There are a lot for Nokia and Iphone but don't know if they are compatible.
Anyone got any idea?
thx!
to my knowledge, i think you're out of luck. but i know there are some apps that can work like headset controls. eg. im using an earphone that's made for iOS, although i can't use the volume up and volume down button, i can customise the middle button using the headset control app. All the best!
cheers mate!
http://www.htc.com/hk-en/product/accessory/headset_hs-u350.html
i use that thing with some quality in ear phones from shure Works perfectly.
I use PlayerPro for music. So 1 click is play/pause music or take/end call. 2 clicks is next song, 3 clicks is last song. For volume i can use the hard buttons on the dhd And of course it has a microphone so you can use it as a headset. Oh and its quite affordable!

Thanks clouds5. I saw that too but was not sure if it was able to skip music tracks.
I will buy one and see if works on CM7 rom as well. btw I also have a Shure 530 and it is indeed fantastic.
Thanks you again!!!
For those of you who are interested in audio ectension cable with remote control and mic. I've found a good product.
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Headphone-Earphone-Mic-HTC-HD2-Pure-Snap-HD-Smart-/270783737034?pt=UK_Mobile_Home_Phones_Bluetooth_Acc_ET&hash=item3f0bf7ecca
the included earphone is very good, much to my surprice and for £3.34 I think it is a bargain. you press once to pause and play, press twice to fast forward three times to backforward.
Forgot to mention I am using CM7 rom and with Poweramp player. I've not check if it works with sense.

no offense but it's hard to believe that it's a good quality product for that price and i'm not talking about the earphones just the control !
of course you don't have to believe me. It was just my opinion and the cable did work brilliantly for me, it serves the purpose- take calls, pause, fast and back forwards etc. As for the extra earphone , of course it was no match compares to the Shure 530, but it's fantasic considering it is free. Shure 530 it's about £350 pounds, will you believe now that I think it's good? Or you still don't think it is expensive enough to be of good quality? Don't judge a product by it's price.

I flashed remix sense 3 rom and unfortunately the wired remote doesn't work as it intended. So to conclude it is only work with CM7 rom.

I guess it does, same connector. Give it a try.
Is working perfectly with tf3d and fm receiver
Can you use your own headphones with this?
http://www.expansys.com/d.aspx?i=150195
if you check the description and a user comment says you can 3.5 mm
Yes you can!
Key Features
- The E100 includes 3.5mm stereo earphones or use your own!
Nice to know that this is working, can anyone post some real pics, so I can get an impression of the real size and colour!
who can i buy the RC E100 (will this be sold separately as an accessory)?!
Yes you can, check HTC homepage or use google.
Can anyone try if this works with the diamond as well? Especially the buttons on the control device.
Tested and approved.
I bought it for my Trinity and now it works perfectly for my diamond.
Works as an antenna for the FM. All controls working nativly with the new TouchFlo3D.
perfectly, thank you for your confirmation!

I read somewhere in the net, that you might have problems with some of the HTC devices. Can you please confirm, that:
a) with this remote attached, the screen turns off (save battery time)
- I read, this is not the case
b) the screen will always turn on as soon you press any key (even in you pocket)
c) works perfectly with the Diamond
Thanks in advance
RC E100 plugged without any driver or software added - screen turned off
- by pressing Play, it plays the music and the screen stays turned off
- by pressing next-previous, it changes the song and the screen stays turned off
- by controlling the volume (buttons at the bottom) it changes Volume and the screen stays turned off
the only buttons that turns on the screen are the one for phone calls.
Tested right now with my Diamond
How about the sound quality, is it better than the ones that come in the box?
I had a P1i before, and I planning to buy the RC E100 and use the intra speakers from the hpm-75:
Has anyone tried the same? Do you think I'll get the same sound quality as my SE phone, which was much better?
I plugged a basic Sony headset. I didn't try yet the one in the box.
Peio64 ? With a name like that, you are from Euskadi ?
(edited sry double post)
Haha yes, I probably have the only diamond in the region
So you use your sony headset with an adaptor, can you compare with the crappy htc one?
Other question: I found the volume really too loud, I usually listen to music at work, and even with 1 volume bar (hard to set with the finger by the way), I think it's too strong. Does the minimal volume change with other handsets?

