Steps to flash the rom is straight forward
Load appropriate apollo_0531.ops file in odin and flash the .tar as "one package"
This will get the rom working
There are 2 things that fugumod does
1 /etc/init.d scripts start
2 Filesystems are recognized
Best way to I do is
When i am on Stock kernel I delete all files from /sdcard/Android/data/fugumod/
and keep fs.convert with lines
---------------------
mmcblk0p2 ext4
stl6 ext2
stl7 ext4
stl8 ext2
---------------------
boot in recovery and do factory reset and delete cache
Flash fugumod
and wait for ages so the fs gets converted
If you dont want to wait..
dont keep any files in fugumod directory when on stock kernel and rest remains same
i.e factory reset and flash fugumod

for a quick workaround if you get stuck after fugumod flash
remove sdcard
Do data/cache wipe and factory reset from recovery
and boot.. you'll get in os faster..
once the phone is on insert sdcard and wait for it to get mounted
delete all files from fugumod directory and reboot
Initially fugumod is super slow because it has to convert fs load scripts and cpu is not scaled properly.
once the fs is fine, converted and recorded in fs.current the init scripts (apps2sd) are also cool with everything
then when you see the interface its very slow because of inappropriate cpu speeds (use set cpu to set settings of your choice)
There is a also a zipalign script which will run for first time and take time to make itself comfortable

Nice...

Good work! Nice to see new Devs popping up!

Yes i did that...copied the global apn.conf file >> then restarted >> then set the default APN settings..but got no results !!
I guess it's because of my service provider..

JPB Kernel - With always root ADB and some perf tweaks.

Hello ! This is a kernel from JPB with little tweaks:
-ADB always enabled on boot, with root access
-Some performances tweaks from here
http://www.megaupload.com/?d=6P4CMF7I
Try it and give feedbacks .
Hey mate, you're so fast with developing cool new stuff for our G3 that i nearly can't make a decission what to flash... ^^
Thx a lot for this tweaked kernel... will it push pefermormance heavily?
About the decission problem: What do you think about that kombination: your ultra clean JPF with this kernel?

Well, i think Clean JPA/JPF + Lagfix V2 (since we have no ext4 support yet .. I'm gonna play a bit with 2.1 roms for that and try if it's better ) + this would work great .
testing ultra clean jpf + jpb modified kernel + lagfix v2 right now
sorry for the noobish question but how do i put this on my phone?
flash it with odin? if so as what? if so do i need to do a factory reset? will it reset it?
or do i just copy it to somewhere in root?
I have a rooted jpf with lagfix 2.
all you need is:
1. cache.rfs - from ultra clean JPF
2. factoryfs.rfs - from ultra clean JPF
3. modem.bin - from ultra clean JPF
4. zImage - modified JPB kernel from this threat
5. logo.png - i don't really know if this one is essential
then make a .tar archive with total commander or whatever and flash it odin. factory reset will be needed!
p.s. maybe you can make an archive ONLY with zImage. maybe then you won't have to wipe settings.
it seems that zimage is part of the phone part of a firmware, the regular jpf contains cache.rfs datafs.rfs factoryfs.rfs and zimage. So i should just make one with zimage and flash it to phone? is that possible? or should i add the others (I have limited bandwidth so i probably wont download clean jpf and just clean it for myself after flashing, which i did after installing jpf). or, do i just have to get rid of data.rfs to be able to flash it without reseting everything?

1. write-after-every-read disabled
2. tweak for flash disk (not spinning disk)
3. tweak to reduce lags when a huge write is required
4. task scheduler values optimized for android (not linux)
5. increased write flush timeouts to save battery life
6. ADB always enabled on boot, with root access
using ultra clean JPF + Gsam101 modified JPB Kernel + lagfix v2
(thank you Gsam101!)
1. is it possible that after applying lagfix v2 the phone became slower?
2. found a little bug. when i try to delete a contact, the contact app crashes
3. wifi sometimes doesn't work even if it is showing signal (i fix it by turning wifi off and on)
4. proximity sensor not working again when i wan't to end a call i have to wait until someone else hangs up because no buttons work and i see only a black screen
responsiveness and speed is supercool! except for these few bugs mentioned above.
thanks again Gsam101!

