[APP]Miui Music Player .zip for charge - Verizon Droid Charge

I put together a .zip file with the miui music player.
Personally I really like this one so I thought I would share it.
Installed it on my Charge and haven't had any problems.
1. Place .zip file on SD card
2. Install via CWM
3. Restart phone.
Enjoy.

2.0 Music

Can somone upload the standard android 2.0 music.apk file? The one that comes with the damage control rom is the HTC music app, which is just slow and annoying to use. I would much prefer the standard android music 2.0 or 2.1 apk file if anyone could upload it.
Thanks
Got this from DarchVanilla
thanks a bunch. I'm just curious, how did you manage to get the music file out of his installer? Did you like open it via rar or or something?

No problem. I just opened the update zip with winrar and went to the system/app folder and pulled it out.

i dont know how to make flashable update.zip files to flash in recovery.
can someone please make one so that it wil copy the attached folder to /system/media?

Why not just put them on your sdcard in media folder? I think all roms read from there too as long as the paths are the same (minus the system folder)
Yeah, make the below folders on the sdcard either on the root, or within a folder called media:
notifications
ringtones
alarms
The phone will then present the contents of these when you are selecting one (eg/ the notifications contents will be visable when choosing a message alert).
i am familiar with the media folder on the root of the SD card, however, there are 2 reasons why i dont use it:
1. sometimes, the response is slow, so when someone calls, for a second or 2, the phone lights up with the contact calling but does not ring immediatly.
2. some files get duplicated.
thanks for your quick responses!

Strange, never noticed this happen to me. I've had it play a default ringtone while my sdcard was mounted, but never noticed any kind of delay otherwise.

Good point. I have a similar audio collection on my sdcard but I manually removed the ones that appear in CyaogenMod so they wouldn't duplicate but that could be a pain if switching between roms.
Anyway, here is the update.zip you requested
Crap, just over the 8meg attachment limit even with maximum compression, so here ya go:

Love it, I have never replaced a bootscreen. But I think I will have to try for this one.
Okay, I'm stupid.
How do I flash this?
Is bootanimation.zip in this thread the original one?
Do i just flash it (install from sd card) in cwm recovery?

The instructions are in the post.
Sent From My T-Mobile Inspire HD Using XDA Premium App
bootnimation.zip
adb remount
adb push bootanimation.zip /data/local
iphonefunnyflash.zip
flash through ClockWorkMod
that?
Oh I thought that that was one step. Now i see it is two for separate things.
thanks. sorry.
You can also use root explorer. You don't even need a computer to do it. Just download the zip to your SD card, and copy it with a root explorer. Go into data>local as R/W paste, and then reboot.

thats the easiest way to do it. ill update the post
SO in root explorer you just go to /data/local... and just place the bootanimation.zip there.. Then unzip the android_audio.zip, grab the mp3 file and place it in the same place?

you are correct and than reboot and you will have the bootanimation with sound.
Mortal Kombat and Apple getting taken off the stage.. love it!
I cant believe more members havent thanked you
Working beautifully on my Inspire, thanks alot
can you use this to get sound on all the bootanimations.zip?
yes you can just place everything in the right folder.
Assuming we're running stock we just put it into System/Customize/Resource
Is this correct?
Also If we don't want sound I assume just don't put the file in?
EDIT: I got it successfully. "System/Customize/Resource" is the correct location if you're on Stock based rom's. It's pretty hilarious.
I got no sound. Should I to rename the android_audio.mp3 file? What about the permissions?
this is F***ing AWESOME!
I am getting no sound even with the mp3 in the local folder. Used root explorer, moved anime to local and cut mp3 over to local and both in the same folder and no sound. Rebooted twice just to make sure and no go. Hmmmm

LeeDroid 2.2.0 music prblms

Hey. Ok so ever since I've been rooted I've only used leedroid roms and nvr had major problems but in the most recent release I can't get any music player to work. The one he supplies won't detect my music and neither is power amp... Thnx for any help
I can't say why it's not working on your phone, but what i can say is that i've no problems listening to my MP3's on Lee's ROM with the default player. Which file format do you use? Have you tried to copy it to another folder with a file explorer? It had once a problem with a pdf file but after i copied it to another folder it worked.
