Keyboard dock bindings in FPse Help - Eee Pad Transformer Themes and Apps

I am having trouble setting up the keyboard bindings in FPse. It seems like the only keys that work are the arrow keys, none of the letter keys will work when they are bound to actions.
All of the buttons bind perfectly fine in other emulators like snesoid and gameboid. Does anyone know of a way to get the keyboard dock to bind correctly in FPse ?

Really ? No one else has this problem ? Does anyone else even use the keyboard for FPse ? For me it was one of the major reason I wanted the dock.

Got the same issues in all of Tiger King's emulators
The non-character keys work (dpad, spacebar, shift, alt, etc.) but the letters and numbers don't ;(
Wonder if the 3.1 update fixes this.

I have updated to 3.1 already.

NOVA

Everybody knows nova from gameloft as it is one of the best android games but I have a question, is there any 3d party software/hack anything to map the keys to physical buttons? I am only interested in the fire button mapped to the camera key on a Motorola Milestone. This would make the game a lot better. Thank you in advance
It should be possible yes, i dont know how much work it would need though
Never knew N.O.V.A was on Android.
Must check it out
I do think that they should add physical button support.
Problem if it comes with Mapping done it would need to be user mapping because of the array of android devices with differet buttons in different places

True, but it could just be as easy as the other apps on the market that enable user-customizable key-mapping. I have a Galaxy S line phone, so no physical keyboard. But coming from an HTC Fuze, I can see why this would be handy
Gameloft
I sent an email to the gameloft team suggesting that this feature should be added. I hope we can all enjoy this feature for their games.
Get a bluetooth controller

transformer running quake 3 mouse and keyboard!

Modified link since i need eight posts before i can post an outside link
It works great! except cursor acts like a touch screen function. The keyboard works flawlessly. Also, using a bluetooth mouse.
Hopefully the developer of kwaak3 can address this.

[Q] Best shell app for transformer

So I was wondering what is the best shell access app out there, connect bot seems to be pretty nice but it seems to work a bit weird with the keyboard dock (tab is actualy shift, control keys don't work etc.) is there a better alternative?
And by better I mean something that works well with the keyboard dock. Having to work with a lot of unix servers it's really annoying to get used to new key bindings.
any suggestions would be greatly appreciated
I don't know about a better one, but Hacker's Keyboard (install via market) is designed with connectbot in mind.
isn't that just another software (touchscreen) keyboard?
i need something to work with the keyboard dock
android terminal, or connectbot
and hacker keyboard
try switching out of the default asus keyboard. connectbot was weird for me too, but then i switched my softkeyboard to thumbkeyboard and weirdly enough, the hardware keyboard works normally now.
I don't need a signature.

It's quite weird but that seems to work lol...
BTW many thanks, this will make my life (or rather work) much easier
I wasn't able to get it working with ThumbKeyboard (my favorite for non-dock keyboard use), but after looking into various tablet optimized variants, I found out someone modified ConnectBot for the Transformer already:
https://github.com/lorantkurthy/connectbot
https://github.com/downloads/lorantkurthy/connectbot/ConnectBot.apk
Everything works for me with this except alt and escape, but search sends escape, so hurrah. (You have to go into options and turn on Transformer keyboard.) It's even tablet-optimized.
I'm using Irsii. It's a kind of connectbot fork.
Tab works directly on keyboard, I just find that the onscreen control button could be bigger...
I use Better Terminal Emulator Pro https://market.android.com/details?id=com.magicandroidapps.bettertermpro&feature=search_result
It's the best I've found so far and includes the bash shell with working tab complete, esc chars etc. Also includes a fully working ssh client.
Hi,
do you know some app terminal which can select text with characters shift+arrow?

[Q] minecraft with keyboard dock?

has anyone gotten minecraft controls to work with the transformer's keyboard dock? As in you can move using asdw and the arrow keys? I just want to know because the option to not use touch input is greyed out in the options on minecraft
thanks in advanced =)
Does not work for me. I noticed that when I tried using the WASD controls, only the W registered, but it changed to another block.
I've already contacted Mojang about this, keyboard support is planned in a future version.

[Q] keyboard functions

Hey guys, I was wondering if there is a way to play games on miniclip for example on a tablet, the games require the arrow buttons on a keyboard, any ideas?

I don't know about miniclip games, but, for typing, Perfect Keyboard have the cursor keys (arrows). You have to swipe up on the space key to display them.
Probably also other advanced keyboard app have them.
