Hello 2.3.4 users,
Here comes the first theme for Ginger bread 2.3.4. This is based on theme-the-Legend-X . As of now only Framework-res.apk, twframework.apk and SystemUI.apk are themed. I am attaching the screen shots from the original theme. The full credit goes to creators of this theme S39 and the theme X Legend group. I have only ported it. Please do not use it on Froyo, Will be releasing it soon for Froyo 2.2.1-XXKB3.
Download the file, unzip onto SDCARD and put them in the appropriate location on your phone, reboot.

Edit: Guy as promised earlier the Froyo version for XXKB3 is here. Its really difficult to port GB theme to Froyo.
This version has lot of changes, before applying jjust make sure to check the update.zip what items you are going to modify...incase you do not want to modify just take out that item and resign the zip. Please remember this works on only deodexed XXKB3 FW.

Thanks @ bala and @ krraazzy. I had just made it for fun sake, was trying to theme GB for first time. Thought of sharing it here, though it is not complete, it looks good compared to bland look of the stock theme. But will surely try to port complete theme once we have fully working stable GB.

Are you on gingerbread 2.3.4 or froyo 2.2.1 this theme is meant for gingerbread 2.3.4 only

Also having problem with Lookout and Quick Exit in notification bar as their font is black.

Why dont you guys make use of modded recovery by skin. Alternatively, Yes method remains the same as earlier. But just see that you put the contents the way they are packed. I mean in the same of system folder as their arrangement in the ZIP using root explorer.
You have to use contents of system folder only. the Meta-Inf is for recovery update zip.

It seems that a lot of people like my battery icons, every time I post a screen shot somewhere someone always asks "what battery is that?"
So...
These are MetaMorph themes and they work with the latest Sense builds. Your ROM must already have the battery percent on your ROM already for these to work.
NOTE: These have been tested on the following ROMs:
Skyraider 3.0 and above
Wes342's Super-Z
Nils Business_Sense_Desire-Z
I will do some more research and find out what other ROMs are compatable.
The ROMs above use a folder in the framework named "drawable-hdpi" some of the other ROMs use a folder named"drawable-hdpi-v4"
I am currently working on these for the Virtuous 3.1.0 Rom.
I can't express enough how important it is to do a nand backup first, you are modifying system files! Be forewarned, I can not be held responsible for anything that goes wrong.
I have had hit and miss luck with MetaMorph, sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't. I have had a couple of occasions where it has locked up my phone and I have had to restore from a backup.
Alternative method:
If you are familiar with modifying framework files you can also modify your framework-res.apk file and use adb to push it back to your phone.

I could possibly but I don't know how soon. I do this in my spare time (which I don't have a lot of).

These are not flashable zips...
They are MetaMorph themes, you need to use MetaMorph to install them.
These are not working in metamorph..
The wifi or battery files didnt apply on virtuous rom. Installed.with latest metamorph. Rebooted and no.changes.

Hopefully you done a backup first.
I done some research and Virtuous Rom has a different framework than Skyraider 3.5 and SuperZ ROMs.
It looks like I should have done some more research before posting these.
Restore from your backup and then try this file for the WIFI, it should work for you.

Well I got it to work using ninjamorph by manually inserting the wifi pngs into the framework.apk. What I noticed about the battery pack is that your script isn.t inserting the png's into the right folder. The icons look great though good work.

You have in your instructions that they work for Sense roms but I just installed the Red mod. battery on CM6.1 so like you said metamorph is funny like that.
I can't get the wifi one to work.. running Uber Z sense rom..
Different ROMs use different framework structure.
I just checked the UberZ ROM and here is what you need to do to make it work.
Go to the theme folder and rename the "drawable-hdpi" folder to "drawable-hdpi-v4"
Then it should work.

I haven't. Downloaded that theme but I would bet it would work.

I cannot flash this.. I think that this is not even flashable zip: it not include android sign's.. Can you cimpile this for me? I am using HTC Desire HD phone with Android Revolution 2.0.3a. I will donate you if you success port Fancy Battery Green for me!

These are not flashable, they are metamorph themes
and only intended for use on the droid incredible
(Most of this tutorial was taken from mendozinas on XDA)
Kitchen originally was built for HTC Desire, but now it supports most devices with Android OS.
Kitchen takes files from your rom and adds modifications you choose.

With UOT you can customize the notification bar, notification bar icons, boot animation, window animations, and much more!
THIS WORKS WITH ANY 2.2 and 2.3 ROM!

