I've been making some themes lately and I wanted to share them with my Evo XDA people to see what people think and maybe get some feedback/ideas, and for people to rock and ****ing represent! : p
* - Thanks to XDA and all its great developers/themers/modders, UOT Kitchen, Kushdeck, CM, Team Win, Google, Magnus, Team Alpha, Myn, and my Mynion buddies : )
Directions: (for noobies mostly, skip if you've flashed some themes in your day : )
*Step one: Download the theme(s) you like
Two: (optional) Nandroid backup JIC, wipe cache and dalvik-cache (optional)
*Three: Flash the .zip in recovery, reboot
*Four: Choose the theme in theme chooser
Five: Reboot (only needed if icons/header don't reset, hasn't been needed in EvoDeck 1.2.1)
*Six: Like what you see? *Hit Thanks* if you could : )
**Disclaimer: The usual: I'm not reponsible for anything, all themes tested and work great with the latest from Kush's EvoDeck and should work great on anything else CM7 (AOSP) based, everything is golden with these themes assuming you can read and follow simple directions : )

One suggestion for Blue Magic : darken the battery and clock font. White on light gray is difficult to see. Other than that ...sweetness!

Thanks for the kind words. I will try to change the font color for the clock and battery, either I'm blind or its kinda hard to change, either way, I will work on it.
edit: it appears I am indeed blind, I plan on a white header with colored text for theme #6.

[Theme] Sapphire - Blue! - Color Menus!! FRESH & Damage Control - All New RUU ROMS!
Sapphire Theme
This is a blue version of EnamoRED....with a few changes After testing if out a bit.....changing a few minor thing, I am putting this theme out for everyone to use. I choose the name Sapphire, because it's a deep vibrant blue that has many shades.....as does this theme! I do hope you all enjoy it, and keep on the lookout for my "Green" version!

If you are running Fresh 0.5.3 it will not work....lol, this is for the new RUU only. Fresh will be out with the public release very soon

This theme is heavily influenced by BlackFroyo from SamCrow from the Samsung Vibrant forum http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=895772 and also Erebos by Regedy1 http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1003379 and of course from my Dark Horse Theme http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=992967. Thanks to brtnygrey for her icon set that I used throughout the theme - link This theme is still young and has a lot more to be added to it soon.

A kfunk what's good man??? Ha I like the theme. Wanted to know did you add any extra apps to your theme. I seen in the screen shot you had the black face book widget. And wanted to know was that part of the theme. You know some themes include alot of extra apps I don't personally use. And sometimes I have to go and remove them. I run without the google add on's cause my roms are a lot faster. So I wanted to know before I flashed this. Thanks

So I dowloaded the theme and everything seems okay except for the top bar still seems CM6.1 stable (still has green battery). I tried downloading the XML and nothing happened. Sorry if theses are dumb questions....still a noob...that really is liking the theme and would like to have my hero looking like the screenshots....any and all help is appreciated!!!!
kfunk i tried flashing it too i had the same error as above, upon inspection you left your framework-res as a .zip instead of an apk
Kfunk, your xml won't download from dropbox as an xml doc. You'll need to put it in a zip before you put it in db.
Oops... I'll fix this and re-post it along with the .XML file

I also went ahead and renamed it back to BlackFunk as well instead of BlackHorse to distance it a little from the DarkHorse theme

I believe most are still on Trip's 2.2.1 as its very stable..

UPDATE : Re-ported this theme to work with UGB ROM EC09, only thing not themed it the dropdown notification seeing as its a ***** to get themed...gotta love xml baby!!! will be working on fixing this issue

this is a very very nice looking theme. Except for the keyboard. Thats a little loud. But it fits with the rest of the theme nice work!

it wont work with the 7 lock screen version...i think im goin to have to re upload a newer version...gimme till tonight sometime and ill have it fixed for you....if you using the 6 lock screen version, all you have to do is delete the .jar files in the system/framework folder and it will work fine, or so i think
theme has been updated to work with the 5/3/11 version of The Heiinz_57 ROM and uses edify scripting and works with CWM 3

Is there anyway you could change the color of the text on some of the menus when you hit "more"?
Example: open up Gmail, press menu, then more. That text is black and extremely hard to see unless the background is completely white. Other than that, this theme is perfect!

the text in anyone of the menus or anything in this them is done the exact way the creator of the theme made it...i used his xml files to do this...and plus i have absolutely no idea where this would be located in the xml, this looks like some deep stuff...if i get an update from jumba for this theme that fixes it, then id be able to do it...but its the same way on my phone
Love the theme, only problem I've had is that in landscape mode the keyboard doesn't fit great on the screen. But I'm not complaining! Great job to you guys, thanks for making our phones so much more fun than those other ones!

its a glitch with the swype keyboard i used in this theme...im sure the maker of the keyboard knows about it

What about the media and games buttons on the home screen? White or orange?

I'll be changing colors once the theme is complete but standard ics colors will be last on my list.. Since themes don't work with MIUI v4 yet the point is to have a theme that goes with it well

You know, just thought of this, have your theme like dark color background and Orange fonts.

Games and media white and Orange, or black and Orange.

It's for sweeterhome, if you have sweeterhome hit menu - themes and change the category to most recent, it's called corio MIUI expansion v2
