[Q] Evo Shift 2.3.3 meid locations

Has anyone done scans for meid locations on the new 2.3.3 ota gingerbread update, I see some had success on the Evo with the new 2.3.3 ota update but I have yet to see anyone post for the shift! Please post your locations if you have them, also what are the readable ranges?

I saw the memory locations somewhere. I forgot after the scuba easy repair solution. I'll look around for you. You should be doing this but I'm bored luckily

Hey This is Scuba....I cant use my username here because someone already has it...oh well....But the Easy method I had posted before is now outdated..There is now a much easier method that works on ALL HTC CDMA phones including the Evo 3D and the phone doesnt even need to be rooted.
The original method went from a full scan of addresses down to a second method where you only needed to find 1 master meid and 1 master pesn..Now there is even a simpler way

HTC Watch Voucher Code

Has anyone had any luck using a voucher code on HTC Watch app? I registered an account, it just never gave me the option to input a code. On top of that I've ended up spending £10 trying to figure out where to put the code and ended up buying Rango.
For those of you wondering you can get 60 pounds worth of movies for free from www.registration-htcwatch.com. It's just I've not been able to find where to put the bloody code.

What rom are u running.
when u click on a movie, it says add payment card, redeem code. i hit redeem code

Running stock Vodafone at the moment. When I get a couple of days off, ill be moving over to insertcoin or revolution. But stock only gives me the option of card payment. Might root my phone tomorrow night and switch roms tomorrow night.

im not on vodafone, even though it says vodafone on HTC REgistration site im still using the voucher on custom rom and unbranded ill be uploading a how to post shortly for everyone

Yeah I found out about it today, as soon as I got it working I thought I would post it on here when i got it working since I hadn't seen any posts on it. As for the CID change, most people should be able to follow the instructions for rebranding your device in the rooting guide in development. Might save you writing a guide.
When i install a custom ROM, I shouldn't need to fiddle with my CID should I ? Since i already have a Vodafone branded handset.

Tried it just for the heck of it with my TMOUS branded S4G. Doesn't like my US phone number I guess. Bummer.

Just gave it a shot and it worked. Thanks! If I make 10 email accounts and 10 fake numbers, does that give me 600 credits? I guess I'll just have to try.
EDIT: Do you know how long it takes to get the email? Maybe I'm just being impatient now.. =)

After several hours of research and playing around, I got my TB onto Pageplus with 3G, mms, sms, and voice all working. I hate that every solution I found online was "paid", and I didn't purchase any of them. Just put together the pieces of the puzzle from reading hundreds of online posts from various sources. Anyway, if there is enough interest, I'll invest the time in creating a video and written guide. If anything, I'll just put a donation link if anyone feels so compelled to give for my efforts.
Though the solution will be free, I did have to purchase CDMA workshop to get it working, which cost $100. If you're not willing to make that purchase, then I am not sure you will be able to make it happen. I don't think QPST alone will suffice.
So, should I invest some time in creating this? Anyone Interested? I imagine the same solution would work for any Verizon MVNO so long as the ESNs beginning with 99.... are not blocked by your carrier (they are not blocked by PagePlus).
EDIT: If you have ventured over here from that other forum that has a name similar to "cat", welcome. Now, GIVE ME ALL OF YOUR MONEY!! Hahahaha. j/k. Hope you find the solution useful.

I don't have the need for this, currently. But I am looking for another solution for my thunderbolt. I vote yes please on making the tutorial. Who knows, it may add to the pieces of the puzzle for myself and/or others on a similar venture.

Tutorial and proof in the OP. This also shows that the Thunderbolt can use 3G data AND voice simultaneously. I know some have doubted this ability. Pretty cool. Enjoy.

I wonder if it will work on a BIONIC. I got a good deal online and ordered one without knowing if I can activate on PPC...I dont think it will without this mod.
I went to the CDMA ware website and they had a "DEMO" version to download. Wil that be sufficient to do this?

Thanks for the video. I purchased CDMA-WARE workshop and programed the phone. Unfortunately I can only receive calls. I don't know what I did wrong. Can anyone help me get this phone working on page plus?

Have you been able to fix this? This programming seems very sensitive. Try swapping you ESN to another phone and back.
Also, what MMC and MNC # did you use?

You can't.
I have tried (with 2.7) and only messed up the phone. Buy 3.5.

I would do the process over again. And then swap esn to another phone and then back to the TB again...see if that helps. other than that, i don't know what to tell you.

ok . after swap esn to other phone nothing, but now work send calls,mesenges & incoming text ,incoming calls only come when I make a call and is in process, but if my thunderbolt part inactive, not recive the call again, any idea, thanks for the help

I personally don't need this but it's good to see we have options if we don't wanna use Verizon. I rememeber some guy was able to flash the TB on cricket but the douche was charging for info on how to do it....nice to see that you're sharing with the community on how to do this. I never heard of

Hypothetically if I had a Epic 4G Touch with a Bad ESN and I wanted to change my ESN/MEID to my Nexus S 4G would it be done in the same way as switching to boost with a donor phone
I am actually just curious. I don't see the need to upgrade my NS4G until GN comes to sprint.

Why would boost ban you? When I first tried to get my EVO on boost thru boost the rep told me that if I got my evo in their system they would have no problem activating service on it.

Why are you in this thread? You haven't contributed any useful information at all.
For everyone else: I just put a Sprint Nexus on Boost, CDMA Workshop isn't needed, its a 20 minute process using QXDM and QPST and is the same process as an Epic, or Moment or any other Samsung Android phone. Just make sure your using a 3g phone like an Incog or Touch Pro/2.

As stated in an earlier post, the question wasnt about legality. Yes, im sure he understands that there may be some legality issues with this, nobody posted a how-to or detailed info on how to perform what he wants to do.

Hey guys, Im new here but look forward to learning from this great community. That being said, I also questioned the leaglity of switching a phones netwrok. From what I understand, it should be legal according to the new exemptions to section 1201 of the Digital Millennium copyright act:
The new exemptions allow circumvention of (A) locks on cellular phone software, known in the industry as “bootloader” programs, that prevent customers from switching carriers without obtaining new handsets;

That being said, I had a Nexus flashed to boost and it works fine. The only problem that I have is that they will not port my old number over due to it being an 'unsupported device'. Now I need to figure out if I root it, will it cause issues with the flash?

The process is not the same as the evo, its the same as any other Samsung phone. Just google Epic on Boost and you'll find instructions.
As far as rooting the device, it wont affect the radio portion of the phone which is what is used to make calls use 3g data. The only thing that will be lost is the MMSC URL setting in the data menu only if you flash a new ROM. That setting controls pic and mms messaging. It will usually default back to "http://mms.mysprintpcs.com". Just edit it so it reads "mm.myboostmobile.com". The data menu is accessed in the dialer by ##3282#, you'll need the SPC to make any changes.

i have an htc evo shift and have switched it to boostmobile
i have talk text and i even have the 3g data icon lighting up
but when i try to connect to web or to android market it wont let me
i get an unable to connect message .......i had everything working
and then i did a ##rtn# and then it reset everything back to sprint
except for my esn/meid .......i am back on boost got everything working
again even have the 3g icon lighting up but still no data.....can someone help

Is there an apn your missing or something? I've been thinking about flashing my shift to boost just don't know how, and im not paying the local Craigslist Guy 150 to flash it to boost for me

Well I couldn't find it, the reason im bringing up the apn is because im using an unlocked ATT Inspire on T-Mobile so I have to add an apn sometimes, and had to add one for simple mobile
