Have you try Whatsapp! , it work on BB, iPhone, Nokia, and Android...
Another app call PingChat! will let you chat across Android, Blackberry and iPhone
short answer: no you cant
alternative: yes.. whatsapp n pingchat are two of them
kik is a good alternative to, although it got pulled from blackberries

I'm going to be straight.
No, there is no app which you can use on your phone to chat through BBM.
Thank you for the explanation

My friend told me about an app that is in development that allows you to download any Apple App and play them on Android... is this real? i looked everywhere and couldn't find this..
this would be great, and if its not in development is it even possible in the future?
You've been lied to, no such thing exists.
It would be nice, but unfortunately no
It would be awesome if someone does that
But there are a lot of performance issues involved in this

I think there is an app that lists the top iOs apps and gives you the equivalent app for Android

Everyone who submits an app to Blackberry's App World before Feb.13 will get a free Playbook.
Too bad there's so much limitation on the android ports
No widgets, no Ndk, ...

yeah. A full list of everything supported/unsupported here. It's a good thing that my app is very simple. The emulator is very glitchy for android apps. Hopefully my app works well on a real playbook.
Thanks a lot!

At least it's free.
I thought that I would never get a playbook because it is terrible, but after this offer, I am all for it. If you already have an app, there is no reason not to take advantage of this offer.
This sounds low but if anyone is going to submit an app and does not want their Playbook, I will pay a small fee for your troubles, my dad is a blackberry user and would definitely like this.
Hey I was just wondering, do they check the quality of the app? I can easily make a hello world one where you push a button and a clock appears, but nothing actually useful. Is there any requirements for the app, or is it just submit and get free play book?

I'm pretty sure that it isn't only for the US because RIM is based in Canada. ask the guy on twitter(@asaunders) or @BlackBerryDev
We know the thought of switching mobile
operating systems from Android has never
crossed the mind of our dear readers, but
if you are a bit curious about Windows
Phone 7 and too lazy to head to a local
smartphone retailer to check it out for
yourself you can get the experience on your
device now. Simply point your Android
browser (or iPhone browser, for that
matter) to Microsoft’s demo site and a
mock version of WP7 will load, complete
with swipe input and navigation via the
trademark tile layout. It’s far from perfect,
but it is an interesting marketing tool for
would-be smartphone buyers.

From everything I understand, you either have to port the app over to android OR install iOs on your phone. The second option would probably more achievable for you, however why would you want to do that to a perfectly good android phone?

I suppose not. IOS is for Apple Co., not for Android.
I am fairly certain you can not do this.
