[FONT] Nokia Fontpack DOWNLOAD here - T-Mobile LG G2x

http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=12509926&postcount=9
ok download the zip in the link above. extract it. use the one that says nokia S60 not the calibri one.
use program font changer from the market, install the .tff file in folder sdcard/.fontchanger.
go to font changer program and then a preview will show up, click on it, reboot. enjoy!
screen shots in the above link, it looks even better on the G2x (that link shows G2 screens)

Will this process work with ANY .tff font file??
Thanks for the links and the quick walkthrough by the way... I'm rebooting now to my new "Nokia" Font. We'll see how it looks.
Get back to me on the ANY FONT question if you could please? I'm interested to hear about it.

Yes it will. I always change fonts.

Yes it will. But some fonts look weird not very often but some do. In the preview what you see is what you get at reboot. I've only seen it once but it may have been a bad file.
This is the only font I personally use. It looks great in adw too. And its kinda like arial narrow so more fits into the screen width wise. Its also nice and sharp. I'm obsessed with it.

Not sure what format they need to be in, but here is what appears to be the .psd template for those icons:

They need to be in png format. That file is used to make custom icons with photoshop I believe. Unfortunately I don't have a computer so.. i need the png files.
You all just didn't look hard enough. There is a directory for all of his icons. Took me all of half a minute to find.

The files can be edited in photoshop, the only layers visible should be the text that you want to see as the icon.
After you get them how you'd like, save them as PNG files and copy them to your SD card and you're good to go.
can somebody just turn them into .png n post them plz

[THEME][METAMORPH][ZIP] Gingerbread Theme

Both of these come out of the Hero GSM forum, but they are proven to work for us too. These are the same theme, you just have a choice about which way you apply it: MetaMorph or flashable .zip
MetaMorph Method
Original Thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=864931
Just follow the directions in that thread, and you will be good to go. I have tested those, and they work just fine. The obvious advantage there is that you can choose what features you want. Note, this will not work for people running aospMOD because the theme needs the ability to change the font color. This is allowed in the CM roms and not in aospMOD.
Flashable .zip Method
Original thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=864451
After you apply the .zips you like from that, you might want to apply this MetaMorph: http://www.mediafire.com/file/d9j2fiddrg0gq9y/Gingerbread_CM61_Visual_Fix.zip (credit to BlaqkAudio for this). It gives you more accurate signal strength, although it isn't necessary for the theme to work.
Finally, you are going to want to apply the Status Bar tweak. To do that click menu > Settings > CyanogenMod Settings > User Interface > Tweaks Extras > Select a theme > gingerbread. Let it apply, reboot, and you are done!
Apparently, there is an issue after installing the .zip version of this theme, the Roaming Indicator On text on the lockscreen and notification pulldown. Try reading this post in the Cyanogen forums: http://forum.cyanogenmod.com/topic/2225-roaming-indicator-on-htc-cdma-hero/page__view__findpost__p__23422 It worked well for me when I had that issue.
Have fun!
Yes, this is a double post, but I have a question about metamorphs in general that directly relates to this theme. I applied the animations morph w/o knowing what the animations looked like. Now that I know what they look like, I don't like them. I made a nandroid before morphing, but its giving me a md5 mismatch. How do I revert? Is there a stock morph? Thanks for the help I did ask this in the other thread also, just for the record.
EDIT: nevermind, i just reflash CM6.1, and they are all gone. its good now
Won't work for AOSP because you can't change the font color the same way you can with CM.

