I am being told by everyone I talk to that they are getting a very bad echo. I usually talk on wifi calling, and had no echo problem on my mytouch 4g on wifi calling.
Anyone else with the same issue?

Yep I can confirm this does happen. Both my ex and my friend said it happened. Turning on speaker helped it though but it eventually comes back. It sucks having to talk on speaker.

I have issues receiving calls now. If they don't leave a voicemail then I don't know anyone called. This has been a rampant problem since updating. Thankfully very few calls that I make or *receive* have issues.

I missed three calls last night also, if not for texting, I would never have known.

It seems to work well for me, too -- when it works. That is, I have the same problem now that I did before the update: after a day or two of uptime, Wi-Fi Calling won't connect. It says "weak wifi signal," even with full bars on the signal strength icon. If I turn Wi-Fi Calling off and then back on, it sits forever trying to connect. The only remedy is to reboot the phone. It's kind of a pain; I don't get a very good signal inside my house, and the availability of Wi-Fi Calling was a major factor in my decision to upgrade from my Nexus One to the G2x.
i just made a call dont use the phone on it much and it was cutting in and out thought it wsa a bad connection . just gonna chalk this up as a lesson learned. its obvious complaining hasnt produced much of a result. No more LG for me.
and LG does not stand for like garbage- there are many that find garbage useful.
After 5 minutes it seems my call is disconnected - but thats been the case on every T-Mobile phone I've owned. Good thing I don't use the phone too often.
Does anyone else have a problem where people calling you hear an echo? It doesn't matter who I talk to or of I am on WiFi calling, everyone I speak to complains of an echo, but I can't hear it.

Has anybody else had issues of people hearing echoes while using WiFi Calling? A lot of people who call me experience this? I'm on ICS 3.4.0, if that helps

Yes, I have people telling me they hear an echo when I use WiFi calling all the time.

Anybody know about this? I tried using a different WiFi calling version, it eliminates the echo but it loses connection more or won't connect at all I

Is it all the time? When my gf uses her phone through the car speakers with the aux to talk to me, I sometimes hear my voice echo.

it is all the time, no using bluetooth or anything, jsut regular call, it's done this on stock ICS ROM, and every TW ROM since...
I just traded it in for a new one today (since was within 14 days) it did this on the two testers in the store and on the new one, so to me. its the phone.
after much research, it seems this helps

Hey guys I'm running the cataclysm ROM with Franco r25 kernel. Every time I'm on the phone with someone they say I sound very muffled. But when I do a audio recording of myself it sounds clear. I'm also on T-Mobile. Would it be T-Mobile or the phone?

This could be one of a few things:
1. It could be your network
2. You may be speaking wry loudly into the microphone
3. It could be a microphone issue like other people are having.
Personally I would believe it's a software issue that Google will hopefully address soon.

Here's the thing my fiance and I are both in T-Mobile. She hears me very as if I "put a pillow on top of my phone" so she says. When I talk to others they say the same thing. Now here's the weird thing when I record a voice memo it sounds crystal clear. I would think if the voice memos sound good. Then phone calls should sound good as well.

Do you wear a hat or something or maybe you are covering the top microphone with your finger? I heard that complaint when i'm laying in bed with the phone pushed up against the pillow.
