[Issue] Nexus S(Tmobile CM7) Calender Won't Send Email Reminder - Nexus S Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I am using CM7 nightly(think 106) and the default stock calender(not using Gmail calender) that comes with Nexus S. It used to send email reminders for Calendar events I had set in 'Guests'. It no longer does this. Can anyone help? I love this feature and can't understand why it's not working anymore.
Nevermind...didn't have calender synced to google.

Another Calendar App

Hi Guys
Do you know any independent alternative calendar app?
I am currently using and syncing two Gmail accounts but Nexus One allows to use and sync only one calendar so I am looking for a new one.
Any ideas?

[Q] Exchange 2010 Calendar on my Galaxy Nexus

Hi...
I have a new Galaxy Nexus. Everything is fine so far. I different mail accounts installed (gmail, pop2, MS Exchange 2010).
The mails and the contacts from my Exchange account are shown and synced without problems. But the calendar does not show at all. Its not even listed in my available calendars nor is it in the list of the calendars to sync.
My phone is running on Android 4.0.1, Baseband I9250XXKK1...
I hope someone can help me... I do not want to use a 3rd party product. I like the look and feel of the calendar app.
Thank you!

Hi Timmy...
Thanks for the answer. The sync with email and contacts works without any problem...
I tried the touchdown App yesterday. There also the calendar sync works fine. But I would like to use the builtin Calendar and not a 3rd party App.
Thank for the support!

[Q] Captivate ICS 4.0.4 won't sync with Outlook 2010

The ICS calendar app won't sync with Outlook and there is no option to add an Outlook account - only Google and Exchange. Is there another apk that will fix this issue so I can add an Outlook account?
touchdown
I use touchdown app in active sync mode for that, which is a nice outlook ui anyway. May be some custom roms come with the proper encryption support if you search.
I use Google Calendar Sync(http://support.google.com/calendar/bin/answer.py?hl=en&answer=89955), it's installed on my desktop, and sync's with Google Calendar, so when my device sync's with Google Calendar, I'm good to go. Been using it for a long time now and works great
I can't use Google mail, contacts or calendar due to the security issues of using cloud storage for sensitive information.
I wonder if using the calendar app from froyo will work. It synced directly with Outlook.
I'll give Touchdown a look. Thanks for the suggestions.

[Q] Exchange with Google Calendar

I am having issues with my Exchange work calendar and the Google Calendar app. I had just switched to using the Google Calendar app to test it out. I can add an event on the Google Calendar app for my Exchange account just fine. But when I get into Outlook on my computer and check my calendar it acts like that event was added by someone else and I was invited to it. Has anyone else had this issue? I didn't have this issue with the default Samsung calendar app on the phone.

I had issues with Google calendar app syncing to my exchange as well. I finally just gave up and went back to the Samsung calendar

That's what I will have to do too if nobody has a solution for this.

[Q] Corporate Exchange (ActiveSync) not working on Nexus 5 with 4.4.4. How to solve?

Hi Guys,
I just received a Nexus 5, which i want to use for work.
Before this, I have used a S2 where Exchange ActiveSync worked perfectly.
Which means:
- email synchronization fully working
- outlook phonebook fully working
- calender/agenda synchronization fully working
I am trying to achieve the same with my new N5, but it does not give me the option to add a 'Exchange Activesync' account. I have been able to set up an account thats called 'Business'. It also says it synchronizes all three subjects, but it doesn't.
Only email is working for me.
I have no synchronized phonebook, as well as an synchronized agenda/calender.
I am currently using MailWise to sync my agenda and phonebook, but its not perfect imo.
Do you guys have any experience with setting up a corporate exchange (outlook) account on a N5? Any tips how to solve my problems?
Let me know, thanks in advance!
