Ok...after you hear about the caps from others. I would NEVER mention all caps to anyone....seriously....this is tehe G2x forum. To get to the Sensation forum, scroll up, on the right hand side, Find your device...type Sensation...you can use all caps if you wish...and boom there ya go .

Almost picked up a sensation today but wasn't really impressed with it. The screen was average, only thing good was the larger screen and unibody...my g2x screen looked better.

Would you really buy another LG phone after the way they have handled the G2X? I love my G2X but LG will not get more business from me when the time comes to get a new phone in a year or so....

Android Revolution 4G with Buzz 1.6ghz kernel
haha amazing
I used both for a week and ended up keeping the inspire. My issue was mostly blur and the smaller screen size. It was also one of the most plasticky phones I have ever held.
yea I thought atrix was gonna be all that and a bag of potato chips but was a let down whe felt it in hand next to my captivate as it has same size screen everything on screen looked smaller. and way plasticy feel which feels cheap to me, why put that kinda hardware into a phone only to neglect outside not only that they made accessories of better quality then the phone itself.
And very nice on those scores dude. How stable is it running with that setup?

It's actually really stable. Just a huge battery killer, but the Inspire 4G has bad battery life anyways. I think the Android Revolution rom helps out a lot for the battery though, especially when underclocking. For the past couple of hours I've tried out 880mhz and it's ultra smooth and it seems to be getting great battery

Amen to Android revolution. I'm running the the leeDroid Kernel though and have it at the stock 1ghz and my up time right now is right around 15 hours and I'm at 51% battery with heavy use. (heavy use meaning I go through 100-150 MB a day)

Yea I did flash the performance patch but then after I also flashed the Buzz 1.6ghz kernel . I'm getting solid 2000 scores on quadrant with 880mhz btw

My Atrix went back also. Just didn't live up to the hype other than speed, which isn't enough of a difference anyhow.
Inspire 4g is a MUCH more polished, and enjoyable to use.

i am really happy that i didnt go with the atrix like i initially wanted to. i didnt even bother with looking at it. i didnt want to cheat on HTC. they currently own the market as far as android devices go, and theyre great as far as releasing code goes.
I posted a benchmark of about 2925 on Android Forums in response to someone saying that the Inspire would be irrelevant once the Atrix was updated to take advantage of the dual core processor. The excuses were it was either a fake pic, not an Inspire, or a bad program.
Ok so I'm pretty content with how my phone looks rite now. I think it looks badass rite now. I'm running cm7. My lockscreen is ripple lock, my theme Chooser and adw theme is synergy. U can grab all these in the market. Oh and my live wallpaper is vortex galaxy .....let's see yours

Very very happy. Hell I just saw a article on the g2x having issues, mentioned screen bleed which I don't have, reboots which also don't have and battery heat issues.
Lol id rather have all of those vs the sensation dust, dead pixels, unforgivable wifi, screen not responding to fast swypes, way hotter than the g2x, two different screens which wash out baaaaad.
G2x ftw. Only issue I ever had on ny last g2x was a few reboots out a month. Meh no biggie
And ya know what smashpunks alot of people dog the **** outta this phone but for LG and there first big android phone I think its beautiful. Everything about it. Yea they should have this update out and definitely should have did more qa. But for being LG it is not a bad phone at all I know some peeps are sour about the g2x but I have no complaints never really did I love my phone and I'm super happy. **** HTC is known way better then LG in terms of phones and even tho the g2x came out 2 months earlier it was still a better device. Which is crazy cuz we all know how fast new phones get phased out......think about it

I think people were just too hard on LG cause it was the first high end smartphone of theirs. Again the sensation issues wow. I think its cool if not many more g2xs are sold, kind of gives us that love it our own special place.lol but for real, the sensation features had me at hello, but once those wore off the performance just degraded and I missed my g2x. I sure love mine. Especially with cm7. That brightness in the scroll bar like the vibrant is genius ...
I had a n1, people dogged it non true MT screen, and now look at it, still big. People dogged the vibrant, look at it, still strong and part of the elite screen club and its gourmet wow., now this, dog it, but it flunking flying.
Long live the few g2xs left and strong.
I've been wondering if I should switch my g2x out for a mytouch 4g slide. I like the g2x but its been causing problems ... not to mention the horrible battery life
Ive always liked the mytouch brand and I believe the new slide is dual 1.2ghz Processer.

