Apparently you are having difficulty understanding what zelendel posted in your last thread, just before he locked it.
Everything you are looking for is here. It is obvious you are not searching. In fact, you aren't even *browsing* these sections.
Requests to be spoon-fed don't go over well.
As stated in the last thread I closed. Please search and read before opening a new thread. All the info you want is posted in the forums.

You want?
....Any custom rom will purty much have this. One that doesn't isn't worth downloading or is unsupported....
Don't do a search on the forums for Radio's and RILs or Installing Roms or anything else cause you would have to read and stuff. Sorry this is so long, I'm sure its putting you out.
Since u don't like searching, I think I can spare some time and help u out... $75/hour would be my charge. Let me know, and we can get started
That long body of text was more like only one question.....ughh. BOT, once your phone is rooted with a custom rom, there is no need for any ATT update. Like Diablo said, you are really lazy to use the search because there are several roms in the android development that are 2.3.3 or 2.3.4 (gingerbread). Also check the sticky thread mudknot created, it shall help you out young one.

Please do a search before opening a new thread.
Also you will find that many are willing to Help those that are willing to at least try and help themselfs first before just asking for a hand holding walk through.
All the info you want is in the forums. If you don't have the time to learn about what you are doing then maybe you shouldn't be doing it. I am not being rude so please don't take it that way. Imagine I walked you through it and didn't explain anything and then you have an issue, know where to look for a fix, post a new thread again asking for help? What you are doing could leave you with a non replacable brick. Flashing roms on your phone while fun, can be dangerous. So please take the time to learn about what your doing BEFORE you do it, or I see another "help I bricked my phone" thread in your future.
I have a infuse with infused 1.5 rom and now since I tried it out and all I want to go back to stock. I looked and have not found nothing to do this and I even did a factory reset and it still has the rom on it. How can I go about in going back to stock, and help or directions would be apperciated
by using the search function.

hey, I thought these forums were intended to help people out and not telling people to go do a "search"..
Why bother to even reply to someone if you don't want to be helpful.

Here is a link to get you back to stock, I would suggest to read the step by step instructions before you start doing anything.

This is the BEST and easiest way to get the Infuse back to stock.
Hope this helps
Have a great day.
People get frustrated with questions like this when the answer is in a thread topic on the first page of the development forum.
Yes, search is sometimes deficient, but in this case - the answer is right there in the thread topics and you don't even have to go one page back.

I am not sure if you are even aware of this, but there have been many a times when the "search" feature here in XDA does not work, XDA has some kind of daily cleanup or who knows what, and informs everyone that the search engine is down and not available between certain hours of the day.
Not to mention the fact that in the IRC channels some people tend to be even less helpful than they are here
(Hmm wonder why I don't get frustrated )

Why is it the wrong section???
Yes it has been posted all over the ICS ROM threads so it might be a little superfluous but all of those are in this section, so are you saying they should have been posted somewhere else as well?
While this particular thread is unnecessary it is absolutely relevant to the development of ICS ROMs and therefore it belongs in the development section.
Okay, everybody relax...
This ICS camera thingy has everyone on edge
Everyone's just trying to help... including all three of you... so lets just keep the fuses a little longer and try to work with each other. Let the thread be... if it's not popular, it will move down on its own...
Cheers
Original thread says it works in most of the HTC phones. but I want to be sure about that from HTC desire s devs from this forum.

Yeah I agree. Everyone relax
Some people are trying to help.
Others are flaming each other in other ICS threads not to post the fix etc.
Just chill and be patient.
We will have ICS pretty soon

I am totally relaxed about the camera thing, I don't even use the camera so I don't really care when it gets fixed. What I am not relaxed about us people constantly telling other people they are posting in the wrong section when they are not . This guy was trying to help and got hit on.

I didn't hit him anyway, it was just a hint, i even thanked him.
The thing is that the thread is for sure important for our developers, but got nothing to do with desire s development itself, it's a thread for a different device.
That's why it should be posted in the general section and not in the development section.
For sure i can understand that he posted it here, i also once opened a thread here that should have been at the general section and i was aware of it, but that's a different story with another background.

