Had the same problem. I signed up for g+, and my profile had been suspended. Took more than 24 he's to correct. Go into the g+ web apparently and look at your profile.
With a suspended profile some serviced won't work. For me it was talk and latitude.

Use something like Astro or Titanium Backup to back up the apps that are giving you problems, then uninstall and restore them. I used to have a the same problem and this solved it for me. Also, I would always get a force quit error when starting up certain apps.

Cannot download anything from Android Market all of a sudden, please help!

I am running Geomod on my Captivate and the rom has been great but for some reason the market stopped letting me download anything from it. It shows me the Android bot with 3 lines coming out of each side of it and says download unsuccessful. I downloaded apps before and just did a couple days ago so I'm not sure why it just stopped working. I tried different solutions that people suggested (deleting cache/data from download manager, turning off phone and starting back up, using 3G instead of wifi). It's been about 8 hours since the market stopped working and still nothing. I'd like to not have to reset because I don't want to lose my Angry Birds progress lol. Please help, thanks.
If it coincided with the ROM Install, then it is probably the Android ID issue people have discussed.

It doesn't coincide with the rom install. I install the rom about a week ago and was able to download apps but it just started to stop working recently.
Don't know if this works for everyone but I went into my browser cache, cleared and retried the marketplace and it worked after that.
Ok all of a sudden it works now...weird. Thanks.
Im running a stock EVO with out root and Im having the same problem... I dunno when it started... I did some app updates earlier and Im not even sure if they went thru, but I was on the Must have apps thread and was trying to DL a few and I cant get any of them to work, I Battery pulled, cleared DL cache and tried wifi-3g &4g, nothing is working...
I am using the stock firmware and couldn't download anything from the market at all last night. It always stopped with download unsuccessful. I cleared the DL cache and the Market data but it didn't fix anything. Then this morning it worked.
I think it was a problem with the Market.
Gtalk
You have to be logged into Gtalk to dowlnoad anything from the Market. There's some weird link between Gtalk & Market. Make sure to exclude Gtalk from any Task Killer Apps

good tip but I'm not sure that's totally accurate. After a flash I always uncheck "sign in automatically" in Gtalk and then sign out of it. Because of suspected battery drain. Never had a problem with the market

[Q] Can't download/install any market apps

Today I received my new shiny Asus Transformer, everything works great except the Market itself...
I can't even download any apps, paid or free. When I try to download any apps, it start like trying to download, but there is no progress on notification bar and it just keep like that.
I reset the tablet several times, also, cleaned the cache of the Market and Framework services, shutdown (restart) several times... nothing
Is this happening to anyone? I searched this forum and performed the steps above, but still nothing...
Please, help
Have you look into My App area, you will see, not installed list of apps. I get that as well...I am not sure if it's a bug or intended. Sometimes, it would stay at download forever. I got to go out and go back into the Market and redo it all over.

Yes, sometimes the apps I am trying to download don't even appear there and sometimes it does. When it says "Installing" sometimes, 1 hour can pass and still nothing... no progress on the notification bar.
In fact, I can't install anything from there, not even using the website version, https://market.android.com/
I had/have this same issue I think its a bug in the market app. I've just flashed the new firmware and it seems to work OK now.
My solution was to press back over and over until I exited the market fully, then start a new instance of it. Works on and off.
Ill let you know if the update solves this issue.

Thanks for the info.
I tried that, still no luck I need to know if this is a widespread issue or not.
I have the EVO and tried to download apps and install them now without any problems.
Also, I have discovered that I can't log in into GTalk either, but I can browse without any issues.