Really? Should be fixed within the JPB kernel. But i haven't tested it myself yet. If you're right it would be horrible. That's the most annoying bug i've seen on the G3 (although home-button should work to turn the screen on)!
Hi Gsam, can you provide another link for this JPB kernel ? Megaupload really annoying as they always said that another user is downloading file.
nice... can you disclose how you managed to repack the thing and still have it boot? (I think I saw a few threads around, it would be good to know which kernel source tree + toolkit + cflags work for this phone)
I'm using a (modified) z4mod, and I've been trying for a few days to make the thing boot (the lack of console messages doesn't help :-/)

A/ sooo are you releasing ROM without testing ?
B/you can set up in settings that the power button will switch off the call - I use it, it's ok, you don't have to wait for a screen
C/ what about click sound during a call which was a JPB issue ?
to make your self a clean JPF + JPB modified kernel firmware

if your phone gets stuck @ samsung logo after flasing then go to recovery menu and do a factory reset. i even recommend doing a factory reset before flashing.
p.s. don't forget to backup your contacts and stuff!
how to flash files one by one?
(not making .tar! i don't really trust the softwares much )

Unfortunately, no.
Installation
1. Flash a recovery image
2. Copy the .zip file to your MicroSD card and boot the phone into recovery mode (call+volume-up+power)
3. Choose "Flash zip from sdcard" and choose the zip you just copied.
4. Wipe data+cache before rebooting. You should wipe unless you are already on a Froyo ROM.
Swap:
To enable swap on partition 3 or partition 2 (it will check partition 3 first and if it doesn't exist it will try partition 2)
$ su
# sdswap.sh enable
$ su
# sdswap.sh disable
Compcache:
If you are using are already using a swap partition on your SD-card, then you most likely shouldn't enable compcache. But if you do not want to partition your SD-card then compcache can be a good alternative.
Read more about how Compcache works here: http://wiki.cyanogenmod.com/index.php?title=Compcache
Enable compcache
In a terminal or using an adb shell type this:
$ su
# compcache.sh enable
Type free to confirm you now have 32Mb swap
Disable compcache
In a terminal or using an adb shell type this:
$ su
# compcache.sh disable
Type free to confirm you now have 0Mb swap
Advanced users
Compcache size, settings and swappiness is setup in /system/bin/compcache.sh
If you are an advanced user, you'll know how to proceed from here...
Some questions before putting this on, since I'm always a noob with installing new ROMs...
1) Is this in a stable and smooth stage yet (with everything working properly) or is this still in developmental stages? What is the difference between this and cas_xp's?
2) I'm currently running The Celestial Teapot at 652mhz, will this be noticeably slower considering it doesn't have overclock (does it?). What's the deal in regards to overclocking?
3) I can install this fine (flashing it) over Kalt Kaffe's TCT ROM (replacing it with this one) or do I have to somehow get TCT off first?
Forgive me if my questions are nooby, I always prefer to overask (woohoo new word) in regards to ROMs
Whatever the case, thanks for working on this! Awesome (really) if it works perfectly, but even if not, I like seeing any development with U8100.
Unfortunately, it won't boot on huawei u8110.
I've tried to delete data/fatory reset, but it didn't help.

1)This is @cas_xp's but modded.
2)I haven't tested yet. But the previous version wasn't as laggy. I'm going to try to bring OC in. To reduce lag.
3) You should probably wipe before coming to this ROM . I should probably put a short flashing guide in.

It will take a long time to boot for the first time. It is deodexed.
I left it for 5 minutes to boot. Do I have to wait longer?
OK. I'll try one more time.
edit:
No, rom doesn't boot neither after 10 minutes. It is stuck on my Movistar initial splash screen.

