Froyo keyboard for gingerbread cm7 - Nexus One Themes and Apps

So I hate the gingerbread keyboard and prefer the froyo keyboard. After searching for a couple of hours it seems that no one has been able to port it.
Looking through the market I found this.
Install this keyboard from the market. I am not the maker of this and it is a free product.
Its the FroYo keyboard and it works on gingerbread cm7.

Stock 2.1 Keyboard?

Anyone have a apk for the stock 2.1 keyboard that works on the DI? HTC IME is just a little small for my sausage fingers lol...Anyway it would be appreciated.
+1! I thought maybe I was the only one that hated the keyboard as it is. Coming from a Nexus I was WAY faster typing on the stock one!
me too. I'd really like the stock keyboard and stock contacts app.
No love for stock 2.1 kb?

[Q][Maybe req] Honeycomb keyboard

With everything that's been available to the public, honeycomb sdk, xoom tablet, would it be possible to port the HC keyboard apk like people did for gingerbread? I like the way it looks.

[Q] iOS keyboard on Android?

Before I get the hell flamed out of me, let me say that I'm an Android fan. I'm not too fond of Samsung, but I like my Samsung Captivate. I traded my iPhone 4 for it. However, as good as the Gingerbread keyboard is, it isn't as accurate or seamless as iOS's predictive text software. Is there a way to install the iOS keyboard onto my Samsung Captivate? It is rooted and running Serendipity 6.3 (Android 2.2).

no. iOS is closed source and porting anything from is close to impossible. there is however other keyboard software with iPhone themes, such as better keyboard if this is of any use to you .

Thanks. I've tried Swype and SwiftKey so far, but neither were as good as the Gingerbread Keyboard imo.

[Q] disabling sense or rom without sense

Hi there,
I told my mother to buy a Desire S because it had reasonnable specs at a fair price. However I feel bad about the Sense UI that adds complexity and small fonts. I have an HD2 with a Nexus One ROM and could help her much better if she had the Google 'customization'.
So is there a way to disable/remove sense? There is a known trick for the Desire that does not work for the S. Or is there a rom without Sense? I have not seen any in the dev forum.
Thanks,
Jerome.
You can just download LauncherPro or Gingerbread Launcher or any other launcher app from the market
But if you wanna disable Sense completely I don't think there's rom of pure Gingerbread yet ..
Launcher pro would definitely not do anything to simplify things!
I think something like the titanium roms that were available for winmo
6.5 et al would be good. Stripped down and simpler to use without Sense, also faster imo.

Well, someone can try to port an android from a non htc phone to this one.....
Thanks for your answers.
Actually I noticed some people compile the gingerbread launcher and post it on the market (there's also the gingerbread keyboard).
I may try that ...

Keyboards for CM6 or for any phone.

SO i currently have the CM6 ROM for Huawei ascend , if that even matters.
So to the point!
Where can i get cool keyboards from? like betterkeyboard 8
(but in my opinion it looks ugly lol)
and just post any keyboard that you think looks cool. I want to find one that fits me, but im not asking for specific ones, post any thing
Stock 2.3 Gingerbread keyboard, just look it up in the market. Same exact thing from Gingerbread.
