Love the Sensation, and the UI, but has anyone rooted it yet? - HTC Sensation

Like the title says, has anyone rooted this yet?

No not yet and there's a couple posts like this already.

Maybe we should post a sticky showing development status until everything settles down and we're just cranking out ROMs.
Saves us from having to sort through thread after thread for simple answers.

I completely agree with you.

I'm sooo surprised

I have not seen any threads talking about us being able to turn off or phones and charge them after the CWM update! I remember when these came out people were upset about that.

It's been fixed in the latest cwm release...confused...
That's because everyone has talked about it in the Development forum. You should visit sometime
Oh that's cool. Haven't been on here in a while. Figured someone would post in general about it.

Congrats on your new purchase.
I also hope you like fires, because i'm sure you're going to get flamed a bit.
Welcome to the forum.
As guy above mentioned, don't be put off by idiots posting idiotic comments, there are a lot of nice people here. And anyway, that thread can be used as INTRODUCTION THREAD.
I don't see why he'd be flamed for moving up in the phone world.
Hey , I posted in the general section. Lol. And I wasn't asking any questions without doing research.

Hello. Hope you'll love HTC as much as I have these past few years.

Nope. Everyone has been saying they love it . Had one guy complain about battery life. That was pretty much it. Although he's kind of an idiot... Lol

As soon as I read the OP, I thought to myself, "Oh, no...dear God...spare this person's life for he knows not what he posts!".
Haha.
And yes, a quick search using our BFF Google would have given you the apk to download
Actually I saw the original thread before. No need for sarcasm, but thank you.

Just out of curiosity, if you already knew how to achieve Netflix on your Sensation, what was the post for? Not trying to be difficult, just wanting to understand the logic.

Any way to turn off Capacitive light on the HTC Sensation?

Hey guys, I want to turn off Capacitive light for my Sensation. It drains battery, and I think it makes the CPU hotter or it runs hot itself. Just a guess. Any ideas?
Thanks.

I see that you have already reposted this question in the Sensation forum, so please click on the little report triangle in the first post here and request that a mod close this thread, then click on the dropdown box and choose Thread/Post maintenance, then submit. Thank you.
I would also suggest that you read these two threads:

Sorry man. I'm new to the forums I think I know how this works now. I've been using XDA for a while and I decided to sign up. It's just that the app on android is painfully confusing and hard to use.

No problem, I understand. You can't report using the app, only through the browser, so I will request it for you.
Thanks, you're the best!

[Q] USB OTG

Is this possible on the Inspire? It has been implemented on the Desire.
I wasn't aware this had been achieved for the dhd as I have not seen any info on this. If it works for dhd though then it should also work for the inspire. Could you provide a link to the info on who got it working? Or on what Rom. I am curious as this has been an ongoing effort by many and no one that I'm aware of has achieved it.

I thought it was a clear no. You mistook sensation development for DHD. Its not currently possible and with the device age, devs have moved on. I wouldn't expect it to be done ever.

sorry, I'm not an HTC guy, just looking into it for a friend.
Thanks for the info.
No worries.