I don't really think there's a reason to have a physical keyboard anymore unless your a female with long nails. A keyboard just adds more bulk to the phone. In the end, your going to have to figure out which phone suites your needs better.

It's not that I don't want the g2x. Its just too many problems you know? And an actual keyboard comes in handy sometimes. I'll do come more research on it, I don't thing the new slide is that thick. I could be wrong.
What I really want is my iPhone 4 back.. I was usingg it for almost a year and then it took a dive in the lake.. now it boots up to the iTunes logo if I have it plugged in but then halfway through a restore, I know its not totally fried cuz then it wouldn't even turn on.

I like the Slide better than the G2x. In fact, now I like most phones more than it. I haven't noticed *too much* that I lost .3 inches of screen. I can't say that i would like it more if LG actually released a proper update though.

I don't know. Each blog I've read states something different but now that the device is close to being released, none of them are speculating. Everything spec wise is just a rumor at this point. I asked my step father who sometimes knows these things but he didn't know. He said he would ask someone who might though. He did tell me that Samsung would be releasing the phone on every carrier on the same day or atleast that's what they want to do.
In my opinion, I think every GSII variant in the US will have the Exynos CPU. I would think they want each region to have the same CPU.
The battery cover on that Hercules looms like its brushed metal.

Meh, i'm so sly , i managed to talk my mom into nabbing one for me her and maybe my dad if he wants, for they are blackberry users, but amazed with what I do on my Androids, so I said this is definitely the phone for them, AS LONG as it is on T-Mobile

lol that alone make some of us pro SmartPhone users laugh. As SamSUX and top notch quality should not even be put in same line much less paragraph. It will be just another typical Nexus based POS that is like always behind the curve as always. Just watch when it comes out it will already be outdated like iPhoney.

I have heard nothing but RAVE reviews about Samsung devices, from friends/ Co workers who are on all levels of the "technical pyramid" never an issue... Guess you are all hating cause they are better then HTC at the moment (i'm an HTC lover as well but come on, GORILLA GLASS!!!)

It's okay man, it's impossible to convince people once they become fanboys of one thing. I love HTC too, probably will always stick to HTC. But I gotta give props to where it's due! That new Nexus is going to be so sick. Especially since it's pure Google, which means you won't have to rely on stupid Samsung for updates.

Im with you.. I used to jump from HTC to another
HTC Pro -> HTC Hero - > HTC Google N1
and I wanted another HTC but at least in my 3G band frequency (850) the best option in the market was IMO the Galaxy S (at the time I got it) and now the Galaxy S2 which I have. Everything was perfect (except no flash on the S and slowness I didnt know existed until using a dual core cell) but I still missed and currently miss the HTC feel to the cell phones with their designs and metal body at least on the N1.
I cant wait for the Nexus Galaxy or is it Nexus Prime after all? Im gonna go from my S2 to that once the price is right

So I took the Amaze home last night to test for 24hours and its a very fast device the extra 256ram in a way helps but not by much the 1.5Ghz dual core clock speed comes in handy and it beats my sensation on quadrants at around 2400 2500.The screen is pushed up for some reason I will post pics of that later now the Camera WOW is all I can say this is where the upgrade comes into play im not a camera guy but this camera is great...good job HTC All in all if you already own a Sensation there's no need to jump to this device as we can reach the same speeds with a Rom now. I will say Sense has been optimize to run now and it shows but im still not a sense man myself Cm7 or Miui Ftw..now for people on a single core device with a upgrade this is your device if you love htc or you have the Gs2 choice but this thing looks a world better then the tmobile Gs2..any who i have to get back to testing this badboy.

I do have friends on the inside @ tmobile lol maybe u should take some time out and check the marketplace....my friends aren't dumb enough to risk their jobs just to get me a device early supposedly like u. As stated before u never had the sgs2 u just HELD the box and snap pictures I can go do that now at a nearby tmobile store and say I have it.
