First, if you want anyone to have a reasonable chance of helping you, you have to provide a little more detail other than what phone you have. It's kind of assumed you have an inspire.
Many of us don't use the web version of the site and are unable to see anything you might have in your Sig.
Is the phone stock? Rooted? What ROM are you running? Radio? RIL?
I assume you have verified your internet connection, and are able to access the internet on this same WiFi network with other devices?
Honestly, with such vague information provided, it could be any number of things.
Do other devices connected to the WiFi have internet access?
Does your WiFi router assign IP numbers via DHCP?
Does your WiFi router have security enabled?
Does your WiFi router block access to everything except specific MAC numbers?

Judging by the number of yours and my questions that have been answered by the op, I think it's safe to say his router/broadband modem just needed a maintenance reset.
hello,
i am really sorry but this is my first smart phone. i was using Nokia N73, though i am not completely aware of the phone, i am smart enough to figure it out. i followed this process to open the wifi network

i have no problems in connecting to the network. it is connected fine but when i open the internet , it shows as web page cannot be displayed.

That's because your running the downgraded radio that the hack kit left you with, that was never intended to be left on the phone... It's used in order to gain root, because it has the "vulnerability" needed to root.
You need to flash another rom/radio. Look for ace/stock/rooted radio/rom in the dev section. There's one by Attn1 that will do the trick for you.
thank you. i really appreciate your help. now my phone is working fine. feeling really happy to repair my phone myself. this was only possible because of your guidance. i also thank Attn1 and dev.

Look at the Development section. That's where the roms, radios, all the stuff you need to flash your phone are located. There are instructions and links with each thread that tell you what you need to do.

Hi All,
I would like to know if there is a method to root/unlock the Australian version of the Motorola Xoom (Telstra branded).
Details listed here:
Model Number: MZ601
Android Version: 3.0.1
Firmware: GAS_ASIA_USAEVRSTUTELSAU_PO21
Baseband: N_01.83.28P
Baseband Config: UCAEVEUB1B8EU034.0R
Kernel: 2.6.36.3
Build Number: H6.1-38-9
Thanks all. I absolutely love this devices but I need super powers to enjoy it just like my Desire HD.
Use the same process for the EU UK Xoom, which is also an MZ601.
Hi
I did this today with mine, following these guides in the following order, the first one roots the 3.0.1 install our xooms shipped with, and the second one handles the upgrade to 3.1 and rooting on 3.1

Hi, I previousy flashed my xoom with the clockworkmod recovery images (HC 3.1), (which are US) and i dont have 3g anymore... is there a way to flash back to euro/AU stock or rooted (idk i just want 3g back lol)?
thanks in advance!
Upgrading to 3.1 and keeping 3g ??
Has anyone with a Telstra Xoom upgraded to 3.1 and kept 3g??
I have rooted my stock xoom now want to enable the SD and upgrade to 3.1 but would like to have a functioning 3g
I am having trouble finding the guide to enabling the sdcard. I have installed clockworkmod but it is useless without the sdcard ???
Help need ..... I am wondering if anyone out there are able to send me the files to enable 3g on Telstra as described in this post.
My situation is a follows. I have an Australian Telstra xoom and tried one of the 1 click root programs. After much pain and research I now realise 2 things. 1/ this completely stuffed by device, it now hangs at the logo on boot. 2/ even if it did work it is for US networks only. I have worked my way through the posts and have managed to recover the device by fastbooting with the euro boot.img described in this post. Problem is no 3g. This post provides a description of how to extract the Telstra 3g files for the device before it gets trashed. I did not do this. So I am assuming I now need to source these files from someone who has a working Telstra xoom.
Can anyone out these assist......

