Hi guys! I don't post here often so please go easy on me!
I have managed to brick my phone updating it from 2.2.1 through Samsung Kies. Now I don't really care how it is done, I just want my phone back with the stock firmware.
Worth noting, I kind of know how to use Odin, so if Odin is the route, if someone can point me in the right direction of a PIT and TAR file, would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

okay guys long story short i flashed my phone with the wrong firmware. i have a sgs showcase from cellular south.
my phone gets stuck at the samsung logo, and plays the cellular south logo music. I believe reflashing it with odin using the stock firmware file will work, but i dont have one. PLEASE HELP omg please help. i think it'll be a .tar file right? and if i just redo what i just did using the right firmware it'll work? thanks so much. i cant say please enough
EDIT: by the way i can get to the android with the shovel and odin detects my phone. i just dont know how to go back to normal from there.

Wont CyanogenMod help??? Not quite sure what youre problem is, but anyway...
i flashed the fascinate recovery.tar to my showcase on accident and im trying to get my original back.
Go to the device forums and search for odin that will fix it all

find the right .tar file FOR YOUR PHONE!! ... Odin is pretty easy, if ur skeptical theres Youtube videos on it..

I need you help, I've Giorgio Armani Galaxy S I-9010 and I was trying to update the firmware. There was 2.2 on it and I wanted to update to 2.3.5 which is the latest official for Galaxy's.
Anyway; it's my first Android phone, that's why I didn't know how to do that. So I started to play with Odin, Samfirmware etc. As you could easily guess; now my phone is BRICKEd and I can not use that.
Now I need your help and directions. Otherwise I'll have to throw my lovely phone away. I want to restore all the factory firmware and settings back so I installed from samfirmware.com -all the necessary files. I got I9010XXKB2 file which has GT-I9010-CSC-MULTI-OXA902407.tar and I9010XXKB2-REV00-ALL-low-CL909299.tar. And I also have GA3_add_hidden.pit file.
As I read forums, I need to put I9010XXKB2-REV00-ALL-low-CL909299.tar and GA3_add_hidden.pit to Odin and it should have worked but always gives errors. I tried different combinations, I installed older version of Odin as well but can not do!
Also Odin has other parts such as PDA-PHONE-CSC etc. In that case, I use PIT and PDA options, not CSC and PHONE. Because I downloadad latest firmware from samsfirmware and there were only 2 files in zip.
Other than that; in that zip file, in that case again, I use I9010XXKB2-REV00-ALL-low-CL909299.tar and other file; GT-I9010-CSC-MULTI-OXA902407.tar -where do I have to put that?
AS you see, I don't know too much and I need to be directed. Could you please help me about that guys? I 'really' need that! Thanks in advance
hello guys. i know that i am new here but i have a questions. i've been searching the firmware of that device then i can't find any other mirror except with rapidlink. something like that. but i have already used my slot and also when interrupted it goes to waste.. where can i find one? i am trying to flash the stock firmware of the said device.
my second concern is that i've downloaded an firmware (SM-N9150F) but when i try to flash it it say FAIL (auth) is there a way to solve this. as we know all that they are all the same devices..

I'm having an issue with my Sprint Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge. I'm trying to restore it back to unrooted stock because I'm transferring it over to my wife. I was able to odin it back to stock but I cannot get rid of the Renegade splash screen. Can someone point me to the right file to get it back to a completely fresh phone like it would have just came out of the box?
I thought that I'd be able to find the actual Samsung software and restore it with that but I've had no luck finding it. So I thought someone here may be able to link me to the proper tar file, or link me to the official Samsung software so I can restore it that way.
Any help would be greatly appreciated, thank you in advance!

It's the stock param file (stock Splash Screen). Place it in the BL slot in odin
You can upgrade to Marshmallow 6.0.1 to get rid of the the splash screen.

Thanks guys, I did end up finding the marshmallow tar file. It worked like a charm and the the phones like brand new.
