Hi guys, i'm new to fastboot so pardon me for this noob question. I have root and the latest clockwork flashed through ROM Manager. The issue is that I don't have a nandroid backup yet, so I thought it was a good thing to do. I did the following:
1 - entered fastboot mode (power + volume up)
2 - selected recovery
3 - phone rebooted and now is stuck on the exclamation + robot logo
How do I proceed to reboot phone or enter clockwork?
Thanks.
Edit: Well, I figured how to bring up the options and reboot the phone(turns out it was almost like on my previous phone lol). Still, for some reason I could not boot into clockwork until I re-flashed it using ROM Manager. I think it's the second time my clockworkmod gets messed up and I have to re-flash it. Anyone knows why?
Edit 2 :I just made a nandroid backup and rebooted the phone. Then I turned it off, booted into fastboot mode> recovery and ClockworkMod was gone again. Can someone help me figure out how to solve this? :|

the stock 2.3.1 rom has a script that runs at startup that will replace the recovery back to stock at every boot. /ect/install-recovery.sh
if remove or rename it, it won't do that anymore.
Moved to Q&A
! screen is the stock recovery.
To see the actual stock recovery options
Again, press up and power together real fast.
Hello Guys,
i have made something wrong. i wanted to install the OTA JB Image from internal SD and i was thinking it would work with CWM.
First step i have made is, unlocked the bootloader with adb.exe etc...
The Second Step was to get root and superuser (here maybe i have done something wrong) but in the end i got superuser to work with a patched bootloader or something.
The Third Step i installed CWM and started to flash the recovery image.
But it doesnt go any further, if i try to go into recovery mode, it stucked always at the message "boot recovery kernel". from here its frozen.
i have two recovery images to choice with CWM, One is calling TeamWin Recovery Image and the other is the CWM Recovery. But both doesnt work. I tried to go directly from CWM to the recovery mode and with the Power Button and Vol + Method. Both not working. If i try to boot manually first it says "it update via sdcard" or something, and immiadately it follows the message "boot recovery kernel" and stucked....Nothing happened
Thats a big problem because i cant update anymore and i dont have an externel sd card here. And via google i cant find a solution to this problem.
Is there a Method to install a new Recovery.img via adb? that work properly?
Maybe someone can help me out?
Greetings
Jack
Sorry for my bad English.
[EDIT] i have solved the problem by my own. I've flashed the wrong recovery img. Now i have flashed that version for ICS with vorbeths Easy Root. And now i can Update the version. Hope there will be no more problems...
Please steps

I also installed "Triangle Away" app to remove warning sign.
I also have installed Flashify, while i was trying the Recovery Image option Image, it says "recovery partition not found" . When i click on Boot image option, it says "boot partition not found".
Beleive me, every other post/thread says the same. I have rooted my phone with Framaroot, but still I cannot enter in CWM Recovery mode!!

Can you enter fastboot mode ? If you can, you'll be able to flash system images + stock recovery then you can start over by re-flashing TWRP.
hey,
so I guess I made a major mistake. I wanted to flash twrp recovery with this ramdisk.img , it all worked fine, I could flash it and then I entered the recovery mode via adb with the command adb reboot recovery. The recovery mode twrp logo popped up and all I can see is the name teamwin and the project version, which says 3.2.1-0 btw and the names of the developers nothing more, the screen is frozen and I can't do anything else.
I tried to reboot into fastboot and bootloader with adb but all I does is, that the screen turns off then on and then it says "your device is booting now…" and it leads me back to the teamwin logo and freez again.
I can't do a normal reboot and I can't flash another .img recovery..
I hope someone can help me please..
There must be a way to get out of this.

Were you on android 9 or 8, prior to flashing twrp?
Android 9.1, however I did this but I could get back to eRecovery after I pressed the volume up key and on/off key several times. I normally rebooted my phone and now I can use it again ?
But its still frustrating that it didn't work