I Have the same problem! i tried to root my telstra xoom and got bricked.
I then flashed the german images.
I have now updated to HC 3.1, from the german rom to the us one, (i used this guide http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1089695) hoping that it may fix the carrier probs, to no avail.
I can see the telstra network (as well as vodafone etc.) but the xoom doesnt connect to it, and if i try to manually pick the network, it says "registered on network" but i still dont have network access
Edit: Would someone be able to upload the files from their working telstra xoom, so that we can push them to ours in a last ditch effort?
Frustrating isn't it... I think if we can get someone to rip the telstra comms (as described in the original post) files off a working AUS Telstra Xoom we may be ok. This is a bit of a guess but worth a try?
see thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1100372
which may have your answer
yes have a look at the thread suggested above as I have been the one posting to that and the files have fixed my 3g problems. Now connected to telstra no probs.
See my recent post on that thread as I still have a remaining problem with wifi.

Thanks So Much! (+1) I got it working now, with 3.01, couldnt make 3.1 work... but i dont care. as long as it works!
Hi all, I also have a Telstra Xoom (MZ601).
I have already upgraded to 3.1 and the Tiamat deodexed ROM 1.0, but before I did that I made a nandroid backup of the original images.
Like most people, I do not have 3G data capability, but I can apparently make and receive phone calls, so it is sort of working.
I have the original build.prop and other images; would they help?
I bought this Nexus S, i9020. It's just a couple of days old. Had ICS 4.0.4 and when connected to WiFi, phone started downloading latest system update. Installed the update quickly. The battery however, started draining too quickly after the update.
My problem or nightmare started when I tried to revert or downgrade this cellphone to Gingerbread 2.3.6, because I read that on GB, this phone's battery lasted for more than a day.
Anyhow, when I downloaded this One_Step_Click guide for downgrading to GB 2.3.6, the phone actually downgraded, but to my utter surprise, it has downgraded to Sprint Nexus S 4G, the phone now shows following:
Model number: Nexus S 4G (which it's not, its Nexus S i9020)
Android version: 2.3.4
Baseband version: Unknown
Kernel version: 2.6.35.7-ge382d80
Build number: GRJ22
The phone has lost the GSM signal, although SIM is still in the SIM slot. I can still connect to WiFi and connect to my Google account.
FYI, i am using Ufone GSM network here in Karachi, Pakistan.
Need urgent help in restoring my Nexus S to its original state to be able to use on GSM network.
Appreciate your help.
Thanks.
Seems like you are actually messed up. So you want Gingerbread 2.3.6 on your NS, right?
Just confirm me one thing, is it I9020T or I9020A? I'll be easily able to help you then

I am facing a similar issue (in Pakistan) and can't seem to find the right baseband/radio. I tried almost all radios at http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1116884 but the problem remains - I get very very low signals (my SIM works fine on other phones). Any PM for me as well

Hi
Does anyone have stock firmware for Huawei E5776 in English please.
My E5776 was showing NO SERVICE after unlocking from EE no matter which SIM I used so I updated it to a newer firmware version but that turned out to be some Russian network's firmware and moreover its in Russian language.
Is there anyway that I can revert back to the old EE firmware in English or update it to stock firmware if available.
Thanks

Got the same one with EE firmware, it reports that it's in roaming, but after setting up APN and connecting manually (or marking the connect in roaming checkbox) it works fine.
But I'm also interested in getting the stock (or other than EE and english) firmware.
Someone tried german updater?

Found stock firmware/dashboard for my E5776 from ee.co.uk!
And it's working fine - here's a screenshot which proves that:

It's on german huawei site: http://huaweidevices.de/e5776?show=downloads but it's multi-language!
There's also pdf with instructions - first need to install the Update_UT* (drivers) and then the e5776_Update*.
If it asks for flash code, you can generate it here: http://www.modemunlock.com/huawei.php

Yes, it is
Hi,
Yes, I have just updated mine which was an EE branded, all is well happily connected to three using the stock firmware.
If yours is an EE one too then don't forget to get the firmware update password from that site in the post mentioned earlier.

Yes, it is likely to work.
EE is a network in the UK.
The stock firmware is coming form the German Huawei site.
It did work for my device, at any rate, there are no guarantees.

