[THEME]PMD DarkBlue & BlueSteel |aospMod 9.9.2| (froyo) [12/22/10]

This is the "PMD DarkBlue" theme. It's mainly for those who like the darker themes but still want a little color.
Update: 12/22/10 v1.3
Themed the new Market to match (MUCH THANKS to JAguirre for helping me figure that out!), updated screenshots below.
Update: 12/19/10 v1.2
Themed Gmail: Replaced the new (ugly) gray notification from Gmail 2.3.2 with this one, along with some other theme integration.
Update: 12/16/10 v1.1
As you can see I have made a lot of improvements. The launcher Pro dock from my screen shots is in the third post. I made the text icons myself so there's only those 4 for now. If enough people are interested I may make a full set. NOTE: DarkBlue will change your clock and date color in the status bar to white so that it shows up on the black background. If you change themes and want the black clock and date back then just re-flash aospMod rom (no wipe) and it will change it back to stock.

BlueSteel 1.6 12|16|10
This is the "PMD BlueSteel" Theme for aospMod Rom. I used the Steel theme as a base (Jettipottsy, Gomorrah versions) and added some color and different things to it. NOTE:BlueSteel will not change your clock or date color white. It's that way in the screen shots because I run DarkBlue which does change the clock and date color.

Nice theme. I want to ask since I noticed from your sceenshots that you use LPP, the Friends Widget (Friendstream alike in Sense) have black text and using it on a dark wallpaper is unreadable. Do you know a way to change the text to white?

My Friends widget is dark gray semi transparent with white text. Goes well with the theme... Are you using a themed version of LPP?

Not that I know of. I have the LauncherPro Plus v0.8.1.0.

No Blackmod at all. It has some "Steel my elegance" features and a lot of custom blue stuff.

I added a few fonts in there. I think it was DroidSans that is default after you flash it.

Solved the widgets' black text on LPP. As you mentioned PDM, I has a themed LPP, got from another theme I tried to installed a couple of weeks ago. Uninstalled and reinstalled did the fix.

MANY Carousel "ROSIE MODS" Works on Synergy!

These Rosie mods are for strictly carousel use. These work on Synergy and should work on any 3.0 rom. PLEASE let me know if you try it on a different rom other then synergy so i can add what roms they work on in the op.

Hmmm that's weird. why is it that when I flash a 3d rosie from the synergy 2nd post thread I can flash any lockscreen I want without it messing up the rosie...i just like to change lockscreens rings from time to time .....
But anywho I see u got that clear rosie coming can't wait

I'm noticing that the in-call dialer is still the original blue. Just a heads up because this is probably easy to forget about if you don't have a reason to check your voicemail or call a customer service line.

And actually if you could do the green for Tweakstock instead/also that would be perfect since that's what I'm on at the moment and wouldn't have to worry about setting everything back up. (haven't had the best luck with CWM restoring backups) Either way looking forward to it since I don't think there's been green since Humble. Much appreciated!

1)Download desired icon pack, download desktop visualizer from the play store
2)Unzip icons and place them on your /sdcard/
3)Long press on your home screen
4)Select widgets
5)Select Desktop Visualizer widgets
6)Select desktop visualizer small(1x1SS)
7)Click the green gear android widget that desktop visualizer has created
8)Click Select Icons
9)Click Image File
10)Select Gallery
11)Find the icon image you want in your gallery and select it
12)Now your image should be selected so press Select Action
13)Click Launch application
14)Select the desired application to match your selected icon
15)Change the label color, touch effect, ect, to desired settings
16)Hit ok at the bottom of your screen and enjoy the new icon

The Molten ones are the original, the other two are just run by Photoshop in a batch edit so im guessing that has to do with the size differences.

Great job, OP, and thanks for the icons! Anyway of getting them in a darker blue? I'm running CM with the Steel Blue theme chooser theme, and these would just be the icing on the cake

Ill attach it below, i think i found it on zedge and made minor alterations so no bubbles would appear under the clock.

Haha oh yeah UMN.

These icons go great with ICS GB for CM7 or the theme u have in the screenies (I think its Sculpted if i remember correctly). Thanks for sharing, I frickin love this community!

Umm I cant remember what launcher decks runs... but unzip them, put the folder from the zip on you sdcard, then hold down on a icon on your launchers home screen and select change icon or something along those lines and you should see all the icons in your gallery. If you are using a launcher that cannot swap icon images then download desktop visualizer off Google Play and apply them through that app.

Umm no... ive taken the original apps icon image, cut out what needs to be made red or black colored from those images, built the image back together with the new colors then added the glow effect. Ill be the first to admit im no photo editing expert or graphics designer but I originally made these for myself and people asked me to release them. It takes longer then you would think to try to manipulate the icons preexisting colors to get the right look, its not like i just loaded a bunch of icons into Photoshop, tossed on a a hue saturation and said hey, look at these cool icons I made. But if you think you can do the same or better in like a "pretty easy" time feel free to show me up
Oh and btw if you feel like hating on someone go check out that other guys glowing theme because those images are literally loaded in and out of gimp. I should know he asked me how to make the effect.
Also since we are being critical of each others work your ICS them for MikG has the ugliest navbar and lockring I have seen in a while. Go for something more like an SOSX look or else good job haha.

Thanks Low. Been missing your talent on Classic.
A request and take it or leave it, I still like this theme. But I prefer a black transparent pull-down. I know that it's pretty involved because the text needs to change to white.
And the background when pressing an icon on the homescreen needs to match the theme color.
Again... my opinion and my preference. Appreciate your work either way.

Can that be done in the CCP? The only reason I don't change it because I have other apps that still have the black text and I need them to function for work. I will look into making a mod for it.
Also im with you on the backgrounds for the icon press. That is on my list.

You are correct! It can be done in CCP. So I guess that mods in CCP work like Metamorph. You can apply those mods without changing other elements in a theme. Cool
