MMS on Orange - HTC Sensation

Hi
I've got a Sensation which I'm using with O SIM. I've copied the internet settings from the website which work ok, but I'm unable to get the MMS to work. Again I've copied them from the Orange help website and I've had a teletubbie talk me through it to no avail.
These are the settings they suggest
Press the Menu key and tap New APN.
Select Name, enter Orange MMS and tap OK.
Select APN, enter orangemms and tap OK.
Enter the user name and password listed below. If no value is listed, leave the field blank.
User name: Orange
Password: Multimedia
Select MMSC, enter http://mms.orange.co.uk/ and tap OK.
Select MMS proxy, enter 192.168.224.10 and tap OK.
Select MMS port, enter 8080 and tap OK.
If available, select Authentication type then select PAP
Select APN type, enter mms and tap OK.
Press the Menu key and select Save
Many thanks

I've been thru the same process with the above settings and still MMS doesn't work on orange. I even copied the setting from my old Desire HD, still didn't work.
Mine is a UK Vodaphone model.
Any help on this please?

You should trade with somebody who has a Vibrant, as Simple Mobile uses T-Mo 3G bands.
Plus, you know, they have their settings on their own website.

Default APNs

Ok, I accidentally deleted one of my APNs the other day and now all I have is the default epc.tmobile.com. Does anybody know what the other APN is?
Normally you'd have two APNs in a completely stock phone labelled "T-Mobile Data" and "T-Mobile MMS"
Both of them point to epc.tmobile.com, the only difference is "T-Mobile MMS" has the "MMSC" field filled in with "http://mms.msg.eng.t-mobile.com/mms/wapenc" and has the APN type set to "mms".
You don't really need two different sets of settings for MMS though. You can just set the MMSC to "http://mms.msg.eng.t-mobile.com/mms/wapenc" in the one APN you have already and it should work. Try setting it and send an MMS to yourself and see if it works.

I just got a PTEL SIM, but I am unable to get into the APN settings at all to adjust these. Every time I go to "Settings>Wireless and network>Mobile networks>Access Point Names", I get a "Sorry! The application Settings (process com.android settings) has stopped unexpectedly. Please try again" error with the only option being to force close the process. I would like to try using APN backup & restore or a similar program to restore it. If you wouldn't mind backing your APN file up & sending it to me, I'd appreciate it.
**Actually n/m, I got it to work. The APN file on my phone was corrupted somehow. For anybody else having similar issues getting into their APN settings, I used APN Backup & Restore to delete the APN files on my phone, then just manually added a new one following the OP's instructions. Also, some other sites specify the whole case sensitive thing, but then capitalize "Wholesale" which didn't work for me. I followed the exact capitalization as the OP and can finally send MMS pictures. Thanks rpetrover!!**
Thanks,
MP.
Anyone else having issues the last week or so with PTEL data/mms?
My wife had been having issues, but we don't use data much so didn't really think about it. Then today someone sent an mms and I had no data to download it, and popped my ptel sim into my old phone to see if it was my ROM or radio, and the other phone had data with the Ptel sim. The difference? The old phone still had the Tmobile APN info.
I added a Tmobile apn to my current phone, and got mobile data back. Seems backwords, but it is on the Tmobile network, so I guess it isn't that far fetched.
So if anyone else is haven't issues with no data on Ptel recently, try adding a Tmobile apn and see if that fixes your issue (don't delete the PTel one in case something changes). Can't hurt.

APN Settings - Oneplus 7 - Non Rooted or Unlocked

Hi there,
Just wanted to ask if there was a way to adjust the APN settings on the oneplus 7 as it appears it has been greyed out with no "+" sign to add new. Not sure why this is happening as I came from a oneplus 3 device which had this option. My father is traveling in europe right now and has the same device, he is unfortunately unable to edit the APN settings with the purchased sim card which is causing him grief. Why has this been disabled? For some reason as well the carrier that he is using, BONBON in Croatia, the pushed settings are not correct and thus he cannot get internet or 4G internet working. I should mention my device is not rooted or unlocked bootloader and this would not be an option for him over in europe as he is not comfortable nor has the setup to do so.
Is there any help here? It appears it may be just our phones as I checked with another pixel 3 locally here and it has the "+" sign available to add another setting etc.
Thoughts on this, really need some help to get him going over there!
New development:
Turns out the "+" sign has now appeared and we have attempted to enter the following information from BonBon technical support. Unfortunately after we enter the below information and hit save, nothing happens. I have found another post on here indicating that MVNO should be set to something to allow for it to save. Weird. I haven't tried, but here are the results of the APN settings below:
Name: Internet
APN: internet.ht.hr
Proxy: Not set
Port: Not set
Username: Not set
Server: Not set
MMS center: Not set
MMS proxy: Not set
MMS port: Not set
MMC: 219
MNC: 01
Authentication type: PAP
APN type: default, supl
APN protocol: IPv4
APN roaming protocol: IPv4
APN enable/disable: APN enable
Bearer: Unspecified
Mobile virtual network operater (MVNO) type: None
Once I hit save and back out there is nothing there listed, no matter what i did.
check on yur phone if you have an app created on your phone by the sim card:
"SIM Toolbox" or "BonBon services" or something like that
Hi there,
Unfortunately nothing was created, is there an app or tool I can use to get this added? Any ideas as to why it wont save after trying to add?

Having the same problem, and I DO have an app called "Sim Toolbox" listed as somewhere on the phone, but not in the app drawer. Is it part of the problem?