[CF-ROOT] CF-ROOT for Gingerbread XXKPM-XXKPH-JPKP5 UPDATE 20.10.2011

First of all... Thanks Chainfire!!!! This is totally based on your work.... i made only some MOD....
Ok, the work is quite finished... the CF-ROOT for I9003 is ready!
I called this "beta version" (since i need your tests/opinions) but all might work.
IMPORTANT: This is only for KPH Firmware!!!
You can flash this over any other CWM or over the stock FW.
Many people will ask "Why i have to install this?"... because with this your phone will have:
- Root ( don't need to use SOC or any ZIP);
- Busybox 1.17.2;
- Sqlite3 v3.7.2;
- init.d support (you can put in the folder /system/etc/init.d all the script that you want to be loaded at the startup);
- New fixed CWM ( unyaffs issue has been fixed - offline charge fixed - USB storage mode while in CWM fixed);
- Add EXT4 support to the phone ( so you can convert the filesystem to ext4 to improve performance);
- full working CWM Manager (backup - restore - delete backup - install apk - flash update.zip - flash kernel - reboot to CWM);
- Tweaks Manager with various tweak ( Ram Min Free - SD Speed - I/O Scheduler - Kernel Scheduler - CPU Conservative Governor - Swappiness - Ram Script by Juwe11 - Media Stagefright)---> Many people asked for Juwe Ram Script ---> to enable it completely choose in the Tweaks Manager: Ram Script - Ram Min Free and Swappiness;
- Auto ZIP-Align on boot - You can choose it in the tweaks app(NEW)
- Reviewed tweaks values (some from darky's rom some from hardcore some from other post in XDA)( thanks to bigeyes0x0 and Misledz )(NEW)
- Custom Boot-Animation support (place your custom bootanimation in /system/media/ and call it sanim.zip)(NEW)
To do:
- other tweaks suggested by you...
- whatever can be added.
Let me know what you think
HERE you can find the original post.
HOW TO INSTALL:
1- Flash with Odin the .tar file
or...if you went from a previous version of CF-ROOT
2- Download the .zip file into the external SD the open CWM Manager --> flash Kernel --> select the file you have just downoaded
IMPORTANT:
If you cannot find the two apps on your app drawer maybe you haven't space left on /system so delete some unused apps like aldiko, delere /system/cfroot folder and reboot
IMPORTANT/2: after the flash the phone might take some time to boot. You might think that it freeze on Samsung Logo but it's normal cause the auto-zipalign proc need some time. Just Wait.
UPDATE: Added CF-ROOT with my custom kernel. This have Ext4 inside the kernel (no modules) and OC to 1.1 Ghz. I think that it is secure. I haven't test it very well so please report me the issues you will find.
!
Version 05.09.2011 Changelog:
- added Graphics Boost Tweak (thanks Gana)
- added acid tweaks (thanks to the people that worked on it .. specially Bigeyes0x0);
- reviewed 00tweaks file by Bigeyes0x0;
To disable journaling on ext4 partition apply the attached journaloff.zip in CWM (Not CWM Manager app - it must be fixed).
There're two version of the CF-ROOT, the version with **CWM_Manager** can be flashed with CWM Manager App (select flash kernel) the other with odin (like always)
UPDATE 20.10.2011:
CF-ROOT for XXKPM can be found HERE:
- Standard Version --> http://www.multiupload.com/S463K75UED
- Surprise version ( i suggest you this) --> http://www.multiupload.com/G20L6PL5WC
What's new ?
- I finally finished the custom bootanimation support.... now works like he have to works. Just copy your bootanimation into /system/media and rename it to sanim.zip.... i think that here you can find what you need http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=17322814#post17322814
IMPORTANT!!!
If you have installed the beta version you must know that the ext4 conversion for that doesn't work properly. Ok, system, cache and dbdata will be on ext4 but data not. This because the init binary check on boot if /data have rfs FS and, if not, it format the partition wiping all your data.
In the new version i modified the init binary so it cannot do it more
I must say that i became mad to discover this damn thing !
A few questions: Are you using the latest fixed version of CWM? Also you mentioned that you would be releasing another update soon regarding the Nandroid backup image corruption issue. Is it in this release?
Also: Is this an alternative to ROM manager, apart from the inclusion of the tweaker tool?
Regarding the enhancements, could you please elaborate on some of them and what is safe/not safe to use (particularly in the tweaks and what they do)?
What I understood, after looking over all the posts, was that you optimized the CF-Root by chainfire for the i9003, by using a compatible Root, CWM, and adding an ext4 kernel? Are you going to port the ext4 converter tool as well? Will we be able to use an external SD card with ext4 formatting (Could be used to store files larger than 4GB)?
Sorry about the ton of questions. Trying to learn, and what better way to learn than from the best!
I'm going to take it out for a test drive now on XXKPE with ext4! Will report back later!
Thanks for your valuable work, I'm a huge fan!!!
Cheers
Update: Confirming that the passive charging bug has been fixed! Thanks Skin1980!
I cannot find the CWM or Tweaks icons in the app drawer as indicated in your screenshots. I can access CWM recovery mode using the 3 button combo though.
I had installed the last version of CWM by Amit and formatted with ext4 and I just used ODIN to flash over that install. I tried flashing again, still not appearing in app drawer. Any solutions?
Great job skin.. Hoping for the early release of a stable one.. Will test it later
Sent from my GT-I9003 using XDA Premium App
it's great...>.<
Auguri! Ok wow, This is pure genius . I've always been wondering what our CWM were based off. I guess using this would fix most issues people get when flashing CWM, since it's based off the original firmware
Also I'm loving the tweaks, they seem to make the phone more smooth, Although I've seen a few bugs after applying this I can't seem to use the V6 charger script anymore I get an error, will be posting one shortly. There are some minor hiccups in between and I tend to get FC on some apps when I multitask.
Edit: Turns out It's busybox related, no shell access. I've tried launching Busybox by Stericsons to check and It says no root access was given and boots me out.
i happy that u r belong to this community
Is there any recovery module or tweak available, in which we can handle basic file operation like copy, move from sd card to system or any thing similar?