Make a backup before you do this. I am not responsible for what happens to your device. (Tough to mess up =) )
How to use kitchen
1. Go to Kitchen page http://uot.dakra.lt/kitchen/
2. Browse through available mods and choose what you need (press generate preview)
3. Go to File upload section and upload your files or choose rom from kitchen's list (most roms in the list is for HTC Desire) Make sure you do this or you cannot finish your process. I have only seen Trips old 1.5 MIUI ROM and Wolfs 007.1 on the list. Send a request in to UOT Kitchen to add any ROM to the kitchen list.
OR
3. I suggest navigating to your rom, clicking system, then framework, then framework-res(for froyo ROMS only)
For gingerbread ROMS just upload the SystemUI file as well along with the step above.
4. In the same tab you will see "Select flashable zip scripting" Make sure you fill the bubble for "Amend scripting."
Cyanogenmod7 rom: Cyanbread.apk or Androidian.apk or any theme for ThemeChooser (rename as you like it to appear in theme menu)
NOTE 1: if you uploading theme apk - do not upload any other files (you're just wasting trafic, because kitchen will ignore additional files)
NOTE 2: Font packs and Bootanimation do not requires uploading files.
4. Go to Summary section. All choosen mod must be in green background. If there is mod in red background - it means you did not finished it.
press Submit work to kitchen
5. Remember UOT file name. You can wait for a kitchen to cook your request, but after 5min waiting will be stopped (nothing to worry about).
6. Go to Pickup page http://uot.dakra.lt/pickup/ and wait for your file to appear (it can take up to 30min or more)
7. Download UOT zip into SD card of your phone
8. Reboot into xrecovery and flash the UOT zip.
9. Reboot and enjoy =)

Not sure what your talking about for the stock 2.2.1 froyo, but if you download it and go to the system--> framework -->then res.apk you can find it
thanx.. although I already know how to find out problem is my framework already has battery percentage so it just keeps coming up with error when going through the kitchen hence I was hoping someone had the unmodified framework-res.apk?

Highlight system files because your uploading Wolfs Rom. Make sure you extract WB-009 Rom into a folder you can navigate to. Then when you have a folder go to the system--->framework---> Then framework res.apk. Then go to upload and then your good =)
Also make sure to highlight in "Amend scripting" instead of "edify scripting"

The regular samsung widgets will not work, you can download the signed widgets using the TW4manager, the widgets of other applications will work fine.
Those, who have issue with TWL4, please manage with the TouchWix30Launcher from the attachment. I really dont know why it is working for some and some are having issues. It is still not stable for all devices, so till then no choice.

This version does not have
- There is a slight change, the volume and progress bars are now narrow instead of regular wide bars.
- TW4Launcher - As Many people had trouble running it even with those instructions, so removed. If requests are received TouchWiz30Launcher can be modded for the theme.
- The Phone does not have flip to mute as it was crashing
- Removed New market, agin because some people compained about slow loading times of new market

cp /sdcard/etc/* /system/etc/ - it will say something like "omitting permissions directory. (i forgot the exact message)" so as cp /sdcard/media/* /system/media/
but anyhow i will try to flash and root XXKPE again and check if i will still encounter these things. very good theme there trip007in

Did you push all the framework files to /system/framework. No harm in cp'ing them again and make sure you have pushed Settings.apk and SystemUI.apk into /system/app. Then check >Settings>Display> Device Lockscreen and select one. Just see if that changes the lock...
The flashing part I agree, its bit tidious, but dont have any option. It takes me NMT 5 mins to cp those files. Once somebody figure out how to make updatezip functional, it would be easy.

@trip, I am using your theme. Had to reflash my FW as I made some mistake in copying the files first time and went into bootloop. Not your fault.
The theme is awesome, but I am not getting any CRT effect, is any option to be enabled? Also what is the "scroll glow"?

I think you should not release this.
Left it just for your rom, to make people tease little and also encourage them to flash your rom.

really nice but i have a problem................the notification bar isnt there unless an app window is open/screen is locked. is it possible to have it even while on my homescreen?

can u please write some information that how phone can go back to his default or stock look??? Because now we have so much themes. But after applying themes one by one it can cause system unstable bcoz it can mix contents of different themes. So there should be a way so that user can safely go back to the stock theme with default look.
Also I want a suggestion that how should i use tw4.5 launcher & tw3.0 launcher both in one phone so that as per my convinience i can switch between both launchers????
for what its worth keep a nandroid backup before you start applying themes

Ya...i know.buddy about nandroid. I use it since skin has launched on 1st day. I want just idea so that i can revert back only that part which the theme changes in our phone??? Foe every theme taking a nandroid backup is not a good idea for me. There should be a simple way also.

dude dont worry will make a stock theme with some stock applications so that if anyone wants to roll back tostock theme he can just applied that zip

all lockscreens have graphic glitches apart from glass

dude not all only 1 is there that is vanilla lockscreen

can u please upload original kph fonts? Actualy i revert back to original stock theme with help of tripin. Everything is working perfect perfect except font. It still shows theme's font. I like more stock font.

and it is going ta take a lot of time for me to worn on it without device it was like working blindely(it doesn't mean it is not possible):good:

sorry i need the files after you flashed the ICS theme
Actually i dont use ICS theme but if u download ics theme u can move all files and drawables from ics theme to those apks relatively as morphing method is used.

it will not work for me i need system files of the firmware in which ICS theme is already flashed Over it