Can you please concretize what you mean by "crappy htc"? I have a SE and the same headset as Peio64. And. I am quite happy with it. Is the htc worse?
When I say "crappy" I mean
- no bass
- bad "isolation" (everyone around can hear what you're listening)
It's about the headset that comes in the box, don't know about the RC E100, anyway I will use the RCE100 remote with the HPM-75 intras, the lenght of the wire will be perfect
Has anyone has tried the RC E100 with a hermes?
What other devices (besides the Tytyn II and Diamond) can confirm?
Does anyone know the difference between the two (RC E100 and RC W100)?
I tried the RC W100 with my hermes ( with a few different ROMs) with no luck...
Is it true you can only control audio manager and WMP?
Can anyone look over the "driver cab" to see if other players might be possible?
Any info would be greatly appreciated.
Hi Guys,
Can someone, anyone, please confirm the difference between using the supplied headphones that come with the HRC diamond which are
a) bass-less (and I already know about the Audio booster bug - I mean they still dont have much bass when you have worked around that bug)
b) not isolated well (as pointed out above)
and compare with using a decent set of 3.5mm headphones that are connected with the RC E100 or with one of those USB to 3.5mm adapters that you can get from ebay.
Does better headphones = lots more bass? The supplied headphones just don't seem to push out much but I wonder how much of a role the actual diamond plays in this....
Thanks in advance to anyone who can confirm this.
Salada
Hi all,
I have search Desire topic with "bluetooth" word but nothing useful got. Anyone using bluetooh device like below so that we can use quality headphones with DHD?
Basicly I am looking for and any recommendations are appreciated
- 3.5 mm support
- Track/radio next/previous functionality.
- Charge status (optional)
- Internal mic (so that we can use bluetooh device as a mic source)

What do you think?

SonyEricsson MW600...
works great, music control, great sound and fm included.... only thing that is bad is the volume control (touch sensitive control that is quite annoying)
MW600 works great, but functionality from the forward/backward buttons is buggy
Yes, for MW600, that touch sensitive volume control looks a little crappy.
@utor, could you please explain why forward/backward is buggy? It does not command on something or what?
back/forward works great here... could be which player is used.... I'm using winamp and/or poweramp....
Also one thing missing is the track name and the caller name on the display... but I think that is a limitation on the android BT stack.
Mw600 works great, volume control looks annoying in the start but u get use to it.
Btw does some one got rewind/forward working on it?
Sent from my Desire HD using XDA App
wow, looks like Mw600 rulez here lol.
Is there mic on the Mw600 so that we can answer calls or do we need to use mic integrated headphones instead?
Yeah it has a mic. The mw600 is pretty good, my only complain is the volume thing too. Battery life could be a little better too i suppose, but its not really an issue ^^
Tx for the reply.
May I ask for MW600 If there are any "in memory" station channels (i.e. like in car audio systems) for radio or we can only listen by fw/rw functions?

Actually, its the htc music player thats buggy, it wont work with that player - but as other has stated it works great with poweramp/winamp/subsonic and others
Another (if not late) vote for MW600.
does this work with google listen?
Does the mw600 pause / play / etc with google listen

Thanks
I've heard good things about the Jabra BT3030
I'm using a Sony MW600 headset with my DHD, it is working perfectly for calls and music (using winamp). It is buggy with the stock music app though.

I have the Jabra BT3030 and it works fine with PowerAmp AND the Stock Music player as well as calls. I also have the Wunder Radio App and that's spot on too.
The earphones you get with the Jabra are crap, but just put you own ones in, at the moment I have Bose but I'm switching to the Klipsch S4's as the earbuds are much better.
Thanks guys for mention Jabra BT3030. I checked out for Jabra BT3030 on the web, watched some video reviews and common cons for Jabra BT3030 is call quality.
Apart from that my personal choice would not be Jabra BT3030 after MW600 in terms of build design also. Jabra is looking same as that soldier thing they put on around their necks

Beggars can't be choosers! I can't comment on call quality, and I agree that the design is somewhat tacky but the thing is that you can hide it behind your shirt - so unless you habitually do bluetooth calling whilst topless, then it would actually be quite a stealth solution - and certainly not as visible as the SonyEricsson (which I think looks quite cheap).
Have a look for some of the iTech clip headsets. They're pretty subtle, though cheap - so I don't know about battery life/build quality/compatibility.

I've just tried it, and although the sound comes through, play/pause seems to control Poweramp instead so you just get music over your podcast.
I'm otherwise very pleased with the mw600 though - for the money it's a really nice piece of kit.
If i use the 3.5mm headphone breakout cable with headphones, i hear music fine, if i plug a 3.5mm lead that goes to my stereo, nothing is output, if i play with the 3.5mm jack, i can maybe hear music for a second before the music app closes and again no music is output except internal speaker.
Does anyone know the answer to this?
its something to do with the output resisitance. we need to change it. there was some development/research into this a while back.

