This may be a dumb question. Things seem to be a little different than when I was on the hero and incredible, but if I'm running a gingerbread rom (coreddroid) will it be alright to flash the newest att radio, since I believe its froyo based?
Sent from my Inspire 4g baby
The radios work with Froyo and GB. I don't believe they are OS dependent.

Every single is great. You go the pop up SMS. You got themes. You got smoothness. You go no sense. You got opinion of launcher. And the world is open for more.

They're all different better and unique. And this thread will be locked, soon.
So I have accidentally fallen off of my skateboard and cracked my Inspire's screen, so now I need to choose. Should I get another Inspire, Thunderbolt, Infuse, or something else? It needs to be under 100 dollars. Any suggestions? And it has to be on AT&T. With my new upgrade xD.
Thunderbolt is verizon only. And it is not what we think, but what you think.

If you can wait til the 2nd I would get the gs2 but again that's just me
Sent from my Inspire 4G using XDA App
How much will the GS2 cost?
And so I guess it's between the Infuse and Atrix and Inspire. xD
and the Thrill.
Well which one should I go with xD? I was leaning towards the Inspire since it has MIUI.
The gs2 will be $199 and i think they are working on miui for it but no could be wrong

So I finally got my phone, I got an LG Thrill. But I don't know what to do? Should I keep it and hope for rom updates after 2.3.3 comes OTA or should I just get an Inspire and install my favorite rom MIUI?
I'd still take an inspire over something like the thrill

May I ask why?

I think this phone will be just as good. I love it so far.

I have cm7 for my evo 4g which is just simply fantastic. But I recently rooted an epic 4g and I'm just wondering what's a good ROM to put on it? I currently have thunderhawk... Is that the best it gets?

No one can tell you what rom will be best for you as there is not best rom. It is all personal choice. A search would have shown you this.

Hello,
I saw a youtube video yesterday about a guy with an inspire 4g having 2.3.5 update problems. well I commented on the video and asked what he was talking about because htc doesn't show that there is a new update except for the 2.3.3 update. And I can the guy is already running 2.3.3 because of the app drawer icon. has anyone recieved an update notification? To see what I am talking about search youtube for "HTC inspire 4g update problems" it's the first video on the list.
There is no official 2.3.5 update for the inspire yet. That is a fact. But there are quite a few non official 2.3.5 ROMs out there.
Edit: I just looked and only see August of 2011 2.3.3 youtube vids that fit that search criteria.
that's what i thought. i don't think the guy in the video is right.
As far as I know there is an unofficial 2.3.7 that's what I'm running right now

So what does any of this have to do with OP? Senseless plugging?
I was replying to you but to the op. There isn't an official 2.3.5+ if he was running 2.3.5 then he must have been using a custom rom and most likely was just trying to be cool or mislead people.

I would stay with the one that came with your phone. Radios are based on your region where your at. So the carrier gives you the radio that works best for where your located. An old saying why fix what is not broken.

trufax. In my experience and even reading of others, there is no radio that will just give you an "OMG this is awesome" experience. And even havign the same phone and in the same house can have different experiences with different radios.
