i have a sensation 4g unbranded, i'm on vacation, but i'm downloading the file...
Downloading now! My phone should be EU Unbranded, so will try it out as soon as its done

Although you do have to consider, maybe htc have patched up possible exploits in this instead of bringing us an unlocked bootloader.

Hehe I am downloading it at a rate of 1.00MB/sec (I know a website which allows me to download at full speed). It will be done in under 2 minutes.
I will extract it and see if there is a new bootloader version. But I am a bit wary of flashing it, want to know a bit more about it before I make irreversible changes to my £500 phone..

Looks like the same hboot as the Orange rom so I wouldn't get your hopes up.
also when you say it contains lots of new goodies, all pyramid roms have had those files so I don't think you can tell that looking there.

I is a new ruu for our desire, build number as radio number are there, nothing to add i belive, it is not a custom rom which need to be described or have any screenshots.
It is for sure a carrier ruu, not a WWE...
then it is a RUU so dont flash it, or you will loose your root and spl...

try using a goldcard
Why would you want to flash a carrier-specific RUU unless you're on that carrier? Makes no sense. This is really for devs to pick apart and make new ROMs out of
most people have to learn the hard way.

Hi, I have found mentioned on gsmhosting forum about new RUU for ChaCha phone.

I think not if you have unbranded phone. But if you got phone from carrer, you will need to debrand first, and for do this, you will need to have s=off.
Right now still looking for this soft to download, and it is hard to find it...

This is not that. 1.25 is easy to find, and this is for Asia. We are looking 1.33.
Radio is that same, but we looking for whole firmware, becouse radio can be changed simply and is available here.
Any news from Rom 1.33?
I can not believe in the big Internet this file can not be found for download.

Hi, I have a UK ChaCha tied to T-Mobile. I want to wipe the phone entirely of all T-Mobile software and return it back to how it came from the factory so it will work on any UK network but specifically O2 for the time being.
I`ve been told to hunt down a "clean unbranded factory rom".
Is this available yet and if so how is it done?
Please could somebody also tell me what S=off or S=On means too.
I build PC`s occasionally so not entirely useless but this is all very new to me.
Any advise would be greatly appreciated.

If so (and you're S-ON), don't upgrade, you'll lose the gingerbreak root vulnerability.

It's very important that You have to flash a same or similiar RUU version as your phone came with. FAILURE TO DO THIS MAY BRICK YOUR PHONE.

how do i know what was my old RUU?? just remember my old baseband and that's it, tried to find one with that kind of baseband , but found a lot of results , which one should i choose?

Your RUU should be for sensation (not LE), Europe, your original baseband.
You may be able to identify it from the list above from these 3 pieces of information although you ideally match it to the software version also.
Do you have a nandroid of your original rom to get that?

Hey, I have backup of my original firmware. How can I use those files the right way since i have s-off, firmware, radio,.....
OK there's a RUU in the aforementioned dev sticky that seems to match to me:
RUU_Pyramid_HTC_Europe_1.45.401.2_Radio_10.56.9035.00U_10.14.9035.01_M_
So that's for standard sensation, Europe (don't see any IT specific RUU except a Voda branded), no carrier branding, for your radio version quoted above. That's what I would use.

For a second I thought it was JB ROM for the One S. What is it taking it so long for a JB Rom to be leaked for the One S? The one X had JB based custom Roms for a while!

It is a stock 4.03 (1.11.701 Build) but this was very hard to find for me (sorry, i speak no Chineese ) so i thinked i post it it here... Much S3 Devices swapped via hungary general distributor to the EU and are here available for about €300.- new here in german speaking area!
So the problem is they all are S-ON and it is no SuperCID for S3 available till now (online tutorials failed for me). So if u ulock bootloader, flash recovery and flash a custom ROM you can´t go back without the right RUU for your CID...
If someone have a idea how i can get SuperCID or change my CID to "HTC__102" (Europe WWE) it would be great!

What about the standard procedure: unlock, root, then pull block mmcblk0p4 and search for the CID (i would guess its at the exact same offset), hex edit that block and then push it back to the chip.
That doesn't work on the VilleC2?

If you Upgrade to 4.04 ,You can not flash RUU 4.03 because Hboot is height than old version 4.03.Please waiting RUU 4.04 HTC WWW Asia or change CID complete for S3 version guy .:laugh:
