HTC inspire keyboard - HTC Inspire 4G

hey I accidentally deleted my default keyboard for my HTC inspire through titanium backup and now I can't flash any HTC rom because I have no keyboard. Soo can someone please post the default HTC keyboard download please. Thanks.

If you flash another Rom you should get the keyboard back. As far as I know its included with the Rom. Reflash and you should be good.

Try loading. Attn1s stock rooted rom on your SD card and just reboot to your bootloader to flash

I can't help but wonder how you created this thread without a keyboard, considering it says "sent from my inspire 4G using XDA app" at the end of your post.
In any case, last time I checked recovery/hboot doesn't require an on-screen keyboard. Vol+, vol-, and power button.

hahahhahahah nice catch!

I have backups of cyanogenmod7 that I use. Those have a keyboard, but any NEW HTC rom expects my phone to have the keyboard already, but it doesn't because I deleted it on accident. Thank you for pointing that discrepancy out=/ Also to clarify, flashing the rom is possible, but useless because to get another keyboard, I need a keyboard to download a keyboard from the market or to get titanium backup to restore another keyboard.

LOL. What bs. The keyboard is in the rom. Anytime you flash a new rom or reflash one, a keyboard will be installed or restored. Now if you did a backup after you deleted the keyboard, well you wouldn't want to restore that backup. Download and flash the rom itself or a different rom.

[App] Hulu Plus for HTC Sensation

How to install:
(Thanks to ebatr8)
Download the zip from here, unzip the folder and copy all three files (com.hulu.plus-20110723-192253.properties, com.hulu.plus-20110723-192253.tar.gz, com.hulu.plus-bcc9ed16094d067c4c1f3ceb8851f886.apk.gz) into your Titanium Backup folder on your SDcard. Once all three files have been copied start up Titanium Backup and make sure you refresh your app list in case it was running in the background. Go to backup / restore and look for the Hulu Plus 1.0.116 app and click on restore -> App+Data. Once you have installed do not open, let it go back to Titanium Backup to finish copying over the data. Once complete you can exit TB and start running Hulu Plus.
Known bugs and workarounds:
(Thanks to Gunkk)
Problem : I am getting a Buffering.....it appears you are having network issues.
Fix: Check to make sure you do not have AdFree running, if you do turn it off and see if that fixes the problem
(Thanks to robotnoize)
Problem : If you are running a ROM that already comes with AdFree you will get the buffering issue.
Fix : Reinstall AdFree and then disable and it should work fine (Confirmed working with Android Revolution)
Download File:
Link provided by ebatr8: Hulu Plus 1.0.116 verified to work on HTC Sensation
The apk works to browse, but you'll get an unsupported device message as soon as it boots. Nobody has cared enough to modify build.prop or the apk itself (which I don't encourage) since it came out.
You need to use titainium back and restore this app with its data then log in to your account and you should be good to go, it came from the Droid inc 2 forums, unzip and put into the titainium back up folder after you have installed titainium backup and gave it root permissions
http://db.tt/I6QiDqj
It is a backup from a hulu plus supported phone since its already checked for compatibility it lets use it no issues

Which is one of the great things about a development community, especially a great one like XDA. We don't have to wait for "THEM" to support us, we have each other to support "US".

[Q] TB custom rom without 4 in 1 boot option.

Hi,
Are there any custom TB rom without 4 in 1 restart/reboot option ? so when I press reboot/restart it restarts the phone right away like TB stock rom.
Thanks.
I'm not sure how experienced you are, but if you take the stock android.policy.jar and put it in your /system/framework folder of whatever Rom you'll get the resault you wanted.

Fallout ROM Keyboard?

Hey all,
I have had Fallout 4.4/5.0 for a long time and I got attached to the keyboard. Also looks like stock HTC keyboard so it's very nice.
I have searched a lot for this but does anyone have a download for this Fallout keyboard?
It has white keys, remove keyboard button and NO smiley button.
Thank you very much
I'm quite sure fallout just has the stock one v (sense 4a) keyboard.
Sent from my Desire S using xda app-developers app
Hmm thank you but where can I find this keyboard? Can I extract it from fallout somehow?
Search for HTC_IME.apk in /System/App directory - copy it - replace the one from your current ROM with it - reboot - enjoy
P.S. Don't forget to mount System partition as R/W (in Root Explorer)
Sent from my HTC Desire S using xda premium
Hmm a friend extracted his HTC_IME from fallout. I have placed it in /system/app dir and rebooted. Selected the keyboard in settings and got very much force closes from the keyboard. So I went in recovery to fix permissions and rebooted again. Still the same FC problem.
What to do now?
Did you wipe dalvik cache?
Sent from my Desire S using xda app-developers app
No, but I am doing that in a minute
That will not work. Sense Keyboards only work on sense roms. Search the internet for a keyboard named " HTC IME MOD" - I don't know if one can find it in the store. Once I had this installed on my beloved G1 and it worked well.
Sent from my HTC Desire S using xda app-developers app
Ok thank you Steinhund I will search for one!
Edit: I have tried this one: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=728833 but it also force closes...
When I'm back home from my weekend I'll search my laptop for the link. I think it is still somewhere. At the time I found a nice little website where you can cook you very own themed mod. Plus this mod had some setting that made the keyboard even better than the original one.

One last question: How do I completely remove the other keyboards? I already removed the HTC_IME apk from system/app but it's still available in keyboard settings and I also get force closes sometimes (while its not even enabled..)
Thank you very much
Mhhh, IMHO the best solution is to start from scratch. Backup your apps an data, whipe and start with a fresh installed rom. Needs less time than searching for things you don't even know where they came from.

Sounds like something wrong with your flash.
Download rom, verify MD5
Use TWRP 2.3.3.1
Wipe flash, dalvik, system, factory reset
Flash rom.
Don't overclock or alter Voltages.
Should work fine.
I tried that and this isn't the first time this happened. Also my texting is working

So don't restore. It's restoring system apps that aren't compatible with the current rom.
Nvm didn't see the part about tibu.
TB restore on system apps doesn't work. It will cause problems. What you could do if that's your only back up.. move the dialer apk for /data/app and then restore the TB file. It should work without fc then.
System apps are specific to each ROM due to their cache. Therefore causing fcs
