Battery Charger Set - HTC Sensation

Lots of posts with good spare batteries.
Here's one more to consider that I picked up on ebay for $12!!! It shipped free from China & I had it in 8 days. It's gone up now to $19 but to have an extra is always great for plane travel, etc... The set comes with 3 1600mAh batteries & a wall/usb charger. Charger is pretty nice, has a large LED indicator on the bottom that changes color when charged.

I got the same ones for my HD2. I ended up buying the pack with a charger and 2 batteries twice, I did end up loosing my offical battery one day so I am now running off 4 of these batteries. I haven't had my phone plugged in for ages.
The batteries seem to work just as well as the OEM one. As soon as I get my sensation in the post these will be the first accessory I'll be buying.

Extra batteries and charger.

Just ordered this on eBay. You get 2 batteries and a compact charger. I've been using one of these (2 batteries + charger) with my Samsung Portal for the last 12 months. You get the benefits of.........
1 a spare (or 2) battery to carry in your pocket to use as and when needed.
2 You can charge the spare batteries while using your phone.
3 You are not shoving the micro USB plug in and out of your phone. This stops it getting knackered prematurely.
The batteries I got for the Samsung seem to be as good as the original, hopefully these will be just as good.

I had extra batteries for my Galaxy S too, they were part of a cheap accessories package but cheap as they were, they did their job as promised.
Those batteries for the O3D will come in handy for sure, thanks a lot for the link!

When you buy any Galaxy (or any phone) in Korea, they all come with 2 batteries and a external charger. And all the Galaxys come with external charging case and adapter like this one. It is unfortunate that you have to buy this separately, but I highly recommend getting this after using this method of charging for a year when I lived in Korea.
Let the second battery charge, swap it in the morning (they give you a few seconds to do a battery swap without having to reboot the phone if you have the usb cable connected). It is not a well known feature of the phone because Mr. Jobs has got us so accustomed to chaining ourselves unnecessarily while we wait for our phones to charge but it is a very cool and useful feature. It will make your life better in so many ways, and possibly extend the battery life and the life of the battery because you will always be doing a deep cycle charge. Plus. you will have a spare battery and a case to carry it in for long trips!
As you can tell, I love this thing.

Yes. Battery says Near Field Communication.

My skyrocket battery model number is the same. My girlfriend is visiting me from Korea, and she's buying me a Galaxy SII LTE battery EB-L1D7IBK because it is cheaper there. I'm hoping it works. The polarity, voltage, size, capacity seems to be the same.

Looks like Samsung themselves say the battery works in both models:

Even sweeter. Kinda feel foolish now for making my gf go to the Samsung Anycall A/S Store in Korea, pick up the battery and charging case for $27. then buying myself a oem adapter+microusb for $4.35 on ebay. Although I am still getting it for ~$31 and a adapter+microusb is a tiny bit better than a travel charger, It is still to be determined whether the Korean battery going to work because there is a soft restriction.
Anyway, this is a solid purchase and it is worth the extra $3 than buying just a oem battery alone.

Unless Samsung releases one, which they haven't, I wouldn't bother with it. Usually generic batteries might hold the extra juice initially, but the life of the battery tends to be unreliable.
Lucky Me...
I just snagged one of these off that Amazon link (through DayDeal) for $34.99 plus shipping. Amazon.com showed only one in stock through daydeal when I ordered. Thanks for the heads-up!

I was going to ask if it also charged your phone but your review answered that for me. What a shame that they didn't include that one extra little piece of hardware. Not having it is kind of a deal breaker for me.
i got mine and love it. I like the fact that i dont have to plug the cable into my phone to charge. I go through a battery in a few hours so all of that plugging/unplugging makes me nervous (like the mini usb days when the mini usb ports breaking was more common then not)
this way i can charge my batteries without plugging into my phone, and the only time i will need to plug into my phone is in my car..
ordering another one for home now(this one is at my office)
2 spare batteries will come in handy also since i goto a lot of day/weekend long music festivals where i wont get access to chargers.

Is it safe to leave a spare battery on the charger for days after its fully charged? will it ruin the battery ? or when the light turns green does it turn off?
Wondering if i should worry about leaving my spare in the charger over long (3 or 4 day) weekends etc or if i should take it out.

Universal battery chargers - battery outside the phone while charging

Hi
I've ordered a new mugen 1950mAh battery and now I'm going to buy a new battery charger (not for the phone, only for battery). Here are some links such types of chargers:
Omg, I don't have 10 posts so I'm not able to post outside links. So please just write in 'images.google': "universal battery charger" and see the results. I take interest to the one which is a little bit similar to a computer mouse
Do you think it will work properly? Does anyone have got such a charger? Or maybe can you suggest sth other? I just want to use the phone with one battery, while the second one would be charged. Binding the phone to socket with cables during a day is very annoying.
No one? Can't believe..
not sure what you're referring to but http://www.amazon.com/Laza-Battery-Charger-Sensation-Shooter/dp/B0057HJU1Q is a good deal for 2 1700mah batteries and a standalone battery-specific charger. no pins to align every time. just slam the battery in and it goes.
or there's dozens of universal ones with sliding pins like http://www.amazon.com/Anker-Multi-Purpose-Universal-Battery-Charger/dp/B0058XGN7I
I'm sure you could find one of these for less than $5 shipped on ebay if not amazon.
But I've already ordered new mugen 1950mAh so I don't need to buy anything new. Mugen and stock batteries are enough
Unfortunately I can't find such a battery charger on ebay. But it's a cool thing because I would better buy something branded than some noname rubbish. Any ideas?
i'm using this: http://ioomobile.com/shopbybrand/990-momax-smart-battery-charger-for-htc-sensation-z710e.html
can use usb. but it only supply 500mA so it took longer to charge.
I've been using these for ages
These chargers are the best way to charge your battery, for me at least. I've been using them for years. Of course you need at least two batteries, but I usually have at least 3
These chargers are chinese creations. Some can be really slow, others a bit faster, but usually they give out around 200-400mAh which is kinda slow, but will charge your battery overnight.
The good thing about these chargers is when your phone dies or is about to die you just pop in the already charged battery and you are ready to go, no charger, no cables. And from my experience the battery lasts longer than if charged in the phone, sounds strange but it's true.
A downside is while charging they have this LED flashing, which indicate charging, and when they stop, battery charged. But these can be really bright and if you charge overnight in your room, you have this flashing colour changing lights.
I totally recommend these chargers. On chinese sites they go around 3-4$. Don't go for the cheapest, probably will be crappy.
Thanks for info guys. A week ago I bought YIBOYUAN 100-240V EU Universal Battery Charger USB Output F HTC Sensation/G14. Will see how it works

