For the people who do not have reboots, will it help for dev to see screen shots of our baseband or any info or the phones that don't have reboot problems and good battery life. I can up load any screen shot or anything that may help. The only problem I have is the wifi not transferring data when its connected. My current uptime is 277:15....... not one reboot. And I ordered the phone on the 19th.

What apps do you have on your phone that you use often or anything that runs in the background?

Well I have most of the stock apps. A few benchmark testing Apps .go mms pro . PDA net. I have not rooted. And my battery last all day with moderate use. Alotbof calls. 1-2 hours cell calls. 30 mins. Web surfing. Bluetooth always on. And no type of app killing software. Also can you not post screen shots on mobile?

I noticed since the last update that when I load a new page it will occassionally just hang there for like 5+ seconds before it shows signs of life. I know it's not the rom I am on because it was doing the same thing on another rom to.
oh and this is on 4G & even happens with full bars.
Change to cmda only then start complaining

I've been noticing that for the last few days I can only get 2 bars anywhere in Dallas if the 4G-LTE symbol is present. If a call enterupts a data session and the phone drops to 4G, I get 4 or 5 bars. Is this normal? I used to get more bars and much faster internet.

The tower probably isn't broadcasting at full strength, I'm at 2 bars on LTE constantly also.
I really don't care, because 1 bar of LTE is faster then 5 bars of HSPA+, and that one LTE bar is still more stable then HSPA+.
What I notice is on LTE when I pull my phone out of my pocket I will have full bars of LTE then it will slowly drop down to one or two once I unlock the screen.

What part of Dallas? I have not noticed anything significant in north d (Richardson Plano and north on 75)
Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I727 using XDA App
I have noticed this all over north dallas, from the galleria area all the way to frisco. It wasn't like this a month ago. I use to get 4 or 5 bars and over 50 megabytes a second. Now I can only get 10 to 12 megabytes a second.

I have noticed an average of about that as well. The key spots that got 45± still do though. Those are always within a few hundred feet of an obvious/visible tower tho
Bars could be a number of things. Using a network info app we found last month that the skyrockets bars are nowhere near accurate
Showing 1-2 bars where another att phone (tested with orig gs2 and an inspire) showed more bars but signal strength was identical

I have not really been paying attention to my signal strength. I saw this thread earlier this morning. I took this screenshot at tollway and park in West Plano where I have always received 4 to 5 bars. Also checked several other places as I ran errands and did not noticed any differences. Did not run speed test.
I was at Preston and Frankford today, and I finally started seeing 4 bars, and about 35 mb/s. But I was also at Hillcrest and Alpha, and saw only 2 bars.
Interestingly enough, I did notice that sometime I have more bars on my home screen, then they drop back down to 2 almost as soon as I open my apps, just like Cyberguycpt stated. Maybe it's a coincidence, but it sure didn't seem so.
Mine have done that since release
...all over the nation

Hehe, you were at Preston and Frankford? I live behind the Tom Thumb there. xD
Anyways, I've noticed that mine does the same thing. It has 4 bars, till I unlock, then it slows drops down.
Meh, I still get good speeds, so it really doesn't phase me.
Even with the new baseband the G2x has a unreliable GPS (sometimes needing a reboot to work, etc). Is the Gnex much better? (Generally, and in urban areas or heavy tree cover)

<30 secs always.

Yes, The gps on my gnex locks from a cold start within 15 seconds. After the first lock it's pretty much instant every time after that.
Thanks guys.. I ended up ordering one last night. Seeing the Jelly Bean demos at Google I/O was the straw that broke the camels back.
Ill see u there

With the new baseband and v21y update I get locks within 15 secs or so every time. Mostly instantaneously.
Sent from my LG-P999 using xda premium
As I said in another thread, with v21y I get <15 second locks nearly all of the time; once in a while it'll be back to the 2-3 minute mark.
Rant. I have been having slow interernet speeds in the evenings for 15 days with three mobile and it has been logged with theur engineers for 15days. They have come back twice saying they thought it was fixed when it is not. Has now gone back again for up to another 7 days.
By slow talking below 512kps a second this is on the evening in the morning usually okay above 2mb
Anyone else get this run around from the company?!