1- The CWM used is always the last... if i'll update the CWM i'll update the CF-ROOT;
2- The CWM fixed reguard nandroid backup is under test;
3- My CWM isn't ROM Manager compatible... with the CWM Manager from Chainfire you can do a lot of things without going into CWM
4 - to convert in EXT4 just follow the guide on the other thread;
5- Not sure if you can format in XT4 your external_sd... try ;
6- The tweak are all sure... now i haven't time to exlplain better... some don't work.... some other work.
7- If the icon don't appear in app drawer try to check into system/app if the two files are there... if not try to remove /system/cfroot folder and reboot. Maybe your system folder is full so you can install they manually, the original apk are inside /res/misc/ folder.

Update!
The problem I had turned out to be due to the lack of space in the "/system" folder - as you had predicted Skin1980! Once I deleted some unnecessary software, I was up and running fully within minutes!
The phone works great! The fixes are really good! Having no issues except for one so far. I can't seem to mound "sdcard" in CWM recovery mode and cannot do a restore, for the same reason, from the CF-ROOT menu.
I have a feeling it's something I did wrong earlier, so I'll reflash completely and try again ('cause I have a lotta time on my hands atm and I want the bestest possible phone I can get).
Note: This doesn't seem to be compatible with DDKB2. Assuming that this is mainly for GB firmwares? Can someone corroborate this?
As usual, thanks!

I did notice that initially it was fast. But as I kept it going through the day to recalibrate the battery, it did slow down and start to lag. I thought it was something to do with that. Also I felt that I had done something wrong with the flashing.
Going to overhaul my phone completely: Format, re-partition, XXKPE install (flashing twice), flash fixed CWM from the other thread, root using SOP 2.1.1, install busybox requirements for deodexing (this failed for me the last few times), restore settings using Titanium Backup, Nandroid backup, ext4 this baby, restore, and then install CF-ROOT to monitor.
Wish me luck! See you guys on the other side... again!

You've got the wrong thread mate!
Your bandwidth is capped by you operator and is dependent on how much they allocate you. On top of that 2G is physically limited to certain speeds which, usually, cannot be surpassed by legal means, and the illegal ones give you too less of a boost vs complications and errors to even bother about (I mean big ass hardware)!