Good to know. Thanks for that.
Thanks for the heads up. Only theme I have ever used, looks really good overall.
Dang, would love this on aosp!
theme updated to 1.3.1. individual zips for each part, froyo animation revert packages, fix tab bugs, fix font location.
a question someone might know the answer to: is it possible that we could apply the .zip that is the base of this metamorph theme? id much rather have the full theme, considering its much easier to apply. but i dont know, its in the gsm hero forum, would that mess up stuff for us? i dont wanna try it, if you didnt get the hint. even with a nandroid.
We may need someone to create a signal fix for this, since CDMA signal strength is different from GSM signal strength.
EDIT: Also, does anyone have screenshots to show what notifications look like? For instance, when I applied the CM Black stock theme, the standard signal, battery, etc icons didn't look that great. I was wondering what stock SMS, email, etc notifications would look like.
I flashed the update zip mentioned in the post with no gsm-cdma horror story. I did have to manually change the clock color, and I don't think the zip changes widgets, but I still have the bar, pop ups, and a working phone.
**Edit, got the notification bar text and clock fixed, by selecting the correct xml in ui tweaks
I just applied this and it's super slick. Here's a "signal fix" I quickly whipped up: http://www.mediafire.com/file/d9j2fiddrg0gq9y/Gingerbread_CM61_Visual_Fix.zip

"KrispysGingerbread_1.3_Animation.zip" contains the gingerbread-style animations metamorph and you should put that in the "AndroidThemes" directory on your sdcard as well. This package also contains a metamorph with the original Froyo-style animations in case you want to go back.

thanks for providing that, it looks AMAZING.
I used to use it the other month, but stopped because it seemed like a update to Titanium broke it a bit (in the program, some letters would appear as boxes), so I changed back to default, and forgot all about it until flashing this theme, and deciding to give it another shot. So far, definitely hasn't broken anything for me. It's almost like the font that comes with this theme, but bolder I suppose? Definitely more spacing in between the letters and isn't as hard to read, that's for sure.

Overcome [RC1] [Hermes] Theme

I collect the best images from all frameworks I've ever used.
Most of the icons and images are from Xperia Arc theme.
I've also changed the color of the Settings from white to black.
(On Hermes the color of Settings is black, so only replace
"framework-res.apk" and "SystemUI.apk". Also some of
the stuff are used on Hermes.)
Here is what you need to do:
1. Backup your original "framework-res.apk", "SystemUI.apk",
"Settings.apk", "AccountAndSyncSettings.apk" and "Phone.apk"
by Root Explorer or whatever you use in case you want to go back
to the original ones
2. Download the files I've attached and extract them.
3. Copy the extracted files to your SD card.
4. Move theme from SD card to the system.
5. Set their permission like the last attached picture.
6. Move "AccountAndSyncSettings.apk", "Phone.apk", "Settings.apk"
and "SystemUI.apk" to system/app.
7. Move "framework-res.apk" to system/framework.
8. Reboot Your Tab.
*On RC1 if you just want to turn the color of Settings to black, do these
steps only for "AccountAndSyncSettings.apk", "Phone.apk" and "Settings.apk".*
That's it, I hope you like it, if you do just hit the thanks button.
seems to be an interesting theme but not very impressive. as you know after one being on MIUI, rest everything looks so so.. what i say is, instead of backing up all those files if things go wrong, why don't we do a cwm backup and restore if things r not working?
did you manage to get timescape working?
thanks for the hard work and keep going. appreciated

on black pages but you are not able to see the color on white pages, so if you
to have different color just tell me to make another one and if you want to change
it yourselves there are two picture in framework-res.apk/res/drawable-hdpi with
the names "overscroll_edge.png" and "overscroll_glow.png".

When you replace "Settings.apk" your "Call Settings" and "Account and Sync" are
still white. So if you want to make them black you need to replace "phone.apk"
and "AccountAndSyncSettings.apk" as well.

