Hey all,
I rooted my phone a couple months ago. Had coredroid on it. Worked fine. Wanted better. Downloaded Honeybee, the latest one. Tried to flash using ROM manager, rebooted, worked for a little bit, then was on the HTC white screen for 45 minutes. Figured it had went nuts. Eventually ran out of battery after 1'30". recovered, or at least tried my best, using the img1978.zip. Could not operate recovery without the sd card in, but also could not select recovery with sd card in. With the sd card out, I would get the little sign of a cell with an exclamation triangle.
I currecntly have a stock ROM with no sound. Is there any fix? typed in root no superuser, etc. Stuff like that. No avail. Any points in the right direction?
Thanks yall
Anything folks?

Hey there. I'm new to this forum, and I need help! I updated my Samsung Epic to 2.2 today without a hitch. Following online instructions, I downloaded the 2.2 software, copied it onto the SD card in the phone, entered recovery mode and loaded the update.zip file. The phone rebooted and everything's fine. Then, I took my girlfriend's Epic and did the same thing. But, when the installation appeared to be done, and the phone restarted, it didn't restart. Instead, I goes back to the recovery mode and I can't get it to do anything else. I've removed the battery, turned it back on, but it just goes to that screen. I don't know much about this, but it seems like it can't find the system software. Any ideas? Thanks in advance for your help!

Hi,
I had a rooted s-off Sensation that was previously running CM7 alpha build and a couple of days ago was upgraded to Virtuous Quattro alpha 3.
I had all the correct firmware installed from RUU 3.24.401.1, and Quattro was running without any major problems.
I was playing with settings for SMS go pro, and the phone froze. I gave it a couple minutes to defrost, but nothing took. So I removed the battery and restarted the phone.
It vibrated and I awaited the HTC white splash screen but nothing, it kept the lights off but it would vibrate every 20 -30 seconds like it was booting up.
I let it run for 30 min thinking it would fix something. I took the battery out, took the sim card and sd card out. I charged it from the wall, from a computer, booted with a computer that has Android SDK on it.... nothing.
T-mobile is sending me a new one. But I just want to figure out what happened.
Any insight?
turn it on and let it just sit for 20 minutes. ive seen an inspire 4g do this
EDIT: didnt read OP's full thread. My bad
Don't know when you updated your firmware since the new way doesn't require SuperCID that should not be the problem.. But was wondering have you tried to return to recovery and flash CM7 again?
I don't have access to recovery. The phone loops in the boot cycle before hboot is initialized
Hey everyone... yes I'm the noob here.
Was rooting my Thunderbolt using the 'All in one tool' which went great and worked fine.
Went to install the Liquid ICS ROM, seemed to install correctly - said it was successful on the phone. Then I rebooted the Tbolt and now I am stuck with the bubble that says 'Liquid ROM ICS' and it just sits there... No response from touching the screen, even the power button doesn't work. When I remove the battery and replace, I turn the phone back on and the bubble is back...
Any suggestions greatly appreciated!
Thanks!
Eric
Also having this problem, tried rebooting, and even re-installing the ROM. No Success. Please let me know if you find a solution!!