Rooted stock 2.3 rom [06/05 different data2ext script at the end]

Searching the site I found a few rooted stock roms for desire, but they didn't match my criteria. It's not that I'm some developer with high demands (I'm just, lets say, advanced noob ), but they missed some features that I would like them to have. So i decided to make some of them in the way how I would like. So, you will find 2 almost the same roms in the thread and the only difference is the kernel that I used cooking them (choose what you like, they are both stable).
So here is what you get:
stock 2.3 rom made from official desire RUU
rooted
busybox
a2sd (darktremor method, about 125mb (65mb for deodexed) of free space after installation and about 135 after 'move dalvik to sd' in a2sdgui)
zipalligned
odexed or deodexed
ext4 support
kernel:
supernova kbase_powersaver3_190112_151220
or
SNQv6
notifications dropdown menu with quick settings (no recent apps if you like you can flesh mod from recovery)
no boot sound
Plus I added a few apps (or updated existing) you may find useful (if you don't need them just delete them from system\app folder):
a2sdgui (fully functional)
ad free
android assistant
adobe flash player (latest update 02/2012)
daemon controler 3.3 beta3 (all you need is to install andrev OC daemon from app)
dsp manager
es file explorer
gmail updated
google maps updated
old market (still the best)
market enabler
titanium backup
voice search updated
youtube updated
I also removed some of the pre-installed apps with their widgets (useless in my oppinion):
friends stream
stock
flicker
footprints
Roms are made for stock hboot ONLY!
Do a full wipe (data/cache/dalvik) before installation, rom will not do that instead of you!
Thanx to:
SNQ and droidzone - for kernels
dsixda - for the kitchen
MrLuje - for quick settings
darktremor and ownhere- for more space
ali8383 - for Arabic support RTL patch
coolexe (found ownhere's data2ext flashable .zip in his thread)
RSK Team - for making Amaze cam available for use

NOTIFICATION FOR DEODEXED:
After installation, when rom settles down, go to a2sdgui, allow superuser permission, and select 'move dalvik to sd', reboot will last 10-15 min (it's normal) and you will get about 135mb free in internal storage.
RTL and Arabic language support (reading & writing) patch (for deodexed only!):

Known mods that work on official 2.3 rom:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1204178
Anyway, after installation you can flash whatever kernel you want, as long as it is Sense compatible!!!
Something new!!!
Since I had no success in fitting cm7 hboot with the rom I tried something else. Here is new made rom, with new kernel (Droidzone full battery calibrated #22), with all previous stuff (+TP to wake), but without immediate a2sd. So, after flashing of rom you will have to flash different data2ext method I found (ownhere's data2ext with some modification found in coolexe rom (Coolsense2.1) thread). After all you will have about 500-1000MB of internal memory (according to the size of your sd-ext).
I also forgot Daemon controller so I'll attach it to the thread.
But the first thing you'll have to do is repartitioning your sd card (I suggest 4ext or you can use clockworkmod recovery) like this:
1st partition fat32 xyMB
2nd partition - sd-ext - ext4 - 768MB (the 1st ext that recovery will ask you)
3rd partition - sd-ext2 - ext4 - 256MB (the 2nd ext that recovery will ask you)
NO SWAP!!!
You can use different values for sd-ext partitions, but ext proportion HAS TO BE 3:1 (like my suggestion 768:256)!!!
After repartition of sd card go to recovery and do A FULL WIPE. After wipe flash the rom, and WITHOUT REBOOTING flash data2ext package.
So, here are the links:
Rom link:

data2ext link:
http://www.fileswap.com/dl/KYlApaurIr/Flashable_Data2Ext_New_v9.3.zip.html
short
http://bit.ly/JFaw3D
One more thing, testing the rom using data2ext I experienced a bug, so if you choose this solution for your rom DO NOT, I REPEAT DO NOT restart your phone from power menu (pressing power button) IT WILL CORRUPT THE SISTEM!!! Use alternative rebooot methods, for example I use 4ext recovery updater power menu.
I'll try to find the solution for the bug, but I still think that it is a usable rom

According to demands I contacted RSK Team and granted permission to use Amaze cam. So here are the links where you can find Amaze cam as a flashable .zip, flash it from recovery and enjoy!!! As soon as I find some time I'll try to cook something with cam inside.