ICS Roboto font

You can find the new Roboto font here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1309619
I recommend that if you're not going to install the font yourself using a file manager, don't use the flashable version -viperboy- has provided. Instead use the one mackster248 has posted in the 5th post under this one.
There you will also find the /system and /system/apps folders, but for now they're not very usable. They currently can't be deodexed with current tools.
On a side note, for those using a file manager to change fonts, here are some general instructions:
1. Ensuring you have R/W permissions to edit system files, copy the Roboto family of fonts into the /system/fonts folder.
2. Keep backups of your current fonts you plan on replacing (DroidSans family) by renaming their file types to .orig (For example, DroidSans.ttf becomes DroidSains.orig).
3. Change the fonts you plan on using into the names of the fonts you just changed to the .orig file type (Roboto-Regular.ttf becomes DroidSans.ttf).
4. Make sure to change the permissions of each font to rw-r--r-- once you've renamed them. if you don't know what I mean by that, make the permissions identical to the other fonts found in the folder.
5. Restart.
Be careful when doing this, if you do it incorrectly, you'll be stuck in a bootloop and will have enter the recovery to re-install the ROM to replace the system files again.
Thanks! I installed the replacement fonts after taking a suitable backup, just in case. It replaces three fonts in /system/fonts: Clocktopia.ttf, DroidSans.ttf and DroidSans-Bold.ttf. I think the difference is subtle on a per-character basis but taken together, I find it more easily readable. I did a side-by-side comparison and found that the characters in some cases are a little bit larger.

The differences are many, but all mostly subtle. I worked for a newspaper and page design/typography grew on me a lot so I notice the little things.
If you're not that much into typography, I can't blame you, it wouldn't appear much has changed.

You make a good point, but like myself, there are those who know they don't need to install another app when their familiar with use file managers to change system files.
For someone who is familiar and confident with how to do it themselves, the steps should take no more than 2 minutes, that doesn't like much work to me.

Agreed. That's how I learned all of this back in the G1 days. Which was either commands via Terminal or switching out files via Root Explorer, so I never even knew there were apps that do all of those things for you these days.

I had the exact same problem as you did trying to get that wallpaper back...
I really do like it a lot & I think it's the best of the entire bunch that is included in that ROM.
The long answer to your question is in this thread, second post: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1480248, which states,
How i can get the blue eye (or any other) wallpaper again?
Which ROM was it in? Do you still have the .zip?
- Pull the system/app/Launcher.apk
- Unzip it. Yes, apk is a zip file.
- Look in res/drawable-hdpi folder.
Although I did manage to open the apk file mentioned above, I did not see that particular image at all. I even tried a bunch of other files, and of course, it wasn't there, either.
Needless to say, I managed to find the wallpaper I was looking for on another of lumin30's posts and I saved it to my harddrive.
*************************************************************************************************************************
I stand corrected. If you follow lumin30's instructions, (written directly below this post), then you will indeed find that exact file. It is called, "default_wallpaper.jpg". From what I can tell, it's the only wallpaper that is in that file.
*************************************************************************************************************************
I know that some images need to be resized depending on the launcher that you're using. I kept having problems with my wallpapers fitting correctly when I was using Go Launcher EX.
I read around on the Internet & found a post suggesting an app called Wallpaper Wizard ii. It's available on Google Play Store for free. The good thing about that app is that you can use it on whatever image you want.
Before you give up, perhaps you should give that a try.
The default wallpaper is found in the \system\framework\framework-res.apk.
Then in framework-res.apk --> \res\drawable
I tried the picture you posted but when I try to use it as my background, it's a blurry and not the whole picture

Got any more backgrounds? I'm looking for brighter ones since all icons in VB are kind of dark. Thanks!
does anyone know how to put the whole background in?? because it forces me to crop it and i dont want that
Whenever I used Wallpaper Wizard ii, I just set it to "scale" & it looked good to me.
I can't tell you for sure what all that did, but I was satisfied with the results.
Good luck & don't forget to let us know if you find something that works better for you.
Put the wallpaper in framework-res.apk in the res/drawable-hdpi folder then reflash the rom
i found it, do i just post it anywhere in the folder??

Couldnt he just push the .apk to /system/framework and boot to recovery and fix permissions? That would avoid having to reflash and download apps right?