Sounds like an odd issue with your account. Try to check settings, accounts an sync .. and see if anything is amiss. If not, then try to create a new gmail account, and use that to login to market/gtalk. See if there is some confusion as to your phone account and your tablet. Do you have settings>Privacy ticked off for google to back up your apps and sync them? Try disabling if so.
Had same issue and went into settings and had to delete my gmail account and then add it again, worked fine after that!
Thanks for the replies.
1. The Backup and Restore settings are turned off.
2. I have created another Google account and removed the original, still the same problem.
3. The EVO is currently off just in case.
After doing some research, I've discovered that Gtalk have something to do with the Market, if Gtalk can sign in, then the market should works for downloads. If not, then there is a problem.
ok... wtf
After adding a new Google account while replacing the original one, the issue still happened.
Then, I decided for a million times, to make another Factory Reset with my original account again... now GTalk logon and the Market download/install apps
I will keep this thread in mind and report if anything weird happens again.
Android Market hates me. I didn't really want to have to create another gmail account but I have tried every other trick posted and still can't get apps to download.
I had this same problem with my Samsung Fascinate. 3G would download fine but I couldn't get WiFi to work until just recently when I updated the radio that came with the OTA Froyo update plus a new custom rom/kernel. I'm not sure which piece all of the sudden made things work but I was certainly happy. What's so frustrating is that I set up a Droid on the same home network with absolutely no problems from day one.
Amazon App store works fine but many of the apps I want aren't available there. Grrr.

This occurred to me after rooting the TF. I was able to correct it by going into applications and force stop and clearing data on both Market and both google framework services. Then try to restart market, if you don't get a error go back to applications and do it again. Once you get the error reboot, when you try market after the reboot it will ask you to accept terms again and then all is was right again with the world.
I have the same problem. How I can do a Factory Reset?
It was working ok but now it gives an error with the server. Eventually it will download the aplication after trying several times but will fail in the instalation. I have deleted and created again my account with no results.
Welcome to my problem. Another member told me the issue lies with our google accounts and how it syncs up with the market.
I have tried the other methods deleting cache / signing in and out etc. to no avail.
Only solution is to factory reset. Sad thing is it has happened to me 3x in the past 5 days.
I only hope for a solution to this soon.
3 times, that is scary.
Something has surprised me when I upgraded my phone to the new Galaxy S 2 from HTC HD 2 running an Android rom. When I introduced the google account it automaticaly pointed me all the aplications that I had installed in the old phone (free or paid) and give me an easy option to install all quickly. They were identified as my aplications, even they were not installed.
Is this funtion present here? It will remember what aplications I had installed in the transformer before or I will need to look for all of them again?
solution to download apps
press on apps on the home screen. then press on market. this will get you started click on sign in at top right of screen. it should automatically do a sign in with your google account. then go from there

Constant 927 error in play store

Hey guys..I know the 927 error happens randomly, but literally everytime I go into the playstore after flashing a rom
A) it doesn't load any of my apps, either currently on the device, or any of my downloaded apps under "all"
and
B) when I attempt to download ANYTHING it hangs for about 20 seconds and then gives the 927 error.
And it's not ROM-specific...it's happened across three of four different roms. Do you guys have any advice? I've tried the force stop, clear data trick, and the clear data from download manager trick. I'm getting annoyed haha. Any help is greatly appreciated.
I am in the same boat, I've searched everywhere for the answer but nothing works.
this sucks man i get the same thing and no fix it looks like
Did you try clearing data of Google Play Services, too, and removing and re-adding your Google account?

I have seen this support thread before, in most cases you must do a factory reset. It was a couple weeks ago look around the forum, there are some fixes but it did not help this guy and a factory reset is the only option.

