Has anyone upgraded via Wirefly and used the "Keep My Plan" option?
I'm thinking of using it but I'm wondering if this actually does keep your plan, since I'm on a grandfathered myFaves T-Mobile G1 plan with a AAA 15% discount, neither of which are offered anymore.
It says "keep my plan" but I'm skeptical because you HAVE to choose a new data plan and a new texting plan.

And here's the checkout screen which says you keep all plan details... So... What the heck??
So I'm just wondering how this works. Has anyone upgraded through Wirefly before?
What does the "Keep My Plan" actually do?...
Anyone?

I know for a fact that it uses Data connection not SMS. You must have SMS'd away!

log into your carrier website and look at your account online ... and you'll see exactly how many you've sent and who you've sent them to.
you may have to upgrade your account! haha
Look at how many text messages I go through every month (bottom left)

Question: Not necessarily about the Nexus but the PlayStore in general...
Why for most magazines the price is .99c but a "year subscription" is $15-34+
Wouldn't it make the most sense to buy each issue when it's released for .99c rather than spending an extra $4 for a yearly subscription? Or am I missing something here? Does the price of the magazine decrease as the days count down to the newest one or something?

Would that not be like 2x the price?
.99c x 12 issues = 12$
.99c / $35 = $2.8 an issue for a "yearly subscription"
What the? Someone shed some light on what I may be missing here?
I tried to download a 750mb file with firefox but it stopped at 10%. So I got an app called Loader Droid and went to download the same file again but at 7% it stopped and I got two texts from t-mobile telling me that they cut off my tether. (I wasn't tethering)
I have unlimited data, 5gb highspeed, business plan and I will be calling the business department in the daytime. Does anyone have anything useful to add before I speak to them?
I don't think this is fair
upd: can't download this file with firefox mobile either...

T Mobile is currently selling the G2 for 400 bucks brand new, get it while you can that's a great price

Unfortunately this is only for new, postpaid activations.
It's actually also for upgrade, and the offer is no longer available. I was able to get on the deal and pay for it up front.

Ah well. It was still only for postpaid. I actually bought my G2 yesterday from Wirefly. I may have paid $200 more for the phone, but I'll be saving $600 in service rates over the next two years. I figure I'm coming out ahead.
I am well past my 5GB limit on my unlimited data plan and I still have full internet speed. I'm at 5.73GB and there is no throttling. In the past, as soon as I got close to my data cap my speeds would slow to 0.5 Mnps. Right now I'm still getting 20 Mbps speeds. Anyone else notice this?

I thought I read that they were going to put that in effect early 2015. Maybe they started already (merry Christmas?). I'm with T-Mobile, so I can't confirm or deny.
