i saw a thread in the "regular hero" forums saying something about setting up a wave group that talks about stuff related to the development aspect of things going on with our phone and thought that it sounded like an awesome idea (considering i watched a 1.5 hour video on goole wave and it looks like its gonna be the balls. and i just managed to get an invite) like i said, thought it would be a neat idea. just post your wave address

I agree, using waves connected to aspects of the development of roms and the like would be pretty useful IMO.
For instance take the kernel reverse engineering thread, if that was a wave and you had multiple people working on it while being able to include pics comments and whatnot in real time, imagine the increase of development speed.
Integrating more devs into projects would probably be very beneficial, while helping to trump the annoyances in integrating projects.

Just so you guys know, this isn't an app you can pass around. Once you get the invite, its done through HTML5. Sorry to burst your bubble, but if you dont get an invite, there will be no way to use it

Yeah we have seen that which is Google all over (the more in the cloud the better) but I have sent for my invite and according to sources they dish them out once a week. So fingers crossed...

I agree but I also think that although there will be a lot of crap there will be some really good stuff. Just that little spark of genius.
And personally I would like to build apps to help me out. Almost like macros.

Currently there are technical limitations to being able to upload an App Inventor app to the Andorid Market but we are actively evaluating the best way to integrate with the Market.

Download the source from Google App inventor and find the code that gets detected and change it around a bit.
Thats how most things get past detection.
HOWEVER, I will not do this of course, I am going to use App inventor for personal apps or publish it out of the market.
I have a strange thing how I learn programming, I tend to learn more from examples of code and I have learned LUA(For Gmod) and PAWN(for AMXX) but those are scripting languages.
Some App inventor apps might be worth to be on the market.
There is already lots of messy apps out there but the rating system takes care of that.
I got my invite Monday but haven't got around to trying it out yet, but i don't think you'll be able to make complex apps with this i might take a look at it next week if i get a chance i'll let ya'll know if its really game changing or not .
Can sumone theme the applanet app?light blue? And make it a flashable zip, I can't use advanced thanx in advance.....

This is like asking if someone can spray paint your stolen car or something....hahahahahaha....I don't think is going to happen unless you find someone with the same ethics as you or if you do it yourself!
My advice, support developers because that's the only way to get updates for your favorite apps and for the android community to continue moving forward!

I own a company that paints stolen cars if anyone is interested. We also do VIN changes and provide matching titles. If anyone is interested send me a PM with your address and your cars make, model, year and license plate #. I will have someone pop on over and grab it within a day!

id say only people that donate to him can use the pre released beta/alpha kernels he makes....
but that never really seems to work and get alot of interest...

i.e. i donate 15 bucks he puts in 15 bucks
so its not all of the community paying for his device just helping him

Yes he is a great dev. I'll set up a fund somewhere, let me see what i can do. Might not get to this tonight but i will get to it. I have been talking to him all day today and he is a great guy. Just for the record I will probably be throwing in 50 bucks myself.

Agree with this! Maybe make a Facebook group like TW/EDT.
TW once release a built exclusive to the FB group and everyone respected it and there was no leaks!
