Guys, just recently received my Google Music invite and got everything dialed in on BAMF 2.1 but I'm getting a FC every time I open it up. I searched on here and couldn't find anything so I just wanted to see who's got it running and on what Rom? I didn't want to Fix Permissions since Adrynalyne said Sense Rom's don't like that, any suggestions?
Edit: Cleared data in app, wipe cache and dalvik.....GOOD TO GO

Ok, I tried to avoid bothering people to solve this but I am just genuinely lost.
The other day I finally took the plunge and rooted my Nexus S and everything worked perfectly. So I decided to install CM7 7.0.3 Stable so I did a Nandroid backup of my current rom, then flashed CM7. Again, everything looked fine. So I proceeded to flash the google apps. As soon as I did that and logged into my google account, the market started going nuts trying to download all of my apps. The count in the notification bar was actually higher by a substantial margin than the apps that it was actually installing. After this happened, the first few downloads worked then the rest of them started to fail. So, at this point, I had a successfully installed rom and all of the google apps worked perfectly, except I couldn't download anything through the market.
At this point, I thought it would be best to go back to my restore point through Nandroid. Once I reverted back to my stock 2.3.4, the problem was still there. I wasn't able to download anything from the market. So, in my frustration, I went out drinking with my buddies and ended up crashing on a couch. In the morning, I woke up, my phones battery toast so I got into my truck, plugged it in, booted up and voila, market works again.
This led me to believe it was a server side issue. So today, I reinstalled the CM7 and google apps and tried again. Same issue. Now I am wondering, do I leave CM7 on for 24 hours to see if it fixes itself again or do I try to find another copy of the google apps. The ones I have are the ones I dl'd through rom manager.
Before anyone asks, I have tried all the usual suspects:
-Cleared the market data / Cache
-Cleared the Cache in Clockwork
-Cleared the Dalvik Cache in Clockwork
-Tried reflashing the google apps
No dice.
Anyone else have this issue or have any ideas for me?
Hey guys ever since yesterday google talk wont sign in i get a notification saying google talk authentication failed and since that i cant download any apps from market...
The apps from market starts to download but it quicks in a second
i have tried a factory reset, clear cache and data from market and google talk worked for 5 minutes than the problem started again and now clearing cached and data wont help...
Nothing has change so this problem occur to me is there any way to fix this? I have a stock rom and kernal and rooted...
Had the same problem. I signed up for g+, and my profile had been suspended. Took more than 24 he's to correct. Go into the g+ web apparently and look at your profile.
With a suspended profile some serviced won't work. For me it was talk and latitude.
Sent from my LG-P999 using XDA Premium App
i never signed up for google+

Use something like Astro or Titanium Backup to back up the apps that are giving you problems, then uninstall and restore them. I used to have a the same problem and this solved it for me. Also, I would always get a force quit error when starting up certain apps.
Ive been using Eagleblood 1.9 Based on the OTA GB 2.3.3 for months now with no problems. Just recently i experienced an issue with my contacts where it would force close sometimes when trying to edit or create a new contact as well as trying to change the display options. **This only happens when i have my facebook or skype accounts added to the phone and syncing contacts with them **
I have tried re-installing, using the stock rooted 2.3.3 rom as well with no luck. Contacts works fine if i go to Settings > Accounts & Sync and remove all of the accounts there. I also used the Rom Manager to fix permissions, cleared contacts data and re-synced and the only thing that seems to work is like i said remove the accounts completely besides of course my Google account!
Cant seem to figure this out tried looking across the board for the same issue but havent had any luck has anyone else had this experience as well?
The error i get is the usual force close no other option on process "android.process.acore"
--- can any1 help with this?
Update: well i answered my own question if anyone is experiencing this you need to format everything internal sd & ext sd, ive lost all my back ups and apps and text messages as well as pictures not backed up however ive installed everything back on that i had and somehow this is gone! weird!
I've tried a few custom ROM's but decided to go back to stock 2.3, primarily for the better BT experience since I use it a ton with a BT gateway to play music around the house and backyard through my home theater (if you haven't done this, you are missing out). Wiped cache and dalvik, used G2X scrubber, loaded the rooted stock OTA rom. All is well, except...
When I use the voice command "e-mail [insert name] whatever I want to say", it opens an e-mail to the person with whatever I said, good so far. When I press send, it gives a force close error. Not getting FC errors with any of the other basic voice commands like message, navigate to, search, etc.
Searched but didn't find anyone with a similar issue... grateful to anyone who has a recommendation on a fix/solution. Thanks!
go in and clear the cache for both voice commands, and your email app.
also, are you using the stock Email app or Gmail?
Tried that... clear caches on both, rebooted, no luck... that was my first thought at a fix as well.

Same issue for me.
Howdy,
Was wondering if anyone else has seen this behavior. I follow all pre-install wipes, directions, etc.
Have tried almost all of the most recent ROMs in the last week: Devastation, Revelation, Emancipated, AEON. I love every single one of these ROMs, but for some reason JUST Google Talk, installed via Talk Installer 1.3 keeps going offline and I have no idea why. It doesn't crash, I just open it and my video icon is green but everyone is gray/offline. This never happened before last week. I'm wondering if it's a new element to the most recent ROMs that could be conflicting or I'm using an old Talk installer?
I tried re-installing and wiping data, but still happens. And again, ONLY with Gchat.
Thanks for any feedback!
