Ok, not much of a surprise. It's going to be very hard to justify getting an iPhone 5 on Verizon if it doesn't have LTE.
I like how fast LTE is going over the country too, Sprint still has almost no 4g support here in Toledo.
I consistently test at downspeeds of 30Mb/s and upload speeds of 15Mb/s in my home town of Orange County, CA. Love LTE!!
wow, I was just happy to finally have 3g, and looking forward to 4g, but wow on the lte speeds
I'd love to know where that 37mbps download happened at.
Somewhere in the midwest or central US according to the site.
Still mind boggled how it is in Erie, PA and Rochester, NY but not Buffalo? In rochester it IS awesome though

No way that was real, sounded like one of those speedtests done on the Thunderbolt that had the issue with caching download/upload data from the speedtest and giving false reports.

It's to prove that it wasn't faked, .13mb download while a 4G connection is active.
AT&T
1.13Mbps - Download
.61Mbps - Upload
439ms - Ping
I actually thought it would've been worse.
And...
2.80Mbps - Download
.44Mbps - Upload
444ms - Ping
just got this, this morning on sprint.
Hot desert springs, ca
I get horrible speeds now.
Still rocking the Incredible with the XDA Premium App.
Ive been wondering what kind of speed the verizon 4g users have been getting. Ive looked in a couple different forums and cant find any threads on it. Anyone willing to share?
Well a couple of threads down, there was a concern about the quality of HTC's anntenas. You could look there for a bunch of screenshots. Here is mine from then.

On a good night in Columbus OH I see almost 22 Mbps. On average it is around 9. My friend has a Bionic and he sees a litte better speed, but regardless it's really fast.

In Sunnyvale, CA. Not bad...
Is speedtest still suffering from the buffer issue that it originally had? They were reporting a buffer issue that inflated the upload speeds.
Not anymore

IMO, the Speedtest app is NOT reliable or accurate. Instead, use http://speakeasy.net/speedtest.
Some results of mine... Speedtest will typically be more than 50% lower

Anyone experiencing extremely slow data speeds on LTE as well as 4G on AT&T in NYC? I used to pul down 20-30MB/s and now I am only getting at max 200KB/s for the past 3 days.
Could be throttled?

There's another post about NYC having lte issues

i've only used 1.5gb of data so far and never received a message regarding throttling. Weird. I'll give AT&T a call to see what's up.
try changing ur apn.

It seems fine to me. My uploads could be a little faster.

Too much throttling, or not throttling the unlimited users enough.
That's cause there are two million children who think their phone is a TV.
Simpup, thanks for the link. That is exactly what is happening to me. Called AT&T and they claim i am not being throttled.
What I find weaird is that during the storm Verizon towers had no issue at all I have 1 iPhone in my house and my GS3
we both have service issues suddenly out of nowhere.
This is what I got , I think I was roaming on sprint for like a minute and this showed up
Edit: few of my friends told me they have same issue

With losing cell service / no data at all.
Anyone else?
How do you figure the Verizon towers had no issue? The service was all effed up during the storm. I lost data completely for periods of time and service completely at times.

My data was fine the next day. Tho I'm up in NH where as you're in the middle of where it hit pretty much.
I have a Samsung S8 Active and I'm getting incredible upload speeds but average download.
I'm on the largest and fastest mobile carrier here in Australia, anyone got any ideas what might be causing this? Always thought DL should be the same or faster than UL?

Weird thing is you can see the download speed spikes quite high, then it just plummets.
On a similar issue in a different location I had my mate who is on the same network carrier sit next to me at a shop. We both ran a speedtest, he has a Google Pixel 2 (on specs the phones are almost identical, mine should be slightly faster). His hit 100Mbps+ for download while mine only hit 52Mbps.
double-post
So just to bump I've discovered that Carrier Aggregation is enabled on the Samsung G892A but it never connects it is always showing in the Service menu as CA: Not-Config so it is enabled but not connected even though the local carrier allows CA/VoLTE/VoWifi.
Does anyone have any ideas on how to get these working?
