This is the "PMD DarkBlue" theme. It's mainly for those who like the darker themes but still want a little color.

As you can see I have made a lot of improvements. The launcher Pro dock from my screen shots is in the third post. I made the text icons myself so there's only those 4 for now. If enough people are interested I may make a full set. NOTE: DarkBlue will change your clock and date color in the status bar to white so that it shows up on the black background. If you change themes and want the black clock and date back then just re-flash aospMod rom (no wipe) and it will change it back to stock.

This is the "PMD BlueSteel" Theme for aospMod Rom. I used the Steel theme as a base (Jettipottsy, Gomorrah versions) and added some color and different things to it. NOTE:BlueSteel will not change your clock or date color white. It's that way in the screen shots because I run DarkBlue which does change the clock and date color.

Nice theme. I want to ask since I noticed from your sceenshots that you use LPP, the Friends Widget (Friendstream alike in Sense) have black text and using it on a dark wallpaper is unreadable. Do you know a way to change the text to white?

My Friends widget is dark gray semi transparent with white text. Goes well with the theme... Are you using a themed version of LPP?

Not that I know of. I have the LauncherPro Plus v0.8.1.0.

I added a few fonts in there. I think it was DroidSans that is default after you flash it.
Solved the widgets' black text on LPP. As you mentioned PDM, I has a themed LPP, got from another theme I tried to installed a couple of weeks ago. Uninstalled and reinstalled did the fix.

Ha, yeah I get that. I cant wait for AOSP gingerbread to be stable. It looks nice to me with all the black in it now.
Want to give this a try but I seem to have problems downloading 4shared from my phone, grrr unless this theme is only 5kb lol

Also FYI Not sure if this was stated before but I use firerats Mod and have to flash the Fr-Boot after this theme. It works fine after that and looks great! Soooo long until I get an upgrade so thanks for keeping the hero stylish.

I've been running firerat's mod for a while now and I haven't had to flash it when applying themes. I only flash the boot when I change roms or a kernel and never had a problem.
Awesome theme! Love the bootscreen as well. Great job!

The gingerbread keyboard im not sure about themeing since its so new I do have a theme for the old keyboard though, and I can def look into the flip though

The flip animation is awesome. I saw the youtube clip and read the instructions, but I must be doing something wrong. Hopefully it is something you can just throw in the theme. This is my new daily btw. Great work!

I installed this theme via the apk and theme chooser. Now the color of the font used to show the text of a tweet or facebook status in their respective widgets is too dark to read. It is a very dark grey on a black background. If I switch to another theme it goes to black text with white background. Please make the text more in contrast with the background.
i got a couple questions, 1. will this work on my lg optimus s? 2. i am actually interested in the blue dialer and blue dialer background only is there a way for me to just install that portion? ...holy crap i need this dialer lol, i love android but HATE the green dialer and all the green android uses

Not sure about that one, understand that the theme chooser apk is more for devices that I do not update from day to day or for people who do not want to be bothered with flashing every day. But I will look into it. Thanks for the feedback.

Is CM7 available for the Optimus S?
sorry for the double post, in case you dont see it....thanks for the quick response! infact there is a cm7 rom availible for lg optimus s but i am not running it yet! im currently running the latest ThundeROM V1.8.2 can you make this happen? the blue looks so much better then the green, like i said im just interested in the dailer & dialer background portin which has been bugging me all this time and until now i know i dont have to deal with it lol
Works on my Aria with the APK. Good Job, looks good. Although, the rotary, unlocker, well say, is the same, Not blue.
It's my understanding the theme chooser app does not change the lock screen. His lock screen looks that way because he said it was originally a flashed theme.

SR4 seems like the most advance ROM yet, outside of CM7 which has a very crappy camera IMO.

If you install LP Plus from market, backup your settings. Then try flashing this theme again, and see if it automatically works. If it don't, then backup ur LP settings, uninstall LP, then flash this theme, open LP and restore backup settings should get u Plus version activated.

Love this theme, but the dialer in the dock doesn't work on my phone. Tried replacing the shortcut but I can't find the shortcut anywhere in the dock menu.
Everything else looks smooth but I can't make any calls! What am I doing wrong?

Does the sense launcher work, or other stock launcher?
Thanks for your unanticipated quick reply and sorry for being so late coming back!
I loaded the theme back again and this time tried sense instead of launcher pro.
When I press the phone icon a tiny box pops up that says "phone" and that is all that happens. When I used launcher pro option last evening it said it could not launch the application when pressing the phone icon.
I have an slcd and am using cw 3.008 (I have a temp version of 2.512 I use for wiping cache and davlik cache before installing the theme).

Known Issues:
-Notification Items text is white. Yay. However, when it is a persistent item, say USB plugged in, it will revert to black when pressed. It will stay that way until it is cleared and the new notification will be white again. Also, time is black.

Major:It has been known that sometimes you can loose contact pictures in MMS. Follow these steps to solve it.
Steps to install:
Flash theme.
Fix UIDs.
Reboot.

Great theme.....Running it now,but i dont have any mms contact pics,they aren't showing up any more.(Running 1.3),and i did the UIDs before boot Please help

Thanks you,that worked.....A red clock would be really nice,also maybe red icons on the rosie,red market place and a transparent task bar.

On it, although I usually stay away from Google apps because they update randomly.
but yeah, wayyyy better.

Thanks Low. Been missing your talent on Classic.
A request and take it or leave it, I still like this theme. But I prefer a black transparent pull-down. I know that it's pretty involved because the text needs to change to white.
And the background when pressing an icon on the homescreen needs to match the theme color.
Again... my opinion and my preference. Appreciate your work either way.

Can that be done in the CCP? The only reason I don't change it because I have other apps that still have the black text and I need them to function for work. I will look into making a mod for it.
Also im with you on the backgrounds for the icon press. That is on my list.

You are correct! It can be done in CCP. So I guess that mods in CCP work like Metamorph. You can apply those mods without changing other elements in a theme. Cool
