Silicon skin recommendations

Just received an ebay silicon skin for my desire but looks like its for a htc desire 6200?! whatever that is , so it doesnt line up the camera,etc.
Can anyone recommend one that fits the desire well.
Found this one, does anyone have it?

They look like a perfect fit for the nexus one so should fit the desire fine.
Personally im holding out until official htc desire ones are released and not just re badged nexus one accessories.

FloatingFatMan in the 'Cases / screen protectors / accessories' thread got one in an accessories pack. He said it was a tight fit but that it fit well and holes were in the right places etc but it really is just a nexus one case. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=653586&page=13
I sent a query to mobilefun yesterday about the cases and they replied:

Thanks, flexisheild is currently out of stock at mobilefun. Should be back in 2-3 days according to their site.
One word of warning, dont by the silicon skin off ebay for the htc desire 6200. It doesnt fit. Only cost £2 from hong kong but still.

I can confirm that paulruk just said: that HTC Desire 6200 silicone skin definitely does NOT fit the Desire. Luckily, it was very cheap...

Think they've been sent today, but not sure how long they'll take to arrive. They look exactly the same as the mobilefun ones though.

not quite sure what's going on with his listings, but he has the same items listed at different prices
view his other items, then search for "nexus" and sort by Price + P&P: lowest first

They are the same product as the mobile fun ones.
Mobilefun buys them wholesale from china for like $1 a case and then resells them here, the ebay sellers do the same but cheaper.

That one is just a G1 case called differently. It will fit Desire, but it's different from Nexus One case.

Would this case be loose enough to accommodate both the Desire and a gel case, like flexi-shield?

I doubt it because on Nexus One it's pretty tight. Though for that price you might get it and try to stretch it.

I got a mofi case and a Sena leather one... The Sena one is abit too tight lol and the mofi is too loose! I used to have nexus one and i loved the case

I have those two too! Using mofi as it fits better than Sena, but still finding it a bit too loose.

Yeah, I'm just hoping it's compatible with my android phone.

Regarding the difference between the oem pouch for desire and nexus one,
i got a reply from the seller and he said this:
No friend,the one for G7 is a little bigger than this one you were order,do you want to change it?

If that is what you ordered.. it is the wrong one for the G2. They are calling the MyTouch 3G the G2. It was a mistake a lot of people made when the MyTouch came out since it was the 2nd T-Mobile branded google phone.

Aw, I was hoping it was the full shield but it's only the screen protector. Guess I will contact them to see if they plan to release a full cover. They had the screen covers available for at least a week.

Ordered mine on Tuesday I think. Going to switch to g2 today. Received it yesterday

Hopefully they are at least as good the ones from bestskinsever.com which I had on my Nexus.
Zagg doesn't even have full skin yet, and is a rip off anyway. Had zagg full skin on my G1, and their quality is not better than any of these other knock off skins. Just fancier packaging. I like that you could get replacements for the cost of shipping, but it's still cheaper to just buy multiple of these cheaper ones.
I'll post a review once I get it.

Ghost Armor will be available soon. I went to the hut in the local mall and the guy there is the regional director or something, he said he would have it the earliest on Thursday.

Can't find the full-body Zagg shield for the G2. Only the screen cover is available right?

I got the screen shield and it was on my phone for a couple days. The shield was a little big on my screen and started peeling back while in my pocket so I took it off. My screens fate lies with the phone gods now lol

Anyone seen it in Hong Kong?

As per title has anyone seen the sensation available in Hong Kong yet? I'm flying there on Sat for a day trip and its between this and the Desire HD. I REALLY want to get the sensation, but I don't think it's around yet.
I'm sure I spotted it on a website, listed with the price a few weeks back but can't find the web site now. All the others I have found since have it listed but no price and no eta yet
So figured I'd ask in here on the off chance. I think the official release date is 8th June! sod's law that as I can't change my flight.

I saw a seller on ebay located in hongkong. Maybe you can contact the seller and find out if you can just pick it up at their warehouse.

I heard it will be available on 3th of June. I think you can shop around after 4: 00pm cause most of retailer get their inventory around that time.

Cheers guy, found it no problems, couple of places said they'd be getting it later that day.
Paid 4,200 for it, but got 32gb class 10, MicroSD card thrown in too so I'm happy.
Just have to learn how navigate and use it now. 1st Andriod phone so it's gonna be a fun learning experience

I bought mine in Mong Kok. Plenty of places had it in stock. The big stores were expecting it that day.
I think I could've got the price down further if I'd been paying cash. As always cash is king there And if more places had it.
Sadly I was in a hurry else I would've gotten the cash in hand.
Couldn't find accessories for it though, but I'll get those later.
Right now I'm enjoying it, I showed it off to a few friends over the weekend, one guy started to get his iphone out and then saw how fast this is and didn't bother and just gave me the bird lol

Smartone also have the sensation now. Got mine there yesterday, unbranded as well.
The phone came with a load of preinstalled smartone apps. A quick factory reset and all the smartone apps are gone.

I don't use screen protectors, but I did read that the clarivue are better.

I can't wait until a Heidi case comes out for the sensation. I had the case and belt holster for my nexus one and that was the best thing.

i hope seidio is quicker to market with their sensation specific items. they dragged their feet on the G2 products. i wanted a holster and came to them first since i had one for my nexus one from them. after a couple months, i was finally able to get an HTC branded one from HTC's store instead because they never released anything. i dont like my phone in my pocket. im one that prefers it clipped to my belt