No nothing to worry about. That is just the location of the JS served by the router. (It will not run, when you click that link.) But since yesterday I also need these:

No problem, just go to the page:

and then (if you use Firefox) hit CTRL-U. This opens a new browesr window with the pure HTML code, without the JavaScript modifications, so that you can copy & paste it.

Update and lose 4G
I recently followed the instructions on installing the stock firmware on my OPTUS 4G E5776. All seemed right, I had the Huawei dashboard, but after doing this, all I can connect to is to the 3G network. It seems that if you use the stock firmware, you will lose the ability to connect to the 4G network. Has anyone else had this problem? Is there a way to set is so you can still get 4G? I have searched high and low and could not find anywhere to download and reinstall the OPTUS firmware again so I just returned it to where I purchased it from for a replacement. I am not game enough to do this again until I know I can get 4G, as this is the reason I purchased the 4G modem in the first place for better and faster speeds.
Thanks
4G Connection
@Brad1982
Someone who followed the instructions on my website to update the firmware just got in contact with me today with exactly the same issue (on the UK EE network).
To restore 4G connection go to the connection settings page and switch from Auto to 4G only and save setting. The modem will now connect correctly. Once connected for the first time you can then switch back to Auto and 4G should still work. Why this step is necessary is a bit of a mystery I'm afraid!
drops connection
I followed this thread to unlock and install the default firmware, all went ok but I find that it drops connection frequently. I change settings to 3G only and manual connect which seems to help but it still does it, any ideas?
I have seen some of the bugs mentioned here also:
http://willtaylor.org/update-e5776-firmware/
I found this link looking for an update but it looks like source code, may be useful to someone:

I Hope this is the right place to post this question, If not I will repost elsewhere. I did a search for this but could not find much info.
So I successfully unlocked the bootloader on my Droid maxx via Sunshine, and decided to try some of the newer basebands. I'm running 4.4 19.5.3 stock rom, and the newest radios from here seemed to have messed up my bluetooth and wifi tether. I can't see bluetooth devices, and they can't find my device when discoverable is enabled. Also, wifi tether only works in the upper channels (149-165) Which I'm assuming is the 5Ghz band, but when I set it to any channel in 1-11, none of my wifi devices can see the network. Does anyone have the stock baseband for 19.5.3? I only see radios for 19.6.3, and the other radios for 4.4.4 cause my phone to display the "restriced access changed" error and I was unable to get any cellular connection. I think the solution is to go back to the baseband radio sw that came originally with 19.5.3, but I don't see any links for that version.

Not sure its def. your problem, but I uploaded it here: http://d-h.st/Asa
Thanks for the reply, I just tried flashing that, and it made things worse, I was not even able to unlock my phone at startup and a lot of things were crashing, so I reverted to one that was semi-working. From the file description, it looks like that is for 4.2.2, so that may be the problem since I am currently on 4.4. Do you have anything else that could help? Otherwise, I think I need to flash a whole new rom.
How to fake a connected cellular network?
I have a Japanese carrier SIM-locked smartphone Fujitsu F-01F. The system software update is blocked since there is no carrier network connected.
I want to tamper this so it can let me download the OTA update. Do you guys know what is the component/service on the Android OS which the updating software use to get the current cellular network. If I know about that I can give it a try.
Summon @tewilove. Can you give an advice on this?

Generally it requires kernel exploit, bypassing kernel restrictions, then hook TelephonyService.
And you will need valid DCM phone number and IMSI to fake while hooking.

Is there any known exploit for 4.2.2? And IMSI, this thing is kinda new to me
btw: are you working on UpAny any more?
Any progress on this? I've tried UpAny on my F-01F but it doesn't work. It installs and starts, so I can select "Software Update" or "Upgrade Android software". But when I push "Next" button, it shows "Launching..." message for a second and that's all! No system updater started. If I manually launch system update, it says "Unable to start upgrading in an area where docomo signal is unreachable or during roaming even when Wi-Fi connection is enabled."

Is it possible to include F-01F support into your app? I could do beta tests on my phone. And could donate to you if you need.
