i saw a thread in the "regular hero" forums saying something about setting up a wave group that talks about stuff related to the development aspect of things going on with our phone and thought that it sounded like an awesome idea (considering i watched a 1.5 hour video on goole wave and it looks like its gonna be the balls. and i just managed to get an invite) like i said, thought it would be a neat idea. just post your wave address

I agree, using waves connected to aspects of the development of roms and the like would be pretty useful IMO.
For instance take the kernel reverse engineering thread, if that was a wave and you had multiple people working on it while being able to include pics comments and whatnot in real time, imagine the increase of development speed.
Integrating more devs into projects would probably be very beneficial, while helping to trump the annoyances in integrating projects.

does not work, i think they must have changed this... when did you get yours? probably a few months ago i would guess, as I ran into the same no-go issue about 1.5 months ago so i think it was changed before that... if not, then there must be some selectiveness with who it works for or not, although i'm not sure what it would be... regardless i've got it and love it!

For this to work, you have to use a ROM that Google will think is a Nexus One... so try DarchDroid.

Try installing DarchDroid or a very early 2.1 ROM. If you get an email thanking you for getting a Nexus One, then you'll be able to get a GV number like that.
I have Fresh 2.0d and it worked for me without the invite...I'm still trying to figure out if I really want to use it or not...as in will it really benefit me

The article mentioned GPS, Calls, and texts. So at least that much.

Yeah, Monday would be TODAY. They launched it and announced it, but you just can't use it yet. This sucks.