The answers are a bit scattered across several threads, but if you have a look at Post #7 and onwards in this one is a good start. There are also some photos of made up leads showing how to address.
In essence Oly's comment is correct, but the nub of the issue comes down to the fact that the uUSB port is not just a hard-wired audio output in the manner of a traditional 3.5mm socket. The same contacts are used for multiple functions depending on the resistance presented to the sense contact. That causes the device to change mode and then channel data or audio or go into charging mode, etc.
I can't instantly give you all the links, but if you search on the TG forum for 'audio' and my username, you will find several further references. One in particular on Brighthand gives details about connecting an external hard drive successfully.
Hope that helps,
Regards,
Kevin
Audio Output to amplifier
Here
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=936562&highlight=audio+output
and here, as kevinpwhite say, was the first thread facing this problem
http://www.modaco.com/content/toshiba-tg01-tg01-modaco-com/298887/headphone-amplified-sound-output/
Below, my own experience "tuning" a couple of PHILIPS portable amplified speakers to use with TG01 soldering a couple of 470 Ohm resistors:
1)between input left cable and ground cable
2)between input right cable and ground cable as well.
This doesn't affect to the sound at all and you can use any other sound source without problems.

Can anyone tell me what's the latest version of HTC's sound enhancer? I'm trying to get it working on a Samsung Focus S. It's dev unlocked and I'm able to load xaps, but when I open it most of the options are grayed out and I can't save any settings I apply. Thanks.
Hook it up to an external source or earphones, then choose Equalizer, you should now be able to tap on the selection bar and choose which per-set you want; simply exit and it will save. If you unplug your head phones or AUX source it will go back to grey (default).

That sucks, I wonder if it's a dll or driver issue.
I read this just today, looks like it was pulled because it was crashing HD7 phones and it sounds like a new one should be out as soon as HTC can fix it.

Wow this is what I mean when I say that Windows Phone sucks compared to Windows Mobile, the lack of functionality. Look at the picture below remember this? Why can we have something as simple as this on Windows Phone? It sure beats the hell out of me especially whey they forced us to move to WP7 when they pulled the plug on WM and stopped supporting it.

I posed this as a separate thread but no one seems to have any intrest. I have Sound Enhancer on my Trophy and it does the job but it lacks the ability to let one ajust their sounds, it just has presets and we should have more opptions. Maybe if someone posts this to a mod or something it would gain intrest, who knows how long it's going to take HTC to fix this.

Thanks for helping bring light to this sinister. I'm sad to report that I'm going back to my 4S for the time being. I've been carrying it around with me since I got the Focus to use as an mp3 player...and as fun as WP7 is to use, multiple devices makes absolutely no sense to me.
My phone is also a Trophy.
No one is mentioning that Sound Enhancer doesn't work with Bluetooth headsets either.
That's because Bluetooth on WP7 is a joke, You can't do anything worth while or useful with it except use your ear piece for phone calls.
Using the secondary display as and application switcher. I really hope LG expands on this.

The 4 way DAC, with a semi-decent connected headphone and listening to a local FLAC, at least 24\96, has made me grateful we evolved with 2 ears. Led Zeppelin (the 45 RPM version )with the V-Moda wireless (though connected with it's included braided cable) has opened music, that I know very well, in a wonderful manner.
I had the Sony MDR7506 at 63 ohms and it made the hair stand up. I've returned it and ordered the BeyerDynamic DT 770 PRO 250 Ohms Studio Headphones. High Definition music, and a headphone that triggers the DAC, will make every other phone, you have listened to, into a Hodor. My mobile phone music player history goes back to the Seimens SX66 (from 2004) and 20 or so other phones that could play locally stored music. This thing is a beast.
Good stuff!
Sent from my LG-H918 using Tapatalk
When I was considering the V20 I was like, ok it has good audio, but whatever. I focused more on the removable battery, screen size, second screen and overall specs.
After trying the DAC with my Audio Technica noise cancelling headphones I am like WOW! And that's with no special music, just regular mp3s. Is like that every instrument and voice is in the room next to you when the DAC is activated! I am glad that LG took the effort to develop a high quality feature. Now I don't mind that I paid the early adopter fee (usually after few months phones like these are much cheaper on eBay) of paying regular price.
My other favorite and more practical feature is the second screen. I was used to the LED of my Nexus 5 and was a little bit concerned about getting used to the second screen. That said I usually look at my phone from 1-2 feet anyway when I want to check for new notifications and in this context the second is much better because I can see the notification icons.
The second screen can be used to control your music as well!

The only annoying thing about music player on second screen is that when playing music on lockscreen it doesn't stay on music player (it keeps going back to default screen). I have to keep swiping it back to music screen everytime I want to change a song.
This evening I went to a small recital to try and record in 24\192 again. My 2 previous shows had been disappointments with the result. It was mostly my fault but I took steps to correct my methods. Wow! I don't what the 2 auto modes are for but when I managed the gain and clipping in the manual mode, I got HD tracks that are worthy of commercial releases. One I got my fat fingers out of the way, and started sampling the results, between songs, this is my next favorite feature.
I also love the removable battery and SD card slot but I have had 3 LG phones before and trusted the engineering.

If your headphones have controls (specifically an answer/disconnect button) you can double tap the answer button to skip to the next song.

Enjoy those headphones. Not the most musical but still very good and great for critical listening.
