1600mah Andida Battery For Motorola BP6X - Milestone 2

hey guys,
just wanted to let you know that i've found this website where you can buy this item for only $8.49 - bargain!
i have used andida batteries in the past for 2 other phones and they've not only increased battery life but they are also quite reliable. (eg. My x10 mini pro used to heat up when charging but with the andida it didn't)
so here is the website . check it out:
search in google - obostore 1600mAh andida bp6x
(dunno why server wont let me put a website here)
hope you all find it useful!
i need to wait for mine to get here which will take 2 weeks.
i'll update everyone on its performance when i can
Will i need new Back Case?
Sent from my T-Mobile G1 using Tapatalk
the website saids it fits original device.
so no back cover needed apparently!
Personally, I'd be wary about these knock-off batteries (especially being so cheap as well!).
me too! but i've used andida batteries for the last 2 phones i've had
and they not only worked better but lasted longer!
obviously i will check the labels and make sure its a legit battery.
still waiting for it to arrive!
stock batt is 1400mAh, so what's the profit from 200mAh more?

Click to collapse
It is an increase of 14%
its not a bad increase. if you can get 24hrs out of the standard battery then you can get nearly 3 and half hours more with this..
I really don't trust on "higher batteries".
Battery is a thing that, if anything gets wrong, your phone could be damaged.
battery
i bought 1 of the batteries but i have a small problem since as soon as i put on the phone instead of the battery indicator i get a ? and when i charge it it says battery cannot be charged please use original motorola battery.
any help?
any help pls?
Milestone 2 works well only with original battery bp6x and bp7x, probably because of an embedded control chip
You can charge your non-original battery with a external dock, there's nothing else you can do
have you tried contacting the supplier and asking them? that would be the obvious first port of call! maybe its a duff one.
I will try that i am just asking here to see if anyone had the same issue

It is well known (at least in the german speaking board I am mostly active on) that the Milestone 2 only accepts Original BP6X (maybe BP7X? never heard of them) Batterys.
As patton82 wrote, you can charge it externally and use it, thou you won't see how much percent you have left nor charge it inside the MS2, so at best it is a "emergency battery" to carry with you charged.
There are problems even with "original" BP6X due to a lot of illegal copys of them which look legit at first (differences are quite small) and some online-shops sell them even without knowing they are not original ones.

thanks for your help then
google search
I had da exact same problem with a non-original 2400mAH battery. I Inserted it and it worked fine jus' didn't show da battery percentage, simply not being able to read the battery because it wasn't an original, and jus' showing a "?" icon instead.
It was very annoying, seen as I was excited to have an extended battery to make up for the POOR Milestone 2 battery, but in the end I jus' contact the seller and was issued a refund. Brought it off Amazon frm a third party seller by da way.
Anyway, would flashing a new/specific rom GREATLY improve the battery life of my Milestone 2? Or is there an alternative extended life battery that is compatible. Someone please help, and sorry for da story. Thanks

Does anyone know where it is possible to get original motorola BP6X batteries for sure? Preferably not for a price worth half the price of the phone now
I've few of those ultra-cheap chinese batteries as a backup battery in case my main battery dies. However It looks like my main battery won't hold charge as when new and I would like to have that original battery capacity once again (plus cheapo battery backup ofc)
I bought this battery and it's amazing. It lasts for days using a stock ROM with Juicedefender... I guess custom ROMs won't need JD.

battery life warranty issue

Alright...this is not to complain about battery life, or how long your battery lasts..i promise..let me tell you my story
My phone got stolen, the warranty people sent me a new one...everything was good ...loaded my usual custom rom..and put my chichitec battery in...
But im getting really bad battery life..so I reversed to stock rom..and getting the same thing..Im getting like max 11 hours on it..but it seems weird that the discharge is (to me) feeling a little accelerated. Im am using this new phone just like i was usuing the other one (the stolen one) yes i understand there are diferent variables however I have kept them the same for the most
Has anyone heard or had the experience of a bad phone that is eating too much juice??? remember..this thread is NOT about the battery itself but the PHONE
thanks!
If the battery is new just give it a few full cycles

it aint..thats the worse part ..my chichitec I used to use it on my old phone...could having a new phone act the same way, meaning because its a new phone it needs a couple cycles?
Ok i recommend flash your custom rom and drain battery to below 20% rhen charge for 8 hrs the use the app called battery calibrater from app market then while its on 100% after 8 hrs keep charger plugged in and calibrate the battery following instructions in the app and use normal one or two time and let us no

roger that! will do! thanks for the advice

[Q] Refurbished G2X battery

So I finally dumped my mytouch 4g after I got a good deal on a "new" refurbished g2x. The thing is, when I open the back, it is clearly not a stock battery. It looks like a Chinese one and says it only has 1300 MAH instead of 1500. I used to work at a t-mobile store and I remember seeing one other refurbished g2x from t-mobile with the same battery.
Does anyone else have the same battery with a refurbished model, and is the battery life comparable to the stock battery?
Where did you buy this "refurbished" device? Genuine refurbs from T-Mobile or LG will always come with a new battery. Refurbs from others sources will have the original battery that came with the phone, a new genuine battery, or any old battery they can get their hands on. Sounds like you got the latter. Do yourself a favor and get your self a genuine battery. The chinese ones almost always have bogus temperature sensors and are usually less than the capacity stated on the battery. Even if legit, 1300mAH is not going to last you a full day on this phone.
i got a refurb with everything stock (battery etc)

HTC Sensation isn't charging fully

Hey,
I have had an HTC sensation for about a year, just recently it has started to not fully charge even when plugged in over night. It happens on both my phone and my wife's, I have tried flashing different roms and wiping battery stats with no success. I will plug the phone in most nights about 11 P.M. and get up about 6 A.M and it only has about 82% charge. I have tried several different charges as well.
Any help is appreciated.
Thanks!
Out of curiosity, have you tried switching to another battery to see if it's the battery or the device it's self? If you put a new battery in and the problem still persists then it's likely a problem with the device. But I would check to make sure it's not the batteries going bad. Strange both devices are doing same thing!
Sent from my HTC Sensation
It does indeed sound like the battery, maybe you can try your wife's battery in your phone?
Because both devices are doing same thing I would NOT use wife's battery to test. I'd get a new one for the two of you. Hopefully it will solve the issue. Are you both still using stock battery? You might want to give anker a try. It's a extended battery and under 20 dollars! I'm really hoping this will solve the issue. Let us know keep us posted. Best wishes!
Sent from my HTC Sensation
Yes we are both still using stock batteries. Thanks! After your initial post I found 2 Ankers on amazon for $30 so I am going to try that, I will post my results when I receive them a few days from now. What was so strange was that it went from charging to full in 2 to 3 hours to 82% in 7 hours.
It was the battery, a cell had gone bad. I purchased the Anker batteries (1900) and it charges in about an hour and a half and lasts 16 hours on full use, plus I sit in an office where it searches for 4g all day if I allow it. Over all it was a vast improvement and all I had was a bad battery.
Thanks for your help
So glad you got it fixed!

[Q] what battery should i get ? for htc inspire 4g

i have the original HTC battery and the life on it sucks. it runs out way to fast and i can barely do anything with out the battery dropping drastically
so my question was what is the best company brand battery that isn't fake and makes my Battery last longer ?
I bought my phone used and turned out the battery was shot. I bought a lenmar for $29 CND through the source and so far over 30 hours on the first charge with more than 2 hours screen on time. Very happy.
