And wanted to know was that part of the theme. You know some themes include alot of extra apps I don't personally use. And sometimes I have to go and remove them. I run without the google add on's cause my roms are a lot faster. So I wanted to know before I flashed this. Thanks

So I dowloaded the theme and everything seems okay except for the top bar still seems CM6.1 stable (still has green battery). I tried downloading the XML and nothing happened. Sorry if theses are dumb questions....still a noob...that really is liking the theme and would like to have my hero looking like the screenshots....any and all help is appreciated!!!!
kfunk i tried flashing it too i had the same error as above, upon inspection you left your framework-res as a .zip instead of an apk
Kfunk, your xml won't download from dropbox as an xml doc. You'll need to put it in a zip before you put it in db.
Oops... I'll fix this and re-post it along with the .XML file

-no font pack is present so it will use stock CM font (the font pack i used made weird non characters appear in app names)
-gingerbread keyboard is not included (can flash attached)
-liquid battery (barrowed from the darkhorse theme)

- attached BD Wallpapers is now signed so you can easily install it
- fixed the "more" menu so that the text is now white on black instead of black on black
- changed the in-call gradients so that the box is not misaligned when a contact has a picture
- i think thats everything (if you find more bugs please let me know, i think most of them are ironed out)

Ha, yeah I get that. I cant wait for AOSP gingerbread to be stable. It looks nice to me with all the black in it now.
Want to give this a try but I seem to have problems downloading 4shared from my phone, grrr unless this theme is only 5kb lol

Also FYI Not sure if this was stated before but I use firerats Mod and have to flash the Fr-Boot after this theme. It works fine after that and looks great! Soooo long until I get an upgrade so thanks for keeping the hero stylish.

I've been running firerat's mod for a while now and I haven't had to flash it when applying themes. I only flash the boot when I change roms or a kernel and never had a problem.
Awesome theme! Love the bootscreen as well. Great job!

The gingerbread keyboard im not sure about themeing since its so new I do have a theme for the old keyboard though, and I can def look into the flip though

The flip animation is awesome. I saw the youtube clip and read the instructions, but I must be doing something wrong. Hopefully it is something you can just throw in the theme. This is my new daily btw. Great work!

Hey guys I don't know about you but I really like the basic GB theme that has come out on Kejar's and Drods roms...BUT...that ORANGE had to go...so it went in favor of the awesome green. I also edited and changed all the stock Android widgets to match the current YouTube so it keeps everything uniform but with the "new stock" look(decompiled, optimized and recompiled )...I would first and foremost like to thank Kejar and Drod as they are currently developing my favorite roms. Secondly the XDA community as a whole specifically Dr. Coverdale(for his awesome tutorial on draw9patch and editing .9 pngs), Stericson (for the freaking awesome Metamorph and NinjaMorph and all his tutorials)well to be honest the list is long and prestigious so again a big thanks to XDA as a whole.

Here is my "personal preference" Metamorph...This changes the tabs on the dialer and removes the lines from under the numbers on the dialer and incall phone pad it also removes the green button press. Also this will add the round smileys to framework-res, Mms and Talk. I also changed the music widget and icon images. This will likely be the last mods on this theme as I am(and I'm sure alot of us are.) awaiting the drop of Liberty rom and the next Rubix but if interest in this theme is maintained I will port it to support Kejar/Jrummy and Drod's next developments...screen shots below...

Here's the themed LP by Benny879 you must have the plus version to use the widgets. Also included in the zip is a set of GB icons by Fab from his ApeX rom. (A very good rom for those looking for a compromise between aosp/blur.) Also a dock that I resized and edited from a com.htc.resources.apk(I included the blank icon for the launcher.) Here's a screenie of the widgets incase you missed it in the op.

Yeah I was looking at battery percentages but the battery is kind of small and verticle making it a bit difficult...but I may have a solution come tomorrow. What other icons would you like?

I really like GJ the way it was with the gingerbread look. Well I thought I did till I found this theme. This gave the rom the finishing touches I was looking for and I feel should have been included to make it perfect in both form and function. Ok, in case anyone else wants to know...does NOT work with synergy. Tried it. Winter go past Evo 4g screen. Tried wiping cache and dalvik before, then also after.
I Dont get it. This guys themes look awesome, but every thread he has has some screenshots, then no replies whatsoever. Unless i missed something. Wish it'd work.

Works just fine for me on 1.04. I only have one question - Whats up with all the themes having this itty biitty font when we have a 4in+ screen? is there any way for me to increase the font size (I dont want to use adw ex).

I did a bold move and am using this on [KingsROM][Alliance ROM] [r6.3] [w/Sense 3.0 Rosie it removes the 3d effect oh well. Of course i did a backup but for now it is good.

Instructions:

Theme is great. Could you please make nework status bar icons the same as in miui. And with no difference in colour for connected. =)))
Also different colors for settings look a liitle bit cartoonish. May be it would be better to make them all gray or smthng. IMHO)

you can pull the images out of the apk (use 7zip) and edit them yourself to your liking...
At least that's what I did for the wifi/3g/signal icons made 'em all white and added them to match the battery icon

I agree with this, could you make an alt version without the green?? Rly good theme cept for this.

when i was searching for this theme i found that the gingerbread miui roms had gingerbread statis bar icons with the miui battery....hence why it's like that...
to the other poster about the settings icons....it looked bland before i colored them lol

Is there any way you can upload the icon launcher for the app drawer as home one right now it's for squares.

Here is a little theme I threw together for EagleBlood 2.3.3, eViL's, G2xTreme and XBoarder56 2.3.3 rom, it's my first one so be patient with me people...
Download: Blue Steel OTA Theme 2.3.3
*Handcent Theme, Wallpaper, Blue Swype Beta v3 and icons in 2nd post*
Install Instructions
Make a nandroid backup (not required, but highly recommended)
Reboot into CWM Recovery
Wipe Dalvik-cache
Flash the theme
Fix permissions
Reboot

You can get the Launcher Pro Friends theme in the market it's called Blue Bionic, it matches the theme pretty well.
Here's the Handcent Blue Metal theme! If you have the Metal theme installed from the market you must delete it before you install this one! Big shout out to Tigger for this!
Here's the Blue Swype v3 Beta, by thekdub Have to completely uninstall any version of swype already installed and then install this one.

Stupid question: if I have other theming flashed already, do I need to nandroid back to before I applied them or can I just flash over what I have.

It's gonna take away all theming you already have done... so just flash over it with this if you want it or dont if you want to keep what you got... it does have the crt effect.... the glowing edge is blue.

Curious why you have flash dalvik after flash theme
i think i fixed the 4g green fix to hspa
so far loving it! Im just making a few changes to the pull down bar and Ill be happy
Oh and the 4G icon is still green

Ok Tigerr helped me changed the last image the 4g one.. it's no longer green...
And he's helping me out on the handcent theme as well.. it will be up tomorrow... he's getting his g2x tomorrow so he'll be all over this theming **** the right way... Anyways that's it for me tonight.. later fellas..
Love this but try to fix the notifications in the notification bar. The text is white so we can't see what it says
