works on 3g
Some sites I have read say it is linked to proxy settings?
Any assistance will be greatly appreciated.
Gims
Sounds like your wifi dns settings. Could be your device, router, or isp. If you can connect to those sites using a laptop or computer on the same wifi then it is the device settings. You might want to check out setDNS in the Play Store.
Sent from my SHV-E300K
Yeah I can access using my wifes phone and laptops etc
I will look into DNS setting on S4
Thanks
Is setDNS for rooted phones? Mine is not rooted
I have the same issue. And I don't think is a problem with router or modem. Definitely a phones problem. It happens at home and at my work.
And it's temporary. If you disable wifi and turn it on again it works.

Hi guys. I am having this headache type issue for many days. Any help would be appreciated.
I live in Pakistan and here Youtube access is blocked but from the last few days play store never connects. I also made a complain to my ISP but they said it is not their fault. The problem according to them is "Play store sending/receiving data from Youtube tunnel." They said me to complain Google dieectly. Many of my friends are facing this issue so this is not my Android problem. I also changed the time zone of my smartphone as read by me in one article but still same issue persists. But, i found something which really worked for some days and now it doesn't. I was reading about it then i found something in which a person described to change my DNS 1 /DNS 2 Address from Wifi - Advanced settings. So i changed DNS 1 to 8.8.8.8 and DNS 2 to 8.8.4.4. I turned off wifi after saving it and then blaah! My google play store worked for some days but from yesterday i am constantly facing this No Connection error. I also remived and added my account. Gmail is also not Syncing. But my play store still works on a VPN. Please help. Here are the screenshots for better guidance
Hi, Are you Rooted?

I am on wifi. My play store wont work without a vpn. Maybe some firewall blocking access to it. While i use vpn, i can connect. How can i debug the culprit?
Reformat/reset factory.. maybe.. or you vpn settings causing this..
Using The Old Android
I tried it but still same.
Your vpn settings?
Using The Old Android
I am not using any P2P VPN. Whenever i use HSS and SpeedVPN, play store starts to work.!
Your friends phone has a same problem?
Using The Old Android

I have a new Pixel tablet as of yesterday. So far it seems kind of buggy. The biggest problem seems to be with connecting to only some websites. It is definitely connected to the network and can get to some websites. I had this problem yesterday and solved it by dropping the cache for some of the Google apps. It is not working today. Today I find that links from Google search results all return "This site can't be reached". I can get to the sites outside the Gooele search. Only a problem on the pixel tablet. Works fine on other devices in the house.
Did you try a factory reset? Sounds like a software issue. Did you try connecting to a hotspot instead of house wifi?
Not sure on this one. I think you can specify in the Google app to use the Chrome browser for web searches