And for some having neverending sync issue I attached Friendstream.apk, push it to /system/app folder and that should solve it.
Please provide:
-a note regarding differences between these two kernels
-flashable .zip with friend stream and rest of the items you removed
also, a non-OC variant would be nice. But anyway, your work is much appreciated! I thought I'd stick with Nick's ROM but now I think I'll reconsider. At least I'm gonna give it a try
Keep up the good work
p.s.
also the default bootanimation w/o sound would be nice

About kernels:
Main difference is that droidzone gives you some more juice, and the batt should last longer. But with SNQ you can get some more speed, and tweeks. Anyway, rom works fine with both of them. Here are the links so you can see the difference (SNQ shoud be with all mods).
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1039004
http://supernova.droidzone.in/?p=1134 (name is Powersaver v3 – Jan 19 3pm IST)
And for non OC I'll find a flashable kernel and post you the link, or you can download kernel from HTC-dev site and flash it from recovery (I think that you will get it as a flashable zip, I'm not sure).
About apps I removed, I'll see what can I do about it, anyway I'll make a new rom with everything.
But I want to point that my main idea was to make pre-rooted stock rom, that has OC, UV and ext4 support, and to remove the apps athat I don't need at all. For example, stock app is always running, and the only way to stop was to use some other app that will kill it, but that means that I have another app that is running and eating ram... And the rest I removed I never used.
P.S. Attached is your stock bootanimation, copy it (with ES file explorer or root explorer) in system/customize/resource folder and replace the exiting, or put it in the same place inside rom before flashing (and, of course rename it to bootanimation).
Thank you!
One more thing. Is there any way to completely remove a2sd from system? I don't need any more internal storage space, and the less clutter the better.
Personally, I'd consider making third, more "stock" version of the rom, without DSP manager, titanium backup and other additional apps, but with all the other default apps (like maps, youtube, flashplayer) up to date, like it is now, and the useful notification power widget kept.
I'd do it myself, but I have absolutely no experience with ROM modding. Maybe you could provide me with a tool that you used?
OK, about the rom, I will try to cook something, but without a2sd you will get less space. Darktremor a2sd works very fast and I had been using it for a long time with stock rom, before I switched to the custom one.
For cooking I used dsixda offline rom kitchen:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=633246
there you can find downloadable installations and tutorials how to use it. If you need some help just say.
Mod for quick settings I found here, there are also different versions but I like this best.

Not sure what you think with stable until now, is it not stable any more?
Member abokamel gave me a link and I found a package from Madmack's blog, downloaded it and installed on PC. I successfully made all files for patching but after importing them to the rom I didn't get no Arabic in languages or keybords etc. I didn't try to apply a patch after installation and maybe it could work.
Does it work with your RTL? Tell me if it works and I'll put the link in the first post!!!
About TP to wake, the kernels have support for it but I didn't implemented mod inside the rom. You can try to download and flash it from here.

my friend its stable , i said "until now " becouse i just installed it
For madmac script it just for supporting RTL & Arabic language for READING AND WRITING . NOT whole ROM AND MENU
so after flashing the patch you will can read arabic in browser and email and other application
The original HTC keyboars does not support arabic latter , so you have to install other keyboard that support arabic "THERE IS MANY IN MARKET"
Finally : Arabic menu is not that important for me , what important is reading and writing
THANKS AGAIN AND I HOPE TO IMPROVE YOUR DEVELEPING SKILL TO GIVE A STATE OF ART ROM
SOME PICTURE FROM THIS ROM , SHOWING IT SUPPORT ARABIC
Ali, well done brother, nl00000, another great improvement to include/integrate Arabic language to your amazing rom, but I'm having a really serious problem with ALL 2.2 & 2.3 which is the slide 2 unlock, it's just open the call or cancelled it while I grab my phone of my pocket, so, is there any way to have sense 3.0 or 3.5 answer method?, and battery percentage?
thanks in advance.
Having problems with upload, I tried Mediafire and Fileswap but they kick me out when I have 50% of file uploaded.
Any suggestion?