820 spare battery and standalone battery charger options

I'm looking for cheap 820 spare batteries and a standalone battery charger. Understandably, this is a new phone and folks can't expect a lot of accessories to be on the market yet, but I figured we could have a thread to track the options.
For the Samsung Focus we were satisfied with generic batteries and chargers like this one:
http://www.amazon.com/Batteries-GT-...sr=8-1&keywords=samsung+focus+battery+charger
These batteries are still working OK after a year of use although they only last about 80% as long as the name brand batteries and according to our kitchen scale weigh a few grams less. The charger just cut out and fails to charge after a solid year of daily use. I opened it up planning to diagnose with the multimeter, but never got around to fixing it. Really though for $13 it wasn't bad for 2 working spare batteries. So I'm looking for something similar for the 820.
+1 for this, I am also looking for something same. Got it for my old HD2 and I bought the Lumnia 820, because of you can change the battery and extend your memory with the microSDHC Card.
We will see what time will bring us on extensions for the device. I think its to new at the moment.
Same again...looking for a spare battery for the Lumia 820
Infinidim
I will also be looking for to purchase one regardless of how difficult to remove the caseback.
Universal cell/camera Li-ion battery charger
Has anyone used one of these universal chargers that allows you to move the charging pins to fit any battery?
http://search.accessorygeeks.com/search?query=universal+battery+charger
Might be a good option.
AT&T still has the best shipped price for replacement batteries in the USA:
http://www.att.com/shop/wireless/accessories/batteries/sku6320370.html
Even if the site still shows a Samsung Focus-S battery
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=9SIA07Y0K09316
Best price I can find from a brand I suppose I can trust. After all, it is sold on Newegg. $9.99 with free shipping
I want it because I it says it is a Li-Ion as opposed to the stock Li-Po battery. For some reason I just don't trust Li-Po batteries.
I've used an external charger with adjusting pins for about a year. Radio shack sells them. It's not the best quality but as long as you don't drop it, its all good. No complaints other then the price. But locally their not easy to find.

can i buy one with larger capacity?
The EZO power one I posted earlier is 100 mAh more at 1750mAh. I haven't used it very long, so I don't know if it lasts any longer..

Also, there is a Mugen Power one for $45. It is 150mAh more at 1800mAh total.

We got the EZO battery and the cheap universal clamp charger from amazon as well. It works, but it doesn't last nearly as long as the OEM battery and the charger takes quite a long time to fully charge the battery. For $6 it ain't bad though.

I tried the ezo battery, and it actually lasted longer than the original battery, when it worked. I may have gotten a bad one though because it just started dumping its full charge all at once, and my phone would just die after about 3 or so hours.

Bulging Battery (new)

Hey,
I bought these batteries for my Galaxy S3:
http://www.ebay.ca/itm/221508526410?ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1497.l2649
I charged one of the two batteries with the provided wall charger. The first battery is bulging and displayed only 90% charge.
I charged the second one with a wall charge I bought from ebay that I used to charge random ebay 10$ batteries (they served me well). The second battery is performing very well, 2h of use with only 10% discharge and didn't bulge.
I filled a paypal claim but I wonder if I should keep using the battery. I suspect the provided charger is not good but I wonder if it could cause the issue. I am really tempted to try with another battery but I will first wait to see what happen with my claim. I thought Anker would be more reliable than those chinese batteries (that are certainly not 2100mah like claimed).
Anyway, have you experienced some thing similar? I am planning to keep my S3 for a good year before I grab the S6 so I was looking to get extra battery life-time. At the moment I had to change a battery every day and it is getting annoying.
Batteries/Chargers that are non-OEM
Hey Buddy,
I had the same issue with my Nokia N series phone battery a long time ago. I had bought a non-OEM battery from ebay compatible with the phone handset and landed in trouble after using a third-party charger. I had to finally search online for a OEM (Nokia branded) battery and used to charge it only when inside my phone using the phone OEM (Nokia branded) charger. I used that without any issues for quite some time (around 6 months).
I'm no expert but I figure the mAh rating is very important while choosing the battery, we know the higher is better in terms of holding charge but it is not in case of an internal battery because the OEM batteries are made to charge using the phone's internal circuits (that explains why some batteries bulge and even explode when using a non-OEM battery/charger combination).
To cut the long story short I suggest you to look for a refund from your seller, the next step would be to search for a battery which is OEM (which is what I did) see the pic that's an OEM battery i presume.
There are various issues with third-party batteries all over the internet (google it) but the important one is that they tend to get heated up while charging and when used inside the phone. As a fellow Androider I would suggest you to stick onto OEM batteries and chargers (best you buy one in ebay which has a SAMSUNG OEM logo with a S/N)
Hope this helps you out bro, as I said I'm no expert but just sharing my own experience and information I gathered.
Peace,
Syed