Unable to fix "Google play services has stopped"

Recently I have started getting an error saying Google Play Services has stopped, I have tried clearing the cache of both play services and the play store with no luck.
I have also tried clearing data, rolling back to the previous version & even as a last resort I did factory reset. Nothing seems to be working, now I'm thinking it may be related to another app?
Model: 6+ PE-TL10
Build PE-TL10V100R001C900B141
Play services: 7.5.71(1955121-038)
Play Store:5.5.1.2
Anyone else had this problem? or have any other possible solutions? it's happening every few mins now

thanks for the reply. just had a look at that file. Need root to delete though, maybe thats something to look at next..
Hey,
Did you manage to get this fixed? I've got the same versions as you and I'm having the same issue, its gradually getting worse. Message has gone from being occasional to once every few seconds. It's driving me nuts. :silly:
I've tried the normal tips suggested for other phones (wipe cache, un-install updates, shout at it).
Currently looking at one of the update files from needrom incase its an issue with 4.4.2. Failing that will try rooting and failing that i guess its a factory reset and fingers crossed unless anyone has a brain wave.
I assumed it was Play Services itself, which you can't delete to roll back (and test) but it seems to be an app, which I'd uninstall if I knew which one.
I saw someone else with a 6+ at an event recently who had the exact same version of Google Play services and he's not had the problem once. I get it all the time.
Honor is aware of it, although it's been a few weeks now.
I just went thru same problem, different device, but i went thru two hours of hell, until i finally figured it out..... Similarly i went thru same problem last week on my rooted Lenovo ideapad... And today i couldn't remember what the f¥¢k i did to fix it! Finally, with the error "unfortunately the process gapps has stopped" every two seconds and constant notification about Google play service needing update.... But damn device freezing cause button needs hit ok.... Finally i went and managed to between error message ; get into settings - application mgr - all - Google play services.... Clear cache data manage data force stop.... Them Playstore wipe cache +data, uninstall update....
Then back to main settings page, accounts - Google - uninstall all accts. Reboot....
Then i tried (soon as booted) to go play but it was stuck on weird error - no service (?? Was on wifi - wtf??) so Google search and said i need update and that took me to Google account set up... Reinstall account and you get the Google accept play messages and backup /restore checkbox.... After that all was good to go.... Yeehaw!! * Yipee!!!
Sure that there is probably a beer way to do it but i was cussing up a storm and ready to smash it into the wall! Thankfully i was patient and figured out a solution
I had the same problem twice, and i solve it by :
Uninstall the update of play service in app manager. (Clear cache mayby)
Reboot.
Let playstore reinstall the update.
That's all.
No need to delete Google acount.

I experienced same issue on my Honor 6 plus and it drove me mad. 100 times per day the same message popped up in different situations but I could not see any correlation between the appearance of the message and any specific activity on the phone. I only noticed that the message appeared more often when I used any map application like Google Maps or Nokia Here. I tried to fix it with all above mentioned solutions, deactivated most of the Play apps, cleared the app cash of play services and all GApps, cleared the system cash from stock recovery and nothing helped for more than 10 min. Finally I deactivated Google Now (via Google Settings) and suddenly the popping up of this message stopped. No single error message re-appeared since that (48 hours ago). So in my case the issue seems to be solved for now and finally I'm fully happy with the phone.

I am also getting this error since I got lollipop update on my honor 4 x and now on Android 6 on same devices.

Factory Reset Phone Cannot Update/Install Any Apps via Play Store (Stuck on Pending)

Hi Ive recently bought the phone used and factory reset it, but the play store is stuck on pending updates, none of the apps update and i cant install any new apps.
Ive tried clearing cache/memory, reset multiple times, playing with the power settings - anything I could find online.
Nothing seems to work, does anyone know why this is happening? Id like to try sort it out as i only have a certain amount of time to return the phone.
During the intial set up, my SIM works, and i skip all the samsung stuff but that shouldnt be an issue. The play store is also up to date according to the settings.
same issue with OP8T nothing seem to work. wtf
Try this. Delete the cache/data from the Play Store app and the cache/data from the Download Manager app under 3 dot menu/show system app and shut down the phone and wait 5 minutes to restart phone

Delete Google account and recreate it if the above doesn't work.
Alternatively you could download the apps you want on another phone and use ApkExport to copy and transfer them to the affected phone.
I store copies of all my apps like this so I don't need to use Playstore if I do a factory reset.
It saves time and confusion plus preserves apps that Playstore has altered or purged.