No worries.. I'm just as ready as everyone else.. Too bad I don't have kernel knowledge

I found this N920T (note 5) STOCK kernel posted in this forum earlier today but
forgot who posted the link. It's an Odin flash TAR file, perhaps you can use it.
Here is the download link in case you can use it:

Good luck,
Have a great day!

Thanks but no stock kernel will not work unless it has been modified.. There's a reason I left it out lol

I will put together a stock boot tar.. And if you send me one for your device I will put together one for your device too. But it's just not cool to take peoples stuff they put together for the community and upload to your host and share it around..
No harm no foul..
Will that stock boot tar be compatible with my s6 edge+ too?
Perhaps since the Note 5 and the s6 edge+ are almost identical
the roms, recovery and the kernel might be interchangeable. ..
Maybe that's just a lot of wishful thinking on my part.
Have a great day, and good luck with the rom.

I'm not sure. If it has any similarities to the s6 and s6 edge then it might boot but stiff gets broke like screen gets twisted on x Axis and whatnot so I kind of doubt it.. But recovery I'm sure would be fine.
In the build.prop issues like the screen might be an easy fix by renaming
the model numbers or the versions.
To me it looks like the actual rom has parts in it for more than one phone
model and certain files like the build.prop tell the rom which parts to use
depending on the phone's model.
Or am I completely wrong?

Yeah I don't mean to sound rude but yea you're wrong the build.prop won't do anything if you make the changes I mean if you flash it and your axis gets inverted you just put in the dialer code *#2663# and press ftp firmware upgrade and it will fix it it..
The kernel modules is what tells it what to do

Yea, I know about that *#2663#, it saved my bacon when my touchscreen on my
Note 4 went crazy, it was the right resolution and size but none of the touches
corresponded with what was on the screen, however the s-pen did work properly.
After punching in that code and doing the upgrade the phone worked perfectly.
Before finding that code I was about to flush the phone down the toilet. LOL
The problem was all my fault, I by error odin flashed the wrong version of twrp.
Zip failed to flash on my Note5. Restoring my backup, I'll get you the error log when I'm back in Android.
EDIT: Literally nothing helpful...
Code:
Installing '/sdcard/Deodexed-N920TUVU1AOGE.zip'...
Checking for MD5 file...
Skipping MD5 check: no MD5 file found
Error flashing zip '/sdcard/Deodexed-N920TUVU1AOGE.zip'
Updating partition details...
Let me take a look inside the zip and see what's up.
EDIT2: Yeah, you don't have a META-INF folder. No updater-script or anything. No wonder this won't flash. You'll need to fix that before this will flash.

The ROM I downloaded was complete, not corrupted. It's just missing essential files needed to flash the ROM.
What you're going to upload next, you've tested and it flashes? I can help you if you need.
EDIT: Oh, the link you put up was a system download lol gotcha, missed that part.

That is not the ROM that you downloaded that is just the system files that I put there for anyone to use as a base if they need I have to run it through archikitchen to get the updater script unless you have one lying around that will flash on our phones lol
I'm just getting home so I'm about to start running that it should not be long

Yeah, I missed that lol I quickly threw one into the system download, it just successfully flashed, but it's bootlooping after hitting the T-Mobile logo haha I'm at work, so I'll look at it later.

The lollipop updater scripts are different from jelly bean they have to find the block and mount it that's why I have to run it through the kitchen real fast I just threw this up there the other day for any better qualified people to use as a base.
Now that we have root I'm about to get the updater script and throw it in there and upload

No, you can do something like this:
Code:
run_program("/sbin/mount", "-t", "auto", "/system");
and that'll work just fine.
I have a feeling mine bootlooped because of permissions or symlinks, but it wasn't booting far enough for me to get a logcat of it.

Exactly.. Archikitchen does all the sym links in the updater script.. I'll admit I'm not that skilled lol I can just build a simple ROM. It seems like you know what you're doing if you can help in any way that would be appreciated other than that the only way I know how to do it is through the kitchen