You missunderstood me, i meant my hint about the wrong section
Before this thread has been opened it was already posted at the relevant threads and i'm sure the developers already knew it before it where posted by anyone here.
And btw there is atm one ics with working cam released, nexx just started and anounced it, but didn't release it yet
Guys, this is turning into a mud-slinging match. The thread in question has been rendered useless by all this enmity.
No matter which of you wins the argument, this thread is lost for ever, as it is no longer serving the purpose for which it was opened.
Just let it slide. Nobody wins anything here, even if one of you manages to prove a point.
Peace.
Okay, so I'm too new to XDA to post in the developers thread, so I'm asking here: I have been flashing LC'a CM9 builds for the Desire HD on my Inspire 4g and am very excited about it.everything works enough for me to make it a daily driver. However, I'm getting three soft keys on the screen, under the dock. I'm assuming these are the keys for a real DHD, where we have hard keys already. Was wondering if a: anyone else is getting them, and b: if/how they can be turned off.
Note: I didn't search the development thread, because I've read dang near every post, even the off-topic ones and didn't see any mention of the problem. But since that is a Desire HD forum, the issue may not be known.

The Inspire is a real DHD. They are 99.9% the same phone. Radio and extra mic are the only differences. So what you see is what everyone would see. Maybe you should have asked this on the Desire HD forum since that is where the ROM is located. What ROM are you talking about? His ICS build? I don't even see one titled what you said it was. Also you should tell us what the buttons look like so someone may give you an answer.
I believe he talking about the on-screen soft keys(Ala galaxy nexus). You can turn those off its one of.the display settings.
Marsdta, thank you for the helpful response. That is indeed where I found it. I was expecting it to be a Trebuchet setting, for whatever reason. Seemed the more intuitive place.
Agoattamer, I cannot help what you can or cannot see. You post was 100% UNhelpful. If you don't know the answer, don't respond. The ICS thread IS there, in the DHD dev forum.

Then go there and ask the question in the correct forum. And learn to give real info in the future. Help us help you.

[smacks self on forehead] Now, why didn't I think of that? I did post in the DHD forum...if you search, you'll find it, just like you'll find the thread in the DHD Dev thread about the CM9 beta being worked on.
And, just like here in this forum, one person was able to figure out what I was asking and provide helpful information.
Just 'cuz I'm new here, doesn't mean I'm a noob (or anyone else is, either).

Love how you changed the title of the thread to use the correct info from the ROM in it. Should have changed this line too:

At least you know now that the Inspire is a real DHD. I never once said NOOB, you did. But I am so happy that I could be 100% unhelpful to you.

I came from a T-Mobile vibrant. With those phones flashing a Rom meant simply going into recovery and flashing a zip file.
Now being on an HTC all I see with ROMs is having to push an IMG file. No simple process of just flashing a zip file from recovery
Is this because we don't have S-OFF yet? Or is this just an HTC thing?
Sent from my HTC One S
I don't know of any roms on here that need to be pushed to flash.
You may, if mentioned, need to fastboot (or run a dev executable) to install boot.img. Mainly if going to a 1.78 baseband. That has to do with s-off, but also some devs change the boot/ramdisk for their roms. Just need to be sure you have right rom version for US TMO--and do the usual nandroids
The RUU is differnet and is flashed from pc, not pushed

np--this was confusing for me coming from N1
kinda still is--
just been reading ALOT to try and figure it out
good luck

Ya, reading is definitely the key. Learned that from back when I preordered the G1.
Took me 4 days of reading before I even attempted to unlock the boot loader on this one s lol

+1
Reduces or eliminates a lot of heartache--
A lot of people never figured that out on my old N1 Forums--
I see here people are a lot better at reading OP and posts prior, but maybe because Forum is relatively new and threads don't have 1 to 2k+ posts yet--
Maybe that's the reason. It is a pain trying to find answers in threads that are like hundreds of pages long.
A good OP is someone that if there's new found answers in the thread like hundred pages in, they'll update the OP with that information. That way you aren't trying to skim thru backwards from someone's post saying "I answered that a few pages ago". Then you have to work backwards trying to find it
Sent from my HTC One S
Agreed,
I usually recommend reading OP page and first and last 20 pages or so. Of course, Search and Google first.
I will say the devs on this forum are very helpful, as are members. One reason I went with the One S over another nice phone like the Galaxy Note. That's another story though--
Anyway--enjoy--
