[Q] BIG phones; Are the 80's coming back?

Anyone out there know if our devices will reach the mass they had in the 80's? It seems every new phone with nice specs is BIG. I may have to go without the dual processors and front face cam and stick with the reasonably sized DInc.
this is not a joke. I really am wondering. 4" + screens are nice but...
What kind of devices, from 80th you say? What features were those devices? Then correct to compare the modern devices to computers 80th, but not phones.
I wish that could happen but don´t think so....
I remember the great dimensions of the great HTC Universal!

What?
The app plays sound from the microphone through the headphones with a configureable delay.
It is a weird expierience... but that was the intention.
Bluetooth headsets might not work...

Why?
I was chatting with zurchpet on IRC about app ideas and he thought of how weird it would be to run around hearing everything with a delay.
So yeah... i made it into an app and called it **** my Senses.
... according to the market guidelines, it's "Medium maturity"

Love it!
And yes, it can freak you out a little. After that, it's great fun.
You could be onto a winner here, there's great potential for the future.
Rjdj for IOS comes to mind:
http://rjdj.me/
It may give some inspiration.
Many thanks
Regards
Yeah I think anything with "****" in the title warrants at least a medium maturity level lol. Cool app.
Just uploaded v1.5 to prevent a FC on recording start.
Woahio!
Great funny app!
Setting delay to zero, it's an environmental sound amplifier!
For better senses fu+++ing experience, you could add simple more alienating audio filters to playback
Thanks for sharing, bye.

Sennheiser CX300-II -- ??

Hi,
Is Sennheiser CX300-II, compatiable with i9000 model. I am planning to buy it, but not sure whether it is compatible or not..
yes galaxy i9000 is compatible with any headpohne you can buy...
thanks... recently i bought sony ericsson MH-610. It is not compatiable with i9000
Must have been setup using the iPhone TRRS layout and not the regular one. There are tiny crossover adapters you can get for earphones like this.

Personally, I'm using a set of SoundMagic E10's as they are both inexpensive and high quality. http://www.head-fi.org/t/635436/soundmagic-e10-vs-sennheiser-cx-300-ii
For good quality adapter, check the FiiO LU1 and LU2 adapters.
I am using LU2 with Sony MH1c, which are really fantastic earphones for the price. Have not heard CX300-II, but did hear CX300 and was not impressed with it's sound which lacked details and control.
There is also Sony MH1, which have the SE Xperia pinout, which is the same as in SGS.

I formerly used these for my I9000, and they worked fine. I'm now using the CX400-II for better sound, and they also work fine (also the volume rocker works).
Had them, worked fine, but after 3 months or sth they started to lose their sound and especially their volume!

Headphone

Anybody tried the headphones that comes with the s3 (with volume control) on the note 8 yet? Does the volume work?

I have similar looking ones (can't confirm model number though). They work perfectly.
Apparently there are some knockoff ones floating around. I guess I will need to take the risk since i saw them for like 10 bucks. if not I might get the htc headphones with volume control. These should work fine with the tablet too. i mainly want the controls.

Those are the headphones that came with my international N5100 originally from Kenya. The volume controls work.
